so, are there any good planet mods yet
I am detrainsitioning.
>>586064636Nope
>>586064636Nauvis from "base mod" is pretty good you should give that one a go
>>586069583lel

>>586067228i understandtrains is hard job
>>586079932The fad Spengies started passed, the solodev projects all turned out too slow in development to maintain hype (shocker) and 2 is too mediocre/incomplete to revive it
Wesley returns to Ughato, the swampy !Free Refined Metal! asteroid to recover gold from the volcano that's been collecting for hundreds of cycles. Unfortunately, this poor neglected asteroid has been BLASTED TO BITS and INFESTED. But this time Wesley did not come alone, he brought a friend... an artificial friend named Rover. His primary mission, clearing the landing pad so the rocket can land, is already complete. Wesley will deal with that suspicious swarm of AMORBI, being the third infestation on this asteroid. (We've just counted them with a critter sensor: there are 148 of them. A perf mod may be saving my bacon.) Meanwhile, Rover shall dunk the gold somewhere to chill.>>585798474Partitioned Storage, Reborn is hereby REJECTED for taking TWENTY-FOUR SECONDS to open the screen EACH TIME.I will probably uninstall the shine bug lamp mod; it's just a shinebug reactor encapsulator and I'm not into shinebug reactors.
what's a good "time at full output" target for batteries when playing null? 20 min?
>already getting bored of transport fever 3It was fun until I realized the entire game is basically clicking point A and point B and choosing the best vehicle (trains). Once you have a good rail/tram set up (early 1900s) there's literally no reason to use anything else.
>>586087391I've settled on this
>>586067228>detrainsitioningIt is sad that, in Space Age, trains are basically mid-game and get made obsolete by stacked green belts and liquid metal
>>586088632Come home, engineer.
>>586084272What are all those little sus guys? Whatever the fuck they called
>>586096001Crewmembers?
>>586096993the minions

>>586080359fucking gay they didn't do factorio
>>586103658yes but also gay that factorio still isn't open source>the fact that a proprietary game going open source is even in the discussion is a massive credit to the culture of wube, andstill gay
>>586093426I may be too stupid for that game, and maybe TF3 too lmao. I really do like TF3 it's just when I look at the whole map and see everything everybody needs it's so overwhelming and I can't even know where to start. I guess it makes sense now that I'm typing it out I should focus on my capital, get them as set as possible and move onto the next largest, closest town. This is only my 2nd proper attempt so I'm still learning, and doing alright but it's still a bit overwhelming.I think I way over extended myself this run, I got rails everywhere, which will need to be rebuilt eventually, I got tram lines in nearly every city and I got supplies going pretty much all over the place too. What's crazy is I feel like I'm already deep in the game but if you look at the year....1908.... so I've not even scratched the surface. I really want to set up some cargo lines with the MD-11, sit behind the wheel of a semi on the freeway and watch the scenery scream by in a Shinkansen but that feels so far off. I'm half debating restarting the run, despite it going so well becasue I've just over extended so much (or so I feel). Thanks for asking reading my blog
>>586103658no one plays factorio pvpbiter battles doesn't count
>>586104539actually they ship a pdbit would be pretty easy to recomp it if you want to pay the claude + legal bill
>>586104781>I may be too stupid for that gameIt's got an excessive amount of optional tutorials
>>586031046>>586036479am I suppose to mall these buildings or not? Please tell me. It seems like massive headache to automate steel which I need for forestry to automate wood for automation science >.<
>>586106771Unlike normal Factorio, or hell even shit like Nullius, Py needs a lot different buildings. A LOT of different buildings. These buildings also take a lot of resources and a lot of different resources.I think you should automate all the complicated parts for buildings rather than the buildings themselves.
Nothing about a mall implies it all has to be in the same place. I love sticking assemblers for buildings whereever they happen to fit and be convenient. After you get bots your assemblers for misc things can be basically anywhere, really.
>>586106771seconding "don't automate buildings themselves"They're very expensive and you need most of them in small numbers. it's like automating rocket silos except everything
Crashed ship is the garbage dump for obsolete garbage>Just shoot chestsNo
>angels spells it aluminium
does pollution even matter given there's no biters?
>>586113826it does notit extra doesn't matter because pollution should be turned off entirely to save on processingevery now and then someone plays py with biters onpity them
i'm getting filtered
