I was excited for new build variety and capstones in Forever, particularly for warlocks since their Classic "rotation" consisted of shadowbolt.I'm disappointed after looking through the sims. Affliction doesn't use its capstone, as well as destruction. Demonology's is the only one that's usable and only because it's a passive buff. All of them consist of of applying dots and shadowbolt spam. What happened to the promised 'drain' style of Affliction? What happened to shadow and flame weaving in Destruction? When the rotations end up so similar, there isn't really a reason flavor reason to pick one over the other, just more reason to flock to the highest DPS.I understand none of this was available in the beta but you'd think Blizzard would do at least SOME balance checking so you can actually use the new abilities they're advertising.
