Otherwise it's fine if you go into it expecting it to be a little weird, granted that might not be the case now with the changes it's gotten. I'd imagine it's probably going to be fine now since before the problems were the 20-30 slog before windfury and the 30-40 gap before stormstrike, but Stormstrike is just pretty early at 25 now which sets you up really well. The downside vs playing any druid though is going to be not having shifting to break CC or being able to pop into bear during "oh shit" moments. Totems are going to make you desirable in any group though.

I remember first playing wow. Making an undead warrior. I'd seen memes by then about how warrior was good to play, one of the best classes. I got level 10 and got.. so bored. The class was beyond basic. You have rend and heroic strike. That was it. It was painfully slow and kid me didn't really understand what was great about it. Eventually I played other classes and they were a bit more fun than warrior. Honestly pondering this I think this idea that warrior being painful and slow to level is actually "in the spirit of classic".
