You could replace the final act of Kuro with the final act of Kai and you would lost almost nothing to the plot.
Provided you make the final fight with Gerard in chapter 5 (and therefore the Vagrant Zion stuff too) and introduxe the space business a bit earlier in the game, let's say by chapter 3 or 4 or the intermission and then you're basically set.
Literally all of Calvard plot so far could have been covered in one game and it wouldn't even have been bloated. That's how bad they messed up with this arc pacing. Had they done that Kuro would have been a game on par with the best in the series.
And before you call me a CSfag I think CS was even worse but it's all done and in the past now.

Bro Kondo literally admitted in the shareholder meeting after Kai's JP release that they had been making the games on autopilot.

Here's how I fix Kiseki
Make FC and SC a single game. Scrap Chapter 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 of SC and you're basically good. Just keep the end of chapter 8 (Raid on Grancel + Olivert) by simply integrating it to the last chapter and Estelle dream which you can do in chapter 6 while she's unconscious on the Glorious.
Keep 3rd since it's actually important for the world building and it's a fucking good story by itself. Rename it Trails of Phantasma or some shit.
Keep both Crossbell games, honeslty they're fine as they are.
Redo completely the Cold Steel games. It would be too long to detail but basically make it so the story fit into 2 games. CS1 and CS2 can easily be one game by making CS1 take less time to develop its plot while cutting most of CS2 outside of the prologue, pantagruel and final act. Completely get rid of the useless epilogue and make the Thomas reveal happen in the final act. Keep the small bit with Lloyd of you want.
Make CS3 and CS4 into one game as they were originally intended to be. One thing you can do is gettong rid of the Crossbell segments in both games and then cutting most of CS4 outside of the rivalries and the final dungeon.
Get rid of Hajimari.

For the second part of your post, honestly I don't think we have to fight the enforcers more than once at all (except Loewe). I would entirely cut out chapter 7 and make the whole business happen while Joshua and Estelle are escaping from the glorious, and then the Liber Ark appearing right after the scene on the beach.
The only one which I think would be a waste is Walter because that's where we learn his whole business with Kilika but you can introduce that some other way like during the raid on Grancel by having Kilika intervene along Richard and Cid.

The point is not to criticize Trails continuity but how it's exploited. You could 10 games and the series would still be by far the longest continuous story in JRPGs or even video games. I can agree that some CS and Calvard games have gotten lost in the sauce as it were, but I think Kuro 1 is a great game that fully embraced the series' legacy going into a new arc, and after Hajimari that was really appreciated. For the Sen saga, sure, the pacing was bad for most of it and the series could have focused on more stuff like meaningfully building Rean after Sen 2, I don't think Hamel needed to be revisited to loosely tie to Sky just to have muh grand reunion, but it still did stuff well and the feeling of grandiosity is still the best in Trails. They had good ideas and the ambition was palpable, they just needed better execution all around.
I can agree Kuro 2 needs to be deleted from the mainline, but overall I vastly disagree with /fg/'s sentiments regarding Kai. It's a fantastic game even with its ups and downs, not unlike Ao in my mind. Not that they have the same downs and ups, but simply that both games have both of those in spades. I do think that as the series draws to a close, there needs to be less emphasis on sidequests.
The Bracer-like point system is obsolete and if they want to pad games the gartens, or some other side activity, does that just fine. Or even better, all side content should focus less on helping NPCs, and more on exploring characters. This might be unpopular, but I think Falcom has actually gotten better with developing its NPCs starting with Sen. To the point that just talking to them and seeing their life develop as the story goes along is enough for me to buy the worldbuilding, you have some stuff like with the CS3 baker that is touching sure, but as the casts have gotten bigger, some characters need more focus. The sidecontent should focus on them.

Legram is the one gem of a place in introduced in CS1, it took until CS3 for prettier locales to be introduced that had an actual identity beyond where they stood in the commoner/noble dichotomy. It's basically a JRPG famous for its great number of playable characters and it's well written storyline. Suikoden I and II on the PS1 are considered to be some of the greatest JRPG ever made.
It is similar to Kiseki in the sense that Suikoden games take place within the same setting. For example in Suikoden II you have several playable characters from the previous game, including the protagonist.

Growing up is realizing Ys is an infinitely better series than Trails.

I'll give CS credit where it's due, the games have decent build variety. There's not a TON of shit you can do but in past games any given character typically had one way to build them if you weren't retarded or doing some kind of challenge run by making Zin your caster or something.

I don't really care about "muh easy" since Trails has never exactly had super hard hitting tactical combat. Most fights are accessory checks because the boss/enemies crutch on an ailment like faint while the rest are DPS races. Higher difficulties just increase how hard you have to minmax.

Even then I still like Kiseki for how much its doing despite its humble budget and production value. Tita voice's acting in 3rd actually sounds likea teenage child and her "gehahaha" laugh after battle is just... damn... really cute, it really sounds like a joy straight out of heart.
