Real talk for a second. I'm confident that the excessive amount of items in Deadlock is making the game worse AND harder to balance. Is this even worth a write up on the forums? I get that it's an Alpha playtest, but I genuinely believe that it's the items that are bogging down the game's design progress. I'm pretty sure if you ignore Neutrals and consumables, Deadlock has waaaaaay more items than Dota 2,. Many of which are just conditional damage/defense for no reason, imo.

Is it just me or does McGinnis feel out of place kit wise with the current state of deadlock? Laning phase wise she can maybe have a role, if her turrets aren’t getting insta killed, but after that she’s really dependent on her team. Her ult is also really easy to counter depending on her positioning, and it’s not even able to proc off of mid air characters. I can go on but in aoe slop spam she’s really hard to justify picking. Item nerfs also weren’t kind to her.
