The contacts that don't outright tell you to fuck off are in so much shit compared to the other endings that they can't help in any way.Songbird's attempts to make you like her are pathetic but her character is clearly meant to be similar to V, she's got shit in her head that's killing her and needs to get it fixed by any means necessary. FIA would never let her go, and they also can't let V go so they cripple V as a "reward", makes sense thematically. Now I'm not sure if the poles intended this interpretation or if their writing is just so shit that their explanation of how V got fucked over feels forced as fuck and makes zero sense. I mean Reed's entire story is that they sold him out and left him to die 7 years ago, maybe it's not even that much of a stretch to assume V gets fucked on purpose. Yeah I'm thinking it's the government version of The Devil.

Unironically one of the worst design decisions in this game happens right when you boot it up. You have to confirm twice before you get to the main menu, choose your save and then confirm again once it loads! Every single time you open the game. How do they come up with this shit?
