VR has been very beneficial to my life. My apartment used to look very similar to that of a hoarder. Not because I have lots of stuff, but because I neglected everything. The floor was full of random items, many of which I hadn't touched in years. Below all that junk was an infestation of carpet beetles, which was being held in check only by the spider infestation.When I first got my headset, playing anything but stationary games was impossible without stepping on stuff.Then I freed up enough space next to my bed to make roomscale games somewhat feasible, with a play area of about 5 by 6 ft.By now everything I own is neatly organized on shelves so as to maximize my playspace size, a lot of old stuff that I didn't need anymore has been thrown away, and my empty floors are easy to clean.

It looks gorgeous cranking the fps/resolution up on wireless. The colors have improved drastically, overlays are now completely clear though they seem to have some heavy performance impact. Overall aside from noticing some slightly worse performance overall it is a night and day difference. If the frame had launched with the software now at this level I think the reception would have been drastically different though it's unsurprising if you've literally ever followed a valve hardware launch. I see pretty much zero reason for the VD dev to port it to the frame now when the new beta just looks better. The only thing it's kinda missing is some additional color tweaking settings and maybe a bit more granularity/refinement.
