Can someon eexplain to me how I died in PoE1? I played HCSSF and got to act 2 by playing extremely conservatively. I was 3 levels over the area level and I was fighting a rare monster that wasn't taking damage for some reason. Then all of a sudden I heard a bang sound and I died. 100% to 0%. I was playing a Sunder build and I had 700 HP at the time, way above what I'd normally be at at that level. Shit seriously baffled me because it was the zone right after you do the 5 monsters with Einhar.

as a poe2 blaster(tm) but poe1 tourist, who started when it was clear 0.5.5 was the same as 0.5, I can see how doomfags are right.after you get over the retarded mouse movement barrier (I still use W for move tho, with mouse for directions) poe1 is objectively the better game. act1-10 were literally just maze layouts I didn't like much, but the fact you get a shit ton of zoom zoom movement skills and a lot of variety after your literal first mobs in act1 (and vendor) makes the combat directly better than slow "vision" gameplay.I still don't understand half of the mechanics in poe1, but have more fun than in poe2 right now
