But with later xpacs it just became a case where PvP gear gives PvP points that increasingly make you untouchable to starters. It leads to an experiance where if you don't have PvP gear, you get your shit pushed in, and to get PvP gear you need to keep getting your shit pushed in till you farm enough to push it in yourself. In vanilla this isn't that much of an issue as even a starting lvl60 had tools to fuck over geared up players, or at least be able to kill casters
