Absolutely do not give porto to a healer until you learn their CCs. After that, it's fine to teach it any of them that didn't get priest.
Just run your healer with swiftness scrolls in the meantime, you can stack those on top of your priest's porto to max out the speed buff on a unit.

Yes, porto goes on characters that are supports, or have turns where they are not doing damage. The scroll of swiftness usually is just as good but you have to remember to restock their inventory.
>fighter/samurai - always clicking a single target attack. Bad use for porto
>knight - probably could cast porto if they are trying to save their SP for knight's defense
>ranger - their single target damage is weak, they could spend a turn on porto after minions are gone
>Rinne - same case as the rangers
>Linaria - see ranger, but she won't even be attacking because of using her SP on ballad

Damn, I made the mistake of ogling the gatcha weapons after two weeks of playing and was so disgusted I deleted the game. I guess it's better I got out early and f2p. I never considered if normal rare end game drops have ridiculous perks like that caster staff.

Honestly, the gacha weapons are (generally) pretty ass. The unique damage bonuses are generally only around 10%~15% so even Sheli's double bonus only adds up to a 21% increase. If 21% on one character (when you should have 3~4 damage dealers) on 1 type of attack (which may not be optimal in the situation) is enough to change how the battle is going, it's likely more of a skill issue then a wallet issue. And that's before you factor in the lower stats due to no +20, the rarity of a high * gacha weapon, and the substat RNG. It's honestly pretty unlikely for a gacha weapon to outdo a farmed one.
The only exception is Yuzu's hairpin but only because Yuzu's skill works really well with said hairpin.

Sheli's staff is really good and easy to get if you just get 1 copy of her on your way to 100 rolls to buy it. There's no reason to worry about gacha equipment though. There's only one mandatory gacha weapon in the entire game, and you can always class change yuzu islf you don't have her pin.

20% is huge when sheli can hit for 2k at level 5 (not her spell, level 5/70). She is meant to 1 shot everything aoe and her gacha bonuses are particularly strong and rare. I'd say it's mandatory if you care about her long term. But still it's not mandatory like the citrus pin.

Don't recall 100% but from the one time I tried the bounty: Greyish brown. Just try it out. Is great fun spending 30 minutes grazing him with hammers only for him to knock you out after all because you ran out of mp/SP to dispell his self buffs. Also it seems at some point the buffs become undispelable? Maybe it was unlucky but I had dissipation and malefic wind both fail to dispell towards the end.

In my case it's rugged Gandolfo, I guess I was charmed by his look and nihilism. Then there is Eldorado. Cool armor and dutiful knight. Jarmil take honourable mention.
The last fav is a Daniel coz I can't stand his voice. Dino annoy me with his attitude. Didn't have Erwin buti guess he wouldn't be welcomed in my team anyway.

Cool appearance and personality. Good active and passive skills. I use him every time I need a second knight or a defense-based knight rather than an evasion-based one.

2. Kagero
He's just a strong frontline character, I think. Very high evasion and good damage.

3. Raphaelo
My personal favourite.
Is he a strong character? No, quite the opposite, but I like his character and design. He's my go-to priest for most fights, but he's definitely not got the best skillset for boss fights. Maybe he'll fare better in Abyss 10 when, at level 130, he will have enough MP to spam his unique skill.

Adam, I wasn't crazy about him at first but he's been there since day 1 and pulled his weight in every abyss. Alt looks cool too, and works well with my Benis/D.Debra/Prishe. Endes up liking him so much I made a new pawn in DD2 based off him albeit slightly edgier and younger. 2nd is probably Arboris, actually pretty strong with Cuisinart Astral break and again cool alt. Aldric probably is the best male design for me though, damn shame they didn't wait for him to get ranger. For generals I used Jean for awhile, but eventually inherited him to MC. Elda gets slept on a lot, I got a 10BP Str iv copy and maxed him as fighter and he doesn't look half bad.
Least favorite is probably Iarumas, which I'll get a lot of shit for no doubt. I just don't care about 2cool4u self insert MCs. Gillion is alright tho.

He's very commanding, and speaks more like a warrior king than a negotiator, but I wouldn't say he's LARPing. He has pretty insightful commentary on most things and is eloquent in his speech if rather blunt.

I love his anniversary event scene where he accidentally finds himself saddled with looking after some children. Shows a soft side to his 'ruthless king' thing, so maybe it is a persona of sorts.
