Just keep up your dots up (Vamp Embrace, Devouring Plague, and SWP) and use mind blast on cooldown inbetween spamming mind flay.
The only interesting part about the spriest rotation is your SWP snaps to your damage buffs so make sure to reapply it whenever you get any. Like if you get Tricks from a rogue or when standing in a spark in EoE, reapply your SWP. After that you can just let it get refreshed by mind flay but that initial application is modified by damage%+ increases.

If CoA and Bronzebeard taught us anything it's that easy leveling is exactly what people want. The player retention in the short term is way higher because zoomers quit as soon as they have to play more than 1 hour to get to level 10. And private servers show this too. High rate servers might die off faster but at least the manage to launch

Forever is supposed to be the classic home and classic was about the journey of leveling and exploring the world with other players. If you just trivialize leveling to the point that grouping up slows you down you just get the retail- experience.

I'm getting bored with my warlock on epoch and with forever coming out tomorrow there probably won't be any endgame any time soon. So I'm thinking about doing a explorer's contract character.
Which class would be the best for this?
I was thinking warrior because they benefit the most from gear and with 0.5x exp rate I'm going to be overgeared most of the time.
Also druid looks tempting because you have more tricks up their sleeve to eventually solo elites while still benefiting from better weapons with feral attack power.
Or maybe I just be myself and pick whatever I like because I will have to spend a lot of time on that class

if this is epoch be prepared to be disappointed when it comes to mining nodes, copper is fine but tin, silver are infuriatingly rare
commission quests will ask for rare BS patterns to be crafted (AH didn't have them) sometimes, don't throw away your grinding stones starting zone commission quests will ask for them or need them in some craft (some of them need bronze bars but rough stone grindstones which come from copper nodes)
fishing can be worthwhile for commission quests, they keep giving healing potions.
nice thing about epoch that a lot of racial skills are actually decent, night elves change theirs depending on the time cycle, dorf/troll racial can save your ass when you are in trouble, undead racial can reduce downtime
