Holy shit, a rat made the mistake of accepting a duel with Imrik, lost it of course and his entire army got -18 leadership for 300 seconds.The entire rat army was flashing as soon as the battle started and one volley put them in permanent withdrawal, until the Stormvermin grouped up to fight Imrik only to get over casted Piercing Bolts of Burning and a Burning Head cast into them and rout the whole army.This mod is so fucking good if you are playing a strong duelist. Grimgor and the like with no mount does not matter anymore - if the opposing lord is dumb enough to accept the duel you can 'assassinate them' and debuff the army before hand instead of Grimgor and co getting swamped by trash while the enemy lord runs away.

I hate Dwarfs. I hate that their innate aversion makes half the factions be guaranteed to fight them. I hate that their AI traits then also makes so much as defending yourself mean the forever war against all of them. I hate that they are past like rank 4 basically undead who never rout and have ridiculous mass so every fight becomes fast forwarded 4x speed slogs. I hate how in sieges despite my units having a vantage to peer over and shoot them they are so short my guns just decide to waltz into their unbreakable t1 infantry and die. I hate how the AI disperses its endless units of manlets in such a wide line I have to play super condensed defensively as there is not enough map space to go around the dwarf linebackers. I hate the knowledge that no matter where I start whichever dwarf LL isn't the one I'm stomping is blobbing, waiting for 20 turns later to be my entire mid to late game. I hate watching tightly packed rows of midgets suddenly split like water and become caltrops that catch flanking units or somehow make it entirely through. I hate every battle being a cluster of 9/180 men left where I can't target somrthing because there's so many dwarf flags in a small area as their units never flee. I hate that every campaign is just a matter of playing around dwarfs. But most of all I hate that fighting them is never fun, and at best I'm left thinking "well that wasn't as bad as expected". Ironically I don't have this problem with chorfs, since they will actually recruit units other than basic bitch dwarf infantry. I know, TTC. It only alleviates the slog slightly. I know, dwarfs are not really the biggest balance offenders. I know, lore accurate. It's not really about anything but the fact that they're fucking everywhere on the map you want to go and they're boring as hell to fight. And since the AI loves wide deployment now the age old flank or maneuver around them is becoming less and less of an actual weakness. I hit the post limit unwittingly
