It's not just a case of do you intentionally stack warriors, but also what people play. When warriors are very powerful, more people play them, and more of them end up in raids regardless. There is also the case of casters. Warlocks don't come with the most exciting raid gameplay, unless you consider pressing a curse at the start of the encounter and then mashing shadowbolt exciting. Mages were better off past BWL since at least they had to keep up ignite stacks which could take raid coordination (esp on thaddius for example). And then you have the specs that are just completely dead. Prot paladin was entirely useless, if you don't count going as far in as reckoning and then doing pvp. Balance druid equally garbage, if you don't count going there for moonglow simply to heal (badly). Rest had a place somewhere technically, some to a very limited degree though.What I don't agree with is attempting to make every spec balanced for raiding. There's nothing wrong with some spec just being inferior. Sub doesn't need to be able to perform in pve when assa and combat exist. It can exist as a pvp focused tree. I think wanting every class and spec to be balanced for raiding stems simply from a sense of entitlement. I want to play this so it should perform regardless of what it takes. All the specs should have a place, somewhere, but they don't need to have a place everywhere. Shadow was mediocre for raiding but good in pvp. That was fine. But of course all the priests complained boohoo we need VT and whatever and equal dps to everyone else so people are forced to take shadow priests into raids.

Friendly reminder devs considerably upped damage output of all classes but didnt adjust hp at all so if you are playing a class such as a mage solo you are gonna be in a world of hurt. Arcane and Fire mages can be alphaed in about 3 globals from a rogue or hunter or feral druid and there's no end game gear which gives you enough stamina without massively sacrificing your offensive power.
