I still can't decide between RP and RP-PvP.RP is naturally more RP focused which I think is important for long term retention, but completely lacks any sense of danger, and the fact nobody ever PvPs is a bit jarring given the setting. I've already seen people non-erotically RPing in the night elf starting zone which is encouraging, and lots of people are running TRP or equivalents (only a couple of cringe profiles to boot).RP-PvP has that sense of danger and can lead to truly kino emergent gameplay, but the RP is much lighter and less frequent (unless you join some spergo guild maybe). I could probably count on one hand how many people I've seen with TRP, and there are far more dogshit names like Jonny Snipez or Iconic Icon running around. The RP I've seen so far is very surface-level and almost exclusively at campfires.I'm mostly concerned RP-PvP is going to become PvP Lite and I'm going to regret wasting time on my OC Donut Steel there. But it has the potential to be so much more interesting overall, I think.What do I do bros... I'm already so far behind...

Race-exclusive guilds, larp guilds, roleplaying in general chat and in /say in towns, and just all around lighthearted fun. The community seems to way way more friendly than a regular PvP server so far and non-RP names aren't really that common. If you're interested in RP and want to do world PvP I really don't see why you wouldn't go with this ruleset, even if its 99% non-RPers there's still that incredibly dedicated 1% that will always be there.I haven't tried out the regular RP server yet but I imagine it's similar. You also just have time for RP to get off the ground in these kinds of servers. Most RPers aren't gonna stop in Goldshire at level 5 and spend 6 hours roleplaying and would rather just spend time questing and leveling.
