I'm new to WoW and playing a Paladin, I like to be able to heal people while fighting in melee so I was using mouseover cast, but I noticed sometimes I would use offensive abilities on the wrong enemies because I was mousing over them while fighting. Is there a way to only use mouseover casting for friendly targets?I'm not very good with modifier keys cause I'm not used to these kind of games.

Having put in dozens of hours into WoW Forever at this point, I can confirm that these dungeon exp nerfs feel absolutely terrible. Bad because: - not having all the quests is frustrating, so you're essentially just looking up where each quest is as to not int yourself. - this is made worse most people not wanting to run a dungeon more than once, so you're reforming a party each time. Feels like a call of duty lobby. - any quest that requires multiple completions feels bad because again, the experience gains are very, very bad. - no one is re-clearing for items so again, you're forced to re-form a group over and over and over again, then wait for all of them to run across the world to the dungeon (if you want gear!) - and don't forget enormous healing shortages because leveling through dungeons isn't a thing anymore, so finding a healer takes ages :)))All of this was done in service of... not having people optionally dungeon grind. Was it worth it? The world already has so many new quests. Hot take: The system was completely fine. There are other ways to nerf mage boosting.

So what does the future of Forever look like? Horizontal progression in WoW will never work and new content has to get higher ilvls to make sense. The game is so obviously made with the idea players will repeat dungeons and grind a bit during leveling dead zones. It’s like taking away mob grinding. Dungeon quests exist to introduce players to new dungeons to do just like how there are so many quests to introduce players to mob grinding spots. There has to be a better way to address the dungeon issue than to just punish every one. The only reason I’m leveling through zones right now is because I already know where to go. If I didn’t thered be so many dead ends and confusion. In actual vanilla I’d do dungeons with friends until the red quests became yellow. I have no idea how a blind new player would fare when the dungeons around them give no experience and they don’t know where to find at level quests and mobs. I guess the game is made with the expectation you’ll look everything up now?
