i genuinely think hiroshimoot is a terrible admin, but i also think that this site should have died years ago. the soul of this place left with its millennial user cohort and all thats left is the detritus of other platforms. 4chan barely feels like an imageboard any more. imageboards simply do not make sense in the current web, especially not as they existed historically with very very little to stop bots and NGOs spamming the place to death. most of the oldfags i know basically dont leave discord anymore, probably because discord is one of few platforms thats relatively resilient to twitter culture takeover and death by bots.

As much as moot had shitty decisions and ended up being shit in the end, I do miss his funny and playful behavior. Hiro on the other hand doesn't do shit other than occasionally mention 4chan on twitter, and pull the whole "Me no speak english" bullshit when confronted (which I think is bullshit, I'm sure he knows english well enough).
Not much seems to happen here anymore, nothing really fun, just stickies whenever some celebrity related to the hobby of said board dies.

Ironically, twitter is probably more 4chan than 4chan at this point, which is really disgusting to think
