Somebody explain to me what the fucking point of the several minute wait on deleting posts is.
What nefarious misuse of the delete function does this stupid timer prevent? Does it even solve any problem?

Deleted posts can't be reported, and there are many people who will spam bump a post, or perhaps post banned content for (more likely, against) a thread's regulars. Both will delete their post ASAP. This timer gives a chance for the post to be reported and the author actioned
