These modded mobs are starting to look too good.
>>2260737Cute girl mod replacer when
>>2260896https://www.curseforge.com/hytale/mods/waifu-kweebec-rootling
I really hope they release the mana system soon so mod makers can make a consensus on how to implement magic rather than a million different magic items
>>2260737i did some myself but i honestly will have to wait for a good while til i actually make them playable mods, because i have 0 idea about coding and i really can't be fucked to get my hands dirty
>>2260737I've noticed most of the good looking stuff is made for specific servers
>>2261592yeah it's currently one of the worst things about Hytale
>>2261605we could always start our own server full of people who create conte---wait....
>>2261820be the change you want to see in the world, anon
uh no lol
I hope we get the option to hotkey emotes for immediate use. Making gen z kids cringe is gonna be great when I DAB on them.
>desert chickens eat cottonhuh.
>>2262249I've never seen half of these creatures...
>>2261605>>2261592I honestly don't care, I'd rather see the game itself be good enough that you don't need to think about mods, example: Terraria.
>>2262249>game introduces taming>disables using the skeleton horse as a mountFor what reason?
>>2262187they play fortnite, unc. that's not gonna make them cringe
>>2262826Wait, skeleton horse isn't rideable now?
>>2262826>>2263834Technically, nothing is ridable/milkable until you tame it.
>>2263848RIP skeleton horse, then
>>2264544I imagine that it'll change later. maybe like, it eats burnt wheat or something
>>2265341Obviously the skeleton horse eats skeleton bones.Like and subscribe for more umamusume facts.
Anyone run this on a HDD? How terrible of an idea would that be.
>>2265958Its running fine here, you just keep getting the YOU SHOULD SWITCH TO SSD message everytime you open up the program.
>>2265976Good to know, I love ignoring warnings too.
>>2265567>uma mod>they carry you on their back like picrelkino aiba ga
ok, this is getting a little ridiculous.
>dead game>all vm server threads are gone>they're running a mod competition so they get absorb content into their dead game
Posting anoncraft IP: 170.205.27.123:5520.
>>2271271oh how the turns table>>2260679
>>2271318oh fuck, lmao, you're right
If the server is dead, the thread for it should die, not be populated with discord-tier discussions.
So I'm trying to build a blueprint for my house>1st floor3 squares high in the middle and 5 on the outside>2nd floor4 squares high>the center space contains 8 chestSo the whole building and the close proximity outside have access via workbenches to storage. Now I gotta pretty it up. How do you guys feel about mods each adding their own workbench?
And the chests. I could probably fit 4 more in here; you can walk in here if you crouch
>>2272469>How do you guys feel about mods each adding their own workbench?I hate them, I don't need to waste more space on something that would've probably fit in an existing workbench. Unless it's something super-specialized then new workbenches have no reason to exist, we already have enough.
hat
>>2272579I played a bit of Anoncraft, and the retarded owner's insistence on instruments mod were an eyesore. I'd rather their bullshit not crowd my vanilla menu.
Hello, this is Hytale General News. Please keep blogposting about your personal game actions in the 'cord. Thanks.
>>2273182You know what they say about wizards, the bigger the hat...
New stuff on the way:https://nitter.net/Simon_Hypixel/status/2029564351464497590#m
>>2273942Call it friendslop if you like, but proximity chat is one of the coolest things a game can include if done properly.>- Fixed an issue with Salvage Benches not processing items correctly.I hope this is the "sometimes an item can't be scrapped if it has even 1% damage" bug. I hate when I have a stockpile of like 8 scrap swords (8 to 16 iron ore after salvaging), and when I finally get my salvager, they won't break down along with the two copper pickaxes, copper daggers, and copper axe I found in a chest.
better learn to loop.
i come from the future lads,>its been five months>80th update rolls out>first World Gen V2 update still announced to be added soon>all they have done is add voice chat, watch youtube videos like promised in the first trailer, and some QoL content>no new content for single player or biome content since day 1 EA
>>2274406I'm anti prox chat, typing is a far better way to communicate as it doesn't require you to give up whatever you are listening to in order to take part in it and it leaves a log that allows things like afk players to jump into conversations. I actually hate how the internet shifted from typing to voice comms as the baseline way to communicate, it's ruined so many games.
It won't be long now before we get our waifu companion mods with generative AI voices and we'll never be lonely again
holee hell. pretty cool mod
>dani's more meats modkek
>>2274742Is she wearing panties?
>>2275818spats
>>2274546as a for of communication, I agree, but as a game mechanic, prox chat is fun as hell
>>2276002LAME
>>2274879>Add something as mundane as some additional livestock items>Make the effects of consumption the best in the game by a large margin for no effortWhy?
>>2274543i believe this. unironically. the update pace is fucking glacial and in 3 updates they haven't added jack shit. maybe riot was right, if in 2 months they only managed to add like 2-3 mobs that were already 90% ready to ship then no fucking wonder riot pulled the plug on the new engine and the entire thing after a whole yearwhat the fuck are these people doing? if they pull a starbound """update""" schedule i'm gonna issue a chargeback
>>2274742god i wish...
>>2274742>Generative AI>But you didn't spend $20k on 6000PROs and RAM before the prices explodedAAAA Anon, I love you so much, almost as much as I love the fizzy refreshing taste of Mountain Dew Baja Blast after munching on a bag of my favourite Doritos. Let's explore the world and build a house together!
>>2277918>local ai>not just scraping API keys for llms or having someone do it for you>not taking advantage of the echo tts huggingface space
>>2277918....Elon?
>>2277795The people working on the game now are not the ones who were working on it under riot.
>>2278084huh? simon himself said they're the same devs
anoncraft warps broke, you can't change destinations anymore
>>2277795Game's been 'out' for 2 months (also it's the 2021 build). Just what exactly were you expecting in 2 months?
>>2281959>ackshully it's only been out for 2 monthsenough with this tripe
>>2281966Not an argument. Explain what you were expecting.
>>2281969a slightly more complete game for at least 6 years of work, simon :)
>>2282033Can you quantify what you were expecting in 2 months?
>>2282036look buddy i get that you feel the need to play this gay little quantifying game because you bought the cursebreaker edition but i didn't so i'm not gonna play with you, how about that?
>>2282051Lol you don't even know what you want. That's funny.
I am once again asking for you to post your coolest builds or best landscape shots. I need pictures to look at.
is anoncraft dead?
>>2287368seems so, I can't log in
>>2287368Same. I don't blame him if it took it off line.
>>2261162wait that's really cool though anon please make it a real thingit could pretend to be a rock or something and unburrow
well, is the game DOA or can they get back the player count with Worldgen V2?
>22 mins to a whole month with no stable updates
>>2295963Worldgen v2 and steam, and stop worrying about mods and just make the game fuck modders.
Update 4 next weekhttps://nitter.net/Simon_Hypixel/status/2034666509503529391#m
>>2297898>Block variants for Chalk and all the other basic rock types that previously had nothing>Adding definitions for common mod metals (zinc, bronze.. where are tin and uranium...)>T-junctions for fences and wallsVery cool changes.
>>2295963Worldgen V2 isn't going to bring anything new to the table. It's literally just how your world gets built. The base game is going to be in limbo for at least 1 year.
kek. I've played more hytale that minecraft, but I'm more excited by their new mob than anything hytale has cooked up post-release.can't wait for hytale to copy it and put it in their game, since that's what they're good for.
>Removed Tiers 9 and 10 from the Farmer’s Workbench.>Workbenches will now continue processing items even if their chunks are unloaded.>Workbenches will now resume processing items if their full output slot is emptied.Very nice
>1 month with zero stable updates>update contains zero new gameplay additions>dev time went to useless shit like proximity chat, an emote wheel and 250 blocks that don't jelq with the current artstylewelcome back s(hi)tarbound!
>>2312111
>>2312111They really need to not be so worried about interrupting mods, update the speed you want and modders can fucking deal with it.
Want to add your own animations and custom emotes? No problem! Here’s the mod structure to add emotes to the game:Place your emote animation (.blockyanim) in Common\Characters\Animations\Emote\Place your emote icon (.png) in Common\Icons\Emotes\Create your emote config (.json) in `Server\Emote\ (replace "MyEmoteName" with the name of your new emote)How long until sex mod
>>2312446last i checked loverslab was still all talk and like 2-3 janky models
>>2312440>They really need to not be so worried about interrupting modsthey're catering to modders as hard as they can (even going as far as hiring/contracting them) because they figured out that the actual team can just add useless shit like emotes and voice chat while the modders do the actual work, original vision be damnedwithout the modders there probably wouldn't be any updates
>>2312469The game is never going to go anywhere if they stick with that plan, you're not going to win people over with minecraft 2.0, the base game has to be the selling point and then the mods make it better.
>>2312440I feel like they can't be too worried about mods during early access. I 100% agree with their long-term vision about making the game extremely mod friendly, but they're at stage right now where they need to just be able to add and just stuff without worrying too much about modders.
>>2312446>tfw i still play hytale>sit down and spend a week making an intricate sex animation>one for the male and one for the bottom>missing some stuff for full quality dynamic penetration but it mostly works>install it on server>>rm -rf all the mod files>start making a new emote to make my char masturbate instead
Are there any decent MMO/RPG servers yet? This mod looks cool but I can't gauge how far we are from extensively modded servers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gN6I70YUzu8
Anyway to pirate Hytale? I don't like giving money to the devs who stole my time and patience.
>>2332064yes
>>2332064Pirating is trivial, the problem is going past the online authentication, because this shit ain't offline. Imma out of patience, probably gonna wait until it's on sale on Steam or something, this is not worth the hassle for now.
>>2332064You'd be pirating weekly updates. Good lord I can't imagine being such a poorfag that I would subject myself to that.
>>2328055>wikislopOld games had strategy guides and walkthroughs to learn the things you didn't know, and as kids, we had infinite time to learn everything about a game.People who complain about having to "use" a wiki are just impatient and don't want to play the game; they just want to consume the content.
>weekly pre-release updates add nothing of value>monthly (more like a month and a half) updates add nothing of valueit's been 3 months by now, why did it turn out like this? they're printing money and yet they can't hire people to actually add more content instead of useless shit like vc and emotes?
Any 4chan Hytale servers yet?
>>2360824Not coming back until the updates slow down, probably.
>>2328055Histatu apparently is very popular
>>2359926Constant update break mods, and this pretty much made modding unbearable and halted, ironically enough.
>>2370105ok? the constant updates are all completely inconsequential shit nobody asked for, instead of constantly breaking api shit under the hood they should just add more CONTENT
>>2345675NTA but don't be disingenuous. I grew up on NES to PS2/Gamecube and game manuals were something worth reading. If I read a manual it could include all kinds of cool hints or tips, but the manual was short, so if it was required to play the game it wasn't a big deal. Most of the time I'd just be reading it because the manual was cool looking and I wanted to digest every bit of it I could, or we were driving home from the store so there wasn't much else to do with my excitement.Modern games, particularly ones by indies, obfuscate entire interactions by not making them apparent to the player. OSRS is kind of like this, but it's primarily a problem if you're talking to other people. They'll tell you that you should be playing more optimally because you could skip straight to 40 attack or some other high stat. What they forget, or neglect to tell you, is that you have to do a bunch of quests to get to that point. While you're doing that they're recommending five other quests that require three quests each. So you get these people who have watched a ton of youtube series and have been playing the game for years trying to rush you along and it's annoying since it destroys the magic of self discovery. What I truly dislike however is when I'm playing a game and it's been hiding a necessary feature or something that will now require a second playthrough. That being said the games on that list that I've played aren't really wiki heavy. I think it's more of making fun of people who have rely on the wiki just to play it.
>>2345675>>2376660Oh my bad. Somehow I missed the point of your post entirely. Either way the last bit of that post stands, that being that the image is making fun of people who can't learn from playing the game itself.
