really good neons can be hard to fight but theyre few and far between (especially in the shitter lobbies where redditors most definitely are). really the only issue with her atm is that sentinels are in the gutter, whyen ordinarily theyre the ones who can limit her impact on your team

People keep using "THIS IS A TAC SHOOTER" as an excuse against giving space against someone who takes it or tracking before committing to a shot. Neon is obnoxious to shoot, and honestly her slide is the most egregious part of her kit, but good Neon play *is* hard earned through high mechanical mastery and successfully playing mindgames at high speed. Whatever argument there is for Valorant's "CS-like" integrity is already compromised by the fact that it's a silly hero shooter where Brim molly and Jett smoke have lineups but Brim smokes are literally set'n'forget and Iso has Mordekaiser's ult from League. Iso shield is great in theory but in practice most guns firing speeds are too fast for it to realistically make much difference. They just shoot you again, and the second bullet always seems to be a headshot despite being on recoil cooldown.

realistically Iso shield is great against Op at hard sightlines or in his ult, and it's definitely his #1 tool to win out trades. As far as taking space, his other abilities are probably way more important. I don't know what' swrong with me, but I want to reinstall this game. I really enjoy it, but every time, without fail, the game and/or vanguard give me PC issues. I felt bad last time I was into it because when my friend installed it to play with me he bluescreened 3 times in a row and promptly uninstalled it lol. Personally, when it was new I was having bizarre internet problems in every game that went away as soon as I uninstalled vanguard. When I got back into it around 2024 it gave me the occasional bluescreen. And yet I'm seriously attempted to reinstall. Why am I so retarded? My friend can't even give it another chance cause he's on linux now.

Idk but I've always preferred the phantom just because the amount of times I get the 140 damage headshot and lose the fight is pretty low compared to how often the burstiness wins me a fight where I miss the opening headshot I probably would have lost with a vandal. Also I like having 30 ammo

All of the side-modes are fun if you mix them up, but if you only want to play 1 of them and not the main modes you'll get bored. By main modes I mean unrated, competitive, and swiftplay. The side modes are deathmatch, tdm, skirmish, spikerush, escalation, and retake. They're a lot of fun but you won't be able to be a 'tdm main' without getting bored really fast.

Unranked is a joke because most children/manchildren will try to forfeit by round 5, TDM sucks because the maps suck and none of the agent were designed for it. Swiftplay might be the only salvageable mode.

"Depth" isn't defined by the clickable options on the menus, it's about the game itself. Also, you're not supposed to 'grind ranked'. The rank is only there to give you close matches as much as possible. You can try to improve if you want but it doesn't matter. I haven't played the game in 4 years, did they make some of the old agents unlocked by default? I do not remember unlocking agents like Neon or Yoru. My other thought is that there used to be a different way of unlocking agents and I just spent the currency because I hit the cap.
