They are still on Roblox's servers yet there is no way to preserve them. A good majority of Roblox games that were once on the front page are now lost forever and are a part of this 99%. You can check the wayback machine and see what was on the front page, being played by a few players that were socially participating. A very small minority of games remains that are available to be downloaded, waiting to have all its assets archived.Chat activity is now dead. It used to be highly active from 2009 with users casually chatting. Despite having 150 million active users, there is none that can properly speak to each other. The worst part about the social aspect of the game is that there are no other platform that encourages thoughtful discussions. There can never be anything similar to the /vm/ meet ups.Polytoria tries to address Roblox's issues by being the alternative platform. While being the platform that seeks to fix Roblox's problems, it fails at this with being a live service game, corrupted power admins, and terrible users.In the near future, Roblox will shut down when the AI bubble pops. It has relied on market trends for too long and has failed to deliver in quarterly earnings for too long. The only way to continue playing Roblox games is through a Virtual Machine that mimics the Roblox environment. Other than that, I wish to see many Roblox games be ported to game engines. Unless there is a sudden resurgence, I plan to continue owning the group until the last thread. Nothing is forever.
