How much longer is mop classic expected to last? I never really experienced it but would like to do the challenge modes on at least 1 class before they go away. I'm just not sure how big of a time commitment that would be since mop was at that inbetween phase of the game where it wasn't vanilla-tier long leveling and gearing, but it also wasn't wod fast yet.

More like complaining about giving Blizzard a single cent. You can invite friends to play on your spp server and player bots are better than 99% of actual players. Who are you even interacting with on Blizzard servers? A bunch of troons and assorted faggots who will get you banned for saying anything mildly controversial.
