Want to say I can't believe it, but I sort of get why.
Even if TERA is very obviously the better game between the two, it's also an old, niche MMO with limited content and a painfully slow endgame progression curve (for either v31 or v100). Nu-/terag/'s run was already on its way out by the time Star Resonance showed up, and people who were just in it for the animu aesthetic ran off to try whatever was most recent in that category, even if said newer game ended up being pretty terrible.

Arborea in particular had a ton of promise and was generally much better received than Agaia overall, but the latter came out first, and that's where everyone went. Icye was arguably the most popular Tera streamer back when the game was still alive. He used to spend all day farming Kelsaik on stream and a large part of the reason why he managed to get such a big audience is because he would blatant cheat but he always switched to a BRB screen while cheating. In Kelsaik that meant running up to the gate, switching screens then macro jumping up the side to skip the gate entirely which shaved off a lot of time(the trash in the beginning is annoying even if you're geared because they spam knockdowns and it's difficult to keep them all grouped). He streamed with a voice changer because he still sounded like a guy at the time and hung out with other trannies.

If you want proof just ask anyone who played back then(I think Icye was big in late 2013? Maybe 2014?) or dig up some of his old streams if they were archived anywhere. Very typical tranny voice changer voice.
