Like genuinely I've tried a lot of MMORPGs, but not all of them, and I've like RuneScape the most. I tried really hard to like the other games I've tried, but it can never reach how good and beautiful RuneScape is.I've played a good amount of time of these (not in order):Tibia, Ultima Online, Wynncraft, Albion Online, Brighter Shores, Black Desert Online, Asheron's Call, EverQuest 1, Final Fantasy XIV, Trove, and Realm of the Mad God.I can't like, I really liked Tibia and Ultima Online so far, some of the games here too are *worth to try,* but they can never beat how beautiful RuneScape is in many cases. To be fair, I mostly don't like the locked-class thing, which would say a lot about me, but it's not really much of a problem with me, that's why I've tried the other games.

>>2532803there are other mmos that don't lock characters to classes, and leveling other classes have carryover skills, but for something truly open ended like runescape your best bet is something like poe2
>>2533544I've tried POE 1, but I wasn't sure if it was an MMORPG or not, so I've just didn't count it there. But I haven't really tried POE2, so it worths noting.
>>2533544POE2 feels aimeless to me. I'm not advanced enough to make my own builds so I'm just mindlessly following a premade skill tree and have no idea what I'm even aiming for beyond allocating all of my skill points/support gems. D2 with the rune system feels much more focused to me. Collect specific runes and unique items to make a new build based around those uniques/runewords.
>>2532803>no Ragnarok Online
