You'll have a hard time reaching machines at all if Toons like Shelly and Yatta are in the run, so around floor 10 is when you can expect to actually start playing the game. If you manage to get a machine earlier than that, then cool.At least Dyle floor is peak Vee gameplay.
What I lament the most about Manic Somni design is the absence of the bow. I always took note of Somni having a huge bow on her back, so huge it looks like wings. Combined with her lighter colors and gentle looks, it makes her look angelic. I know Loaffledev has his own vision and I don't mean to force my ideas onto him, but I think Manic Somni having wings made out of ichor would be so fucking cool. I tried to express it the changes I want to see in my drawing too, like the lights getting moved to the side so the design isn't as heavy on the front anymore, and the hair ornaments getting replaced to black stars to contrast Somni's moons. Manic Somni doesn't have much of a theme in her design outside of being robotic, so I think her having corrupted/fallen angel features would give her more identity and also combine very nicely with her having extra eyes. Imagine the potential for an extra boss phase, her wings unfolding from the bow once you beat her, soaring high above the player.

One of those situations where I have a natural, strong positive reaction to seeing something so I think that means it's just good. I really think Loaffledev should go with this approach.

You'll have to mention that they're different entities somewhere. So if you like the idea of her getting wings, it would make for an impressive and memorable boss battle, and you don't have any flying enemies yet if I remember correctly.
