You can do that in outfitter.

A Commando using a rifle, and a Sniper using a rifle, both lose some abilities since some abilities actually reference a minigun or a sniper rifle. But you can circumvent this by putting the rifle in your outitter outfit.

How do I get good at this game? Most matches just feel like a clusterfuck where I get instagibbed before I can even get my bearings and go the entire game with maybe 5 or 6 kills. Should I be playing something other than supremacy? Ive been grinding in co-op, but that obviously doesn't translate very well to real games. I've been playing officer and enforcer almost exclusively.

The problem with Supremacy is that Heroes are present at all. You will eventually have THAT kind of match where some sweaty fuck locks in Vader or some shit and just farms your team for kills the entire match while also abusing the health regen on kill + excessively high natural HP replenishment from just not taking fire for 3 seconds.
GA isn't much better either because those same players instead do shit like never getting off the LAAtc while nuking every goddamn spawn.

Though, Officer is actually really fun and useful when it isn't being used to scorewhore for hero shit. It's a thankless job, but health recovery cards can really turn the tide for you and your team when taking/defending points.
You can also troll enemy players by taking the disruptor to overheat their weapons, then use the officer command that finishes your cooldowns and using the disruptor again.

There are thousands or perhaps even millions of people who don't have enough of a connection to the force to be selected or training. Both the sith academy and the jedi temple will notice and test these people, but eventually decide they're not strong enough to actually train. An example in the swtor cinematic is Ri'kan being left behind during Sahar's recruitment by Denolm Orr.

This is not an accurate summary of how it works, but one way to think about it using totally made up numbers is if force sensitivity were a scale from 1 to 100, anyone 50 or above gets selected for training. Anyone at 1 isn't force sensitive. So that leaves everyone that's like 10-40 in this grey area where you're technically force sensitive, but it's so weak you got left behind.

These people who are not selected for training will often forget about the whole thing, or will get busy with other parts of life that they completely neglect their force sensitivity, or they'll resent the whole thing and just push it aside, etc.

Nul's machine will "remind" or "awaken" these neglected force connections. Everyone who was ever in that 10-40 range that was force sensitive but forgot or was never selected for training will suddenly remember, and their force sensitivity will be brought back into their mind.

The reason this distinction matters is because for a long time there was a common thought among fans that Nul's machine would *make* someone who was not force sensitive suddenly force sensitive. It doesn't make someone who had 0 connection suddenly have one, it just reminds/reawakens a neglected connection.

That still means suddenly millions of additional force users. Malgus wants the sudden influx because it would overwhelm both the sith and the jedi, which he views as outdated dogmas holding people back. He's a radical anarchist who wants only the strong to rule, and no antiquated institutions strangleholding knowledge of the force. Everyone out for themselves.

Because Nul's legacy is the machine, and it's reborn because people activated her legacy after it was dormant for hundreds/thousands of years. Zash only appears on Nathema if you sided with Khem during the story. If you sided with Zash every time, Khem appears on Nathema, and Zash is alive and well somewhere offscreen.

Most players sided with Khem, so they're unlikely to make her any sort of major character since she's dead in most player's game, but the fact that she's alive in some player's game means they should at least have like a little alliance alert or side scene. It would be very funny to have her show up on Odessen and do her usually "oh wow apprentice you've really done well for yourself" routine lol.

There's about a dozen characters it would be really cool if they did this with. I want to check in on Ardun Kothe, Dodonna, Beryl, Shariss, Yuon Parr, Thariki, and a bunch of others. Well, I use the term active loosely. They still exist, at least. It's just me and like a couple other people usually. Sometimes a random person will like the name and ask to join, but I don't advertise. So a few people come and go, not necessarily only from here.

In all honesty, you'll get a lot more out of joining a guild that does raids or achievement hunting or whatever. I have characters in other guilds and it's nice when they're active. The two from here I'm just sort of holding onto for the sake of it, and the funny names that people comment on lol.
