The variety and depth of builds that you can have in this game is pretty amazing. It's not just the freedom you have to go down the paths you want, so you can be a doctor who crafts his own stimpacks or a ship engineer who lapdances on the side, but the depth of paths too, where theres like advanced and prestige versions too. So it's not just you're an artisan, because then you can choose to become an engineer, then you can choose to become a droid engineer. And so your entire thing is like making cool droids for people and that's your role in the game. And its pretty cool IMO that you can seriously hone in that way, or you can spread yourself out to do a variety of things.Feels like you can play this game without engaging in combat at all if you just get the materials off the market. You can choose to play this game as an RPG, or you can choose to play it as a sandbox game, or both.

>>2587350Pretty much AFKing. You gain EXP through people watching you and also by flourishing which is basically the entertainer's versions of skills. But you can easily create a macro for flourishes and the wiki even has a macro for you. So as long as you have someone watching you and you have the macro on, you can AFK.The wiki says its the easiest job in the game or the hardest depending on if you have someone willing to watch. So someone like me who has everyone here could easily get it to master in a week because someone was always around willing to watch and then AFK. One time two of us left it for hours. But if you're a new player who knows someone and is doing all this solo, its the hardest, as you're relying on performing in Cantinas with other Entertainers who are much more skilled than you and give out better buffs, so everyone prefers to watch them instead of you and your shitty buffs. Its a big hurdle you gotta get over.

I tried making a camp and deploying it near the guild hall. It can be loaded with a number of functions. Unfortunately, it only lasts 10 minutes, so it's pretty much useless, especially considering the resources required to make it...

Doctors required camps to do a lot of their major buffs and wound healing, now they can do it anywhere, making them better party healers. Entertainers could also buff at camps but at master entertainer you can buff anywhere. They basically acted as a med center and cantina combo in the wild.It was extremely common to see lots of camps placed outside of a major dungeon before a big run, so Entertainers and Doctors could buff the party heading into the dungeon. Some people would be nice enough to just stay out of dungeons and buff random groups going in but it was mostly guild members buffing their fellow guildies before a run.Now, a doctor can simply go with them into the dungeon similar to a combat medic as on the server they can heal wounds in the wild.
