It's going to be cumulative once more, for sure. I can only hope people use their cheats for good and end ACB games as soon as we load in because of the insane amount of grinding you need to do. You could swear they are trying to justify ACB's continued existence to their higher-ups if you look at the point gain vs required points to rank up.

At level 9, all components of Strikezawa's alpha cumulatively deal 74 damage if you just kick the enemy into the air, 163 damage if you kick the enemy into a surface, and 183 damage if you kick the enemy into another enemy. Any enemies hit by the flying enemy will take 120 damage. The slam portion is a hard knockdown and you can't cancel his alpha, so Strikezawa himself can't combo this into anything else. As seen in LFJ's video, you can wakeup out of the throw relatively quickly and flying enemies get slowed down massively when they enter the storm, so Strikezawa can only send someone far away if they WANT to be sent far away.

Strikezawa's beta slam deals 100 damage and staggers the enemy to open them up for combos. Beta->gamma->alpha is his most damaging combo, for 333 damage if you kick the enemy into a surface and 353 damage if you kick them into another enemy.

Strikezawa's gamma can be tapped for a short midair dash that will deal 70 damage and bind one character if he hits them, or held to activate targeting and auto-track to up to two characters. Holding it down in this way doesn't consume ammo, so Strikezawa can kind of fish for binds using this. Gamma->melee 1->alpha is a combo only if Strikezawa uses his held gamma or he hits the enemy on the very end of his tap gamma, he winds up too far from them to land the melee if he hits them in the middle of his tap gamma. His melee 1 only adds 21 damage, so it's mainly a way to activate melee tunings.

Strikezawa's alpha deals pretty good damage and the cooldown isn't too bad, but his basic combo (gamma->alpha) deals less damage than Techzawa's alpha->gamma, Strikezawa's best combo (beta->gamma->alpha) deals only slightly more damage than Techzawa's gamma->alpha->alpha slam AND only if Strikezawa kicks his target into an enemy. Even on the basis of alpha alone, Techzawa's air alpha deals 166 damage while Strikezawa's alpha into surface deals only 163 damage, AND Techzawa is more mobile while using his alpha and has more ammo for it. On top of this, Techzawa has more mobility.overall.

The only appeal of Strikezawa seems to be the comedy of kicking enemies into each other like bowling pins, and the ability to fish for easy hits with his gamma. The only real advantage Strikezawa has is the lack of any reload start span on his alpha, so he can technically spam it more than Strikezawa can.

I think it may be both.
The inclusion of the higher ranks as "Ace+X" is conspicuous to me. I can't imagine reaching the highest rank is going to dump 70 revival coins on you all at once.

I think the most likely scenario is that the rewards are cumulative for all of the rank tiers, BUT the "Ace+X" ranks are all considered the same tier.
So reaching the final ACB rank doesn't give you 1000+ tickets, it gives you as many tickets as reaching ACB Ace, plus 20 gift boxes.

I think reaching Ace will net you 280 tickets, but reaching Ace+10 will still only net you 280 tickets.

The air acceleration change was a big one, not sure if that was before you last played. Every character is a lot more maneuverable in the air now.
A lot of nice QoL changes to a bunch of characters.
Grab meta has finally been killed, as ranged grabs (Aizawa, Shinso, Tamaki) no longer interrupt armored moves.
Mirko is in the game now.
You can get old limited emotes/costumes/etc with a new currency called revival tokens.
All new character and skillset banners now last from their debut until the end of the season, so you have longer to hit pity on them.
We got a new map a few seasons ago, Neo Academia.
Many of the strongest characters received significant nerfs (though Strike Kiri still has yet to receive any).
You can now customize the appearance of your lobby background.

Notice how easy it should be to cancel his gamma with melee, it's not impossible to react to. If you're on the ground, rolling will likely lead to a better punish depending on your character, but the trade should be in your favor. I also have to test with someone in training mode if these gamma taps do in fact, apply erasure or not. There's a very thin line between being able to cancel it back to back, getting the tap version and getting the held version aka the lock on.

Well, this is all I got so far for movement tech. In addition to the pre-release buffs Strikezawa got, they should've added one more bullet to his beta. This Spider-Man looking web swing is realistically your sole movement tool, so if you don't have space hop, you become very limited with your offensive and defensive options. Just one tiny additional charge would give him some breathing room.

That is true, but it would require some slight edits to set it on the exact frame on both clips. I'd rather have a more streamlined process, like OBS starting the clock when I press record or alt tab into the game. I almost thought about using that speedrunning timer everyone uses, livesplit, for this. Either way, this is a better end result as the difference is recorded in the videos and I get a stopwatch for offline use. Yeah, yeah, I could've put it side by side too but I'm lazy.
