They're understandably not going to do heavy-handed nerfs, so that renaissance is never going to happen.You're better off keeping a close eye on buffs for Necro, Ranger and Paragon as that's where all the weird, highly specific builds will emerge.

In Stygian, with 20 Spear Mastery, my Mighty Throws were hitting for ~110-140, lowest usually in the 80s and if I got lucky my highest were 160s.
