>>2730262
>>2730262I recently played cs2 for the first time since launch and holy shit it's bad. It's because of cheaters they don't make multiplayer games anymore. Its why nonsense party games like mecca chameleon, Roblox and among us are so popular. We grew up in a time when video games had real production, graphics that could depict an exciting experience. Now games are composed of cheap reused assets and tasteless Adobe flash drawings. Even castle crashers and alien hominid had better art than among us, and it was really cool seeing something like that of a flash game on the ps2. Now every game is a means to generate youtube views from streamers. I can't wait for the alpha kids to get drafted.
If they range banned the terrible three countries cheating would improve overnight.
>>2730262>>2730274Dumbfuck retarded ESL.
>>2749747Please enumerate the countries so I can get educated and Geo IP block them from my servers
>>2749747Unfortunately the shithole countries are where they get the most market stimulation from via bots and all the marketplace manipulation. We're at the terminal stage with that cancer
I think this is the first time I see a recent overwatch conviction on a guy in cswatch during cs2who the fuck has overwatch access nowadays?
lolanyone else in eu run into a bunch if arabs that wanted to slip yuor throart?
>>2755486Russia ChinaDon't know the third country anon is referencing, i think in south america there's a cheating culture too, so brazil?
Any ideas for Linux? I'm experienced nerd and know my way around proton and the gayming stack. CS2 is native but I can't use gamemode and despite running X11 I'm getting horrible input latency and mouse itself isn't accurate. For comparison Gears of War 5 which UE game feels really snappy.I suppose doing anything about this isn't possible because of valve's anticheat (which does nothing to stop actual cheaters..).Just a shitty experience compared to Windows CS2.
>>2832572*which is
>>2824023Turkey,germany, russia
>>2832572Never mind, deleted this trash heap off my computer. Valve has ensured that casual modes and everything else outside of competition is bad on purpose so they will funnel more people to eat up e-sports dick. Game is not fun to play casually unless you are a masochist or are using cheats.
not dust
>>2836352Everyone having free armor in casual so everyone can afford awps and half the guns are useless is such a dumb decision..you have to play competitive to play the real game cause of shit like that
>>2839089yea yea. casual was fun in cs 1.6 and source, but its miserable in csgo/cs2. If only there were casual community server communities with their own settings it could be good
>>2832572Ive never had an issue running cs2 on Linux. I run it with an Nvidia GPU as well.
>be europoor>be bad at cs>every game all my teammates are ruskies and ukies>somehow they are even worse than me
>every match is a chore>get meme skins for weapons no one usesI don't think i can do this anymore...
How the fuck does opening another game trigger VAC but hackers are able to roam freelyIs Valve fucking retarded?Let me play another game on down time after you let hackers fuck people over you goddamn retards
>>2844662explain
>just checking random skins from market>find this pretty cool sticker combongl not bad
so if someone on the enemy team calls you a noob they are just mad, right?
>>2730262>open csgo comunity sever gaben you fat retardhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/4465480/CounterStrikeGlobal_Offensive/ 3k people playing
>>2839089they should also cap the player counts in casual, 12v12 is far too chaotic, limit it to 8v8 or 6v6 or something
>>2873118They should make it 16v16
Anyone know any good nades that I should be throwing every round as a solo queue player? I made the mistake of learning nades for execs and flashes for teammates only for teammates not to push at all. Stuff like smoke lineups that dont require multiple smokes to be effective and self flashes.
>>2879701con and window on mirage. doors on d2. Z on cache. etc... I mean if you're low rank util is not gonna matter as much as mechanics. By mechanics I mostly mean your strafing/peeking and crosshair placement. Those will rank you up by far. Like minimizing shift peeking nad having unlazy silent peeks hwere u hit max velocity before making a sound for all the angles. And just wide swinging with a teamate behind u to tradeOhhh also look at demos and look at the util combos they use to take space/hold a position. Those are good solo nades too. So pick a position and copy the proper utility. So if u play cave for example u throw this molly and nade every round on ancient at the beginning to make it so they cant get to cave from ramp area only if they go thru mid. shit like that
>>2879701On T inferno learn to molly car and nade corner or sandbox. on T d2 drop suicide smoke mid and molly cat... the trick to getting this real good i figured out lately is to throw the molly earlier than u think the animation has a delay on it so u can hit full speed and throw it before u hit the box in suicide infront of u. This will allow ur teamates to press W+ up to cat walk without getting caught holding W by an aggressive cat peek. Molly stops them from being able to peek down mid from cat
>>2883123Thank You.
>>2891544yeaaa but honestly all this util stuff is better off learnt later on... I mean id still learn it slowly when you can, but its gonna have way more use at higher ranks... I got top 8% in the beginning of season 1 which was only 12k premier. Didn't start playing again for awhile and was stuck starting in 12k.... Finally got lucky with placements and put me at 19.750. took me about 35 games to break 20k. Once i broke 20k i went on like a 9 win streak and went striaght to 23k. Not even like I was fragging out but just throwing all the good utility and telling ur teammates what to do and they actually know how to play off it and swing and trade each other etc together shows u that that kinda teamplay utility shit will greatly rank u up at higher ranks but basically a waste of time at low ranks. Honestly row ranks I'd grind prefire maps. workikng on crosshair placement and having the most velocity to all ur peeks as possible without making noise. shit like that.
>>2755486China gets brought up a lot. Supposedly, their internet cafes have cheats pre-installed and their players don't know any different.
I gotta stop playing tired, I just lost 5 games in a row on faceit and now back down to 800 mmr sadge
>get stuck in elo hell (1.3 k/d +3.5 leetify rating)>Try to find other players who are also stuck in elo hell>Every other player I find claiming to be in elo hell is underperforming in their rank (sub 1.0 k/d, negative leetify rating)What causes this?
>>2909943The majority of human-beings have difficulty with abstract reasoning and associate value with more surface orientated concepts. For instance, take someone like the player 'donk' and his faceit profile. On some level, they will know the position that 'donk' has within the overall competitive community and associate a high social value to the player without understanding the more nuance surrounding him as a person or player. On an unconscious level, people will begin to start associating the more shallow aspects of his person as reasoning for his success and start emulating him in weird ways. This is why you might see certain trends in users online emulating streamers such as using very popular anime avatars, or going out of their way to decorate their steam accounts, their faceit accounts, etc, because they are only seeing the game from a shallow standpoint. It's basically gaming turned social media and I bet you roughly 66-75% of the playerbase in CS2 don't even really know why they play the games, they are just emulating what they see and being socially performative. I probably didn't articulate this very well as I'm no social scientist, but users online have been this way since roughly 2006 afaik.
>>2910350Thanks for the off topic ESL schizo rant
>>2910514S'what I do, bosssss.
What should I do if someone on the enemy or my own team is very blatently cheating? I had someone fully rage hacking from round 1 and I just reported them and abandoned the match because I didnt want to deal with it. Obviously I should not abandon all the time to avoid getting banned, should I just go afk?
>>2914261try to kick them and if you cant just play it out if you dont want to get afk kicked/abandon. griefing the cheater is pretty fun too
>>2909943it's players that don't know how to adapt having worse teammates, instead of learning how to provide impact they blame "elo hell". Sometimes it actually is just impossible but those are rare, CS is one of the few games where one player can drag the team to a win
Anyone here want to mentor me out of low elo faceit pugs?
>>2916631how submissive and breedable are you?
>>2922600I'm 5'6 an 28 years old, you don't want this
>>2916631+1Play Nuke roof lmao. AS CT
>>2910350this is true.
>>2892042The re-fragging and team play is what people want to do when they launch cs:go (cs2).They meet toxic slavs instead. But still stay hoping this will change. This is with most of games online.
I am so fed up with this game, I just want to have fun playing some casual modes. Deathmatch is full of bots. Recently retakes started to have bots as well. Today I saw 3 more than obvious wallhackers in casual, they weren't even trying to hide it. Why would anyone even cheat in casual? Go get your high rank in premier and make people seethe 10 times more than in casual. Seriously considering trying v*lorant.
>>2932529>obvious wallhackers in casualYou didn't kick them? I also play mostly casual and theyre almost always kicked
>>2932529They need their ingame profile level to 10 to cheat in comp. It's just the wave of cheaters gaining back their ranks
>>2932537I couldn't manage to get kicked even the one on my team. I usually tell everyone to check the cheaters pov first, but still, it doesn't always work.>>2932541Yes that makes sense, fucking hell.
>>2932529just play a different game for a while, this game tends to have good and bad times in terms of cheaters and right now the game is in a rough spot.
just try Valorant, ur gonna love it. and its cheaper too
>>2934600Yes, done my weekly so might as well do something else while the cheater wave goes back to premier.>>2934631The artstyle is so ass tho, still I might.
Anyone else noticed that now there are casual lobbies where you get instantly kicked when joining? I guess this is some new measure for bots to prevent being reported by humans
