It almost certainly will get reverted. There's a major backlash against it already and null is a big enough source of subs that CCP can't not listen to them.

Look at scarcity, it might as well have been a nullsec genocide and CCP stuck with it until the game nearly died. They won't make the same mistake again. Null's going to remain broken and EVE Online will just be this sunk cost fallacy kept alive by guys boxing 200 alts in null.
>>
You can argue about minutiae but the fact remains that EO has so much unsolved issues around many fundamental systems that the game will never be good/"fixed". The sheer amount of efficient organization players can muster already defeats any attempts at rebalance and invalidates anything but the biggest and gayest megabloc.
>>
>>2739659
I think it might get reverted a little but not fully. Like how the original Jump changes back in the day were much harsher then got basically nerfed to shit.
Or how Skyhooks were accessible 24/7 originally, and now only have a 1h window.

Omega is only 2.5bil which isn't very hard to make if you actually play the game, or pick it up on sale for $12.

Easy if you know what to do, but it's still slow. 20 hours of Homefronts is enough to buy one month of gametime, or incursions if you're into those. I still don't recommend it though.
>>
>>2774665

The problem isn't that blobs are too big is that they can send their entire blob to ruin midscale fights on the other side of the map in 15 minutes, nobody is allowed to exist that is small remotely near them.
>>

Scouts, cynos and scanners. I have 3 virtue scanners and 5 more regular shit scanners and I feel like I need an extra account for 3 more scanners desu.

Alt characters (not multiboxxing) is much more common and normal.
You use them for all sorts of stuff, industry slots, market slots, research slots, FW alts, PI alts, scanning alts, scanning alts, scanning alts and also scanning alts.
Even having a few low/medium SP characters just parked in different parts of space lets you quickly go to different areas to find content without having to travel. Eve's universe is pretty massive compared to other MMOs so anything you can do to cut down travel time frees up like half of your playtime.

Is multiboxxing 5-10 accounts logged in at the same time a thing?
Sure, but you wont even consider it unless you do specific content.
But you will probably own 2-3 accounts with 3 characters on each without actually logging on them at the same time.

CCP revealed at fanfest a few years ago that the average accounts-per-player is 1.5, most players in this game are just giga casual hiseccers
>>
>>2779738
Per player includes the kind of people who picked up the game once and never came back along with the ultra-casual "I've solo mined/missioned for the last ten years and never even interacted with another player beyond getting geanked" type. Doing anything significant in the game will have you run in to multiboxers.

For example, among incursion runners, roughly 3/4s of the playerbase plays at least two accounts at once. In Brave in nullsec, at least half of players multibox and in PH back in the day, it was even worse. Don't even get me started on wormhole corps, I'm not sure there's a single player in j-space that doesn't multibox in some fashion.

You are correct however in that high sec is the area of the game with the least amount of multiboxing (And consequently the highest amount of actual players vs accounts). At least in high sec, multiboxing only gets you more ISK/hr rather than something essential to functioning like a spare scout in wormhole space.

this is actually just most of the playerbase tbqh

I think you would be suprised just how much of horde was single boxing andys, the way blocs function you don't really "need" alts unless you want to make isk. You don't ever "need" your own cyno because FC will be lighting them for you and moveops will be ran for you, you don't "need" to scout because intel channels exist.

obviously having an alt makes this shit 20x easier but most people literally just dont care about playing remotely optimally
>>
>>2779794
>Don't even get me started on wormhole corps, I'm not sure there's a single player in j-space that doesn't multibox in some fashion.

Trying to do anything in wormholes without a dedicated scanner alt is utterly miserable. Having an alt scanner, preferably with virtues is essentially a mandatory part of living there.

No.

Only reason to do Pirate FW is if you specifically need to farm the Net Resonators yourself for whatever reason it's infested with Chinese botters and seagulls.
Empire FW is fairly good since the expansions/updates over the last few years. Seagulls will be a bit annoying, Battlefields got nerfed so hard no-one does them anymore and a lot of the big FW groups that used to have big fights have all deployed to null to try and scoop up some Dronelands territory.

Caldari is all afk farm bots farming actually worthless LP.
Gallente is an uphill battle so that can be fun if you want to be the Spartans in 300.
Amarr is fairly dead I heard and doesnt really have any main groups.
Minmatar is still the most organised/best but they spend most of their time in nullsec lately.
>>
>>2795119
Sucks too that pirate FW isn't going to be getting any updates anytime soon, devs are all in on the empires. And the stupid military campaigns give you absolutely shit to do on them, I've had every single Amarr objective complete and can't get rewards anymore and just been waiting for objectives to finish so I can start progressing the thing again. At least make it so doing objectives after you've finished hacking your four sites or whatever still gives progress.
>>
>>2795139
>devs are all in on the empires.
Makes sense.
Pirate FW was a cool idea but Insurgencies just didnt turn out as cool as people hoped, but people still really like the Empire FW.
At least changes to the economy have made ships nice and cheap again.
No-one wanted to fight in anything bigger than frigates back when a fitted cruiser was 60mil.
Now you can shitfit one for under 15mil and even if you're fucking broke you can just welp them.

It's impossible to accomplish anything of note without being in a massive bloc. And if you've been playing this game long enough and been taking an active role in the universe, you basically wind up acquainted with every other mover and shaker in the game. I can't show up to a random op anymore without semi-personally knowing both the attackers and defenders and having history with each of them.
>>
>>2798027
True I guess kind of a shame
>>
>>2797994
A lot of the best ways to make isk dont require being in a big bloc anymore so lot of ppl running solo or in a 5man corp with their friends.
FW is pretty ad-hoc though and most serious FW ppl have alts in every militia and just jump to where the gudfites are.
>>
>It's impossible to accomplish anything of note without being in a massive bloc
showing up for blob ops (without pay) doesn't count as accomplishing something

I think under-estimate multi-boxing.
The position many have in these threads is always divided.
Dumb to trust CCP statistics, I'm confident that any player who has been playing eve for at least 2 years has at least 2 accounts. Which is probably 80% of the playerbase.
When I do play, I vary from 5 to 10 accounts.
There was a youtube video of a recent mass multi-boxer who literally had over 80 accounts. The video is deleted, so perhaps he was banned or just concealing.
He was using some sort of external program, that was external to the machines he was running.
He was playing the game like a fucking RTS.
I'm not sure how good the cheat detection is, but I am curious if they have any way to detect players who are using external programs.
Perhaps their ban waves only target the most sloppy multi-boxers, as I feel that at least 2/3rd of the EO player base is using 5 or more accounts.
You almost HAVE to multi-account, as the game is built around ship roles.
You could try to run a solo ship, but the EO solo experience feels horrible.
Then you can team up, but for some reason the game feels less fun when working as a team in a large blob.
>>
>>2807916
Honestly, EVE should've just retooled the game to function as an RTS since that's how most people play the game. There wouldn't be any problem with "multiboxing" if you just controlled all units from a single client and it was something you could seamlessly scale up or down.
>>
>>2807966
AI game generation might be cringe, but maybe I should just generate a knock-off of eve-online but make it play as an RTS.
Ship/Unit counts would probably get absurd if the game went on for too long though, I would have to have a galactic reset back to 0 every few months or something.

Hello vmiggers, I just installed eve. I used to crab on a drake around dominion times and do other stuff in ru corps. Is there a digestible "get into the game" somewhere? I think I want to crab missions on caldari for now again, until I remember the controls.

>>
>>2821419
If you're just looking for a short explanation on how to crab missions in 2026, your drake should still work. You can be even safer by equipping a Micro Jump Drive since mission rats can't stop you from using it and it'll put you 100km away from them, ensuring you can warp out of any situation. As for progression doing missions, the normal progression is Drake -> Raven -> Golem or Drake -> Cerberus -> Tengu if you want something smaller or Drake -> Alligator -> Rattlesnake if you want something exotic. Use whatever missile type the rat is weak against, tailor your tank to match the damage they deal, have fun. Note that a Rattlesnake or Golem will attract gankers over time.

If you just want money, find groups that do incursions or homefronts, both are easy to get into and pay well for high sec.

Different anon here.
Other good strong low SP PVE ships that can do a bit of everything are shit like the Vexor/Arby kind of drone ships, the Caracal/Drake/Raven kind of missile ships, or Praxis.
Praxis has a 9-day skillplan somewhere that gets you strong enough to run wormhole sites, events and 10/10s that might be worth looking at.
Gila & other guristas ships are pretty good but pricy for what you get, well worth being able to fly those too if you can.
Worm is essential for alpha abyssals, Rattle is a proper big-boy endgame subcap and Gila is the one-size-fits-all does-everything memeship.

Do your dailies every day to keep gradually getting SP, do AIR Career Program (like achievements) and you'll get 750k SP finishing all of those, get the 1mil SP recruitment link from someone (or refer yourself) and log on during events for even more SP.
>>

>>
>>2827701
>how do I travel nullsec for small shopping of cheap stuff?
dont, basically.
Buy your stuff in trade hubs. You dont usually shop around in Eve.

Time is money, its worth paying an extra % to just buy everything at the trade hub in one shopping/loot-selling trip than it is to spend an hour flying around a bunch of places to buy it marginally cheaper.

Train for jump clones, alpha gets 1 pretty sure.
That sub-2sec Condor should be a good travel fit.
Put Hyperspatial rigs on it so it warps even faster.
>>
>>2828147
>The one doing the raffle takes significantly more money than he would on a normal sale?
Just like a raffle in RL yeah.
Buy $100 item.
Sell 120 tickets for $1 each.
Pocket the $20 profit.

Hypernet has a lot of scams in it, but ppl use it to trade rare/expensive shit sometimes.
I dont really fuck with it, but it can be fun once in a blue moon to just buy 1 node on a random pirate Battleship or something and once in a while you might win one, but like any gambling the house always wins.

That much is obvious of couse. Somehow the launchers I wanted were not readily available (20 jumps away or in lowsec). Looked like bait, but was nothing I could not afford to loose, so I checked the kills last hour and went in-out.
How would a jumpclone have helped here though, I don't get it.

Ty as well for the advice.

>>2828171
Yeah, I figured, thx. How would a scam look like? Shit items for a very large price?
>>
Lasers hit really hard.
>>
>>2828323
It's not really a scam, it's more a consequence of the seller able to bid on their own item
>100m item
>Goes on hypernet for 10 nodes of 14m
>Seller buys 5 nodes
>Bidders buy 5 nodes
>If the seller wins the 50/50, they get their item back, the 70m they spent on nodes back, and the 70m from other bidders, they turned 170m to 240m
>If they lose they lose their item but keep the 140m from the bids, they turned 170m to 140m

Over a long enough time period, the seller always wins. In practice the flat fee on every bid eats away at some profits, that's why it's pretty much always huge items up for raffle.

Watched the map yesterday, does not seem like there is a lot of ganking going on yesterday, but I already feel I am gonna regret it, there is like 15 ship kills in obanen & leikuri today in the last hour. Checked zkill, and its all ganks.

>Full clear the new rogue drone fabricator site
>Pays out 3b ISK for six hours of work
>>
>>2837675
I heard about em here and there. What are they exactly?
What ships do ppl run them in?
Is it soloable or does it require 5 alts like all the other new shit?
>>
>>2837767
It's a site that spawns 100 waves of rogue drones that do nothing but EM/TH damage. You can't really solo all 100 waves, but you can get pretty far with the right ships.

The site has four difficulty tiers determined by how many ships and what types are inside. Easiest tier only lets you take around 10 cruisers or so (Less if they're T2, or battlecruisers, or battleships) and pays out 3-5b depending on what class of wormhole you run them in. Hardest tier is for capital ships like dreads and faxes and spawns a massive amount of drones. Pays out up to 40b ISK if you clear all 100 waves at the highest difficulty in C5/C6 space (Or around 24b if you do the site in C1-C3 space, just as an estimation).

The site's pretty retarded for risk/reward though. You only get the loot if you kill the structure that holds it between waves, and doing so ends the site. So if you start a wave and someone drops you, they can kill you, finish the wave, and loot the site in your place. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem and just the cost of doing business, but because clearing all 100 waves can take around 5-6 hours, it's possible to sit in the site for a long time and lose the loot plus all the ships you brought in.

Damage inside is very split between everyone in the site, and rats swap frequently. Trying to multibox beyond two or three boxes as logistics is way too much effort. Logistics have the hardest time in the site playing whack a mole because the rats all do heavy damage (Between 250-750 DPS depending on ship class, and you can't sig tank any of it).

I've heard one group used Guardians and Harbingers to clear up to wave 73, not sure what they got paid for it. Because the damage is very high but the DPS splits, I'm guessing that trying to solo or a very small fleet can't really handle it all. Loot for the site is weighted so that clearing wave 50 only gets you like 25% of the total site value, it's the last 30 waves that pay out the most.
>>
>>2837839
One thing that is kind of nice for the site though is that finding a single site can last your fleet hours. In theory, we used to roll our static to run C4 sites, and each roll would be a new wormhole that may or may not have sites up, or have hot connections, or whatever. With this site, we roll our exit and find this one site and can run for the rest of the night. No more rage rolling or ratting time lost to it, we're engaged from the minute we walk into the site until we're done running for the night. It really just needs its payouts adjusted so incursions in high sec don't beat it in payout.
>>
>>2837839
>You can't really solo all 100 waves, but you can get pretty far with the right ships.
So people take a Marauder/Rattlesnake, go until they hit a wave they have to overheat in, loot it and warp out with a couple bil?
>>
>>2837839
It's quite good isk/hr relative to character for up to 3 marauders in low class. Auto-targeting missile Golems clear it very efficiently.
>>
>>2838160
More or less. You go until you get bored or panic, but cutting the site short drops the ISK/hr significantly. I think if you were looking to do the site for income, you'd really want to hit at least wave 50 consistently and wave 70+ would be where you want to make at least half the site's value.

>>2838213
I don't know if I'd want to put that much ISK on grid for two or three hours for it to recoup its costs. It might work, but the risk to reward ratio is far too skewed in my opinion.
>>
>>2838413
You only need to complete 1 fab to wave 60 or so to pay for 3 marauders and it only takes about an hour. Nothing in the site scrams so you can just put a boosher on a perch and the moment you get a new sig you can leave. Or better yet don't, and watch all the tackle get evaporated by the sites.

Marauders aren't that expensive anymore. You can do a competent fit for 1.2b and Mid-grade crystals are cheap as shit (like 300m for the set) and almost guaranteed to escape even if the Marauder dies.

I want to jump into this game but I don't want to/have time to play multiple account aka multiboxing, do any of you guys here only play on a single account?
>>
>>2838532
People multibox because it saves time. A lot of time.
>>
>>2838532
I play a single account to have fun in the game. I multibox to fund my single account activities.

From PvP to PvE, I'd rather run a single box and fully focus on what I'm doing. Abyssal Deadspace, mission running, DED sites, all of those are fine to do with a single box. More boxes in PvP makes you more effective, but every box you add splits your attention and for smaller gang stuff, it's fine to have one character backing a small fleet.

Where multiboxing really dominates is the economy. Multiboxers make far more ISK/hr than a single box because they can run multiple activities at the same time or fill up a fleet on their own. Every additional character is extra industry and PI slots. It's hard to argue that EVE hasn't reached a point where the game expects you to multibox or buy PLEX to be economically viable, at least in terms of being able to continually buy ships and items from the market to replace your losses. So if you don't multibox, your choices are to buy PLEX for real cash and trade it for ISK, grind like hell to pay for the things you like, or do stuff where you never lose a ship so you don't have to spend money to replace it.

Hi, I'm semi-oldfag and I want to play the game again.
Last time I played the game was back in 2012, and I think I played something like 10-12 hours total.
I want to play again, because I see they have opened that Exordium baby kiddie pool for new players.
Can I get some realistic expectations on what I'm about to play? I always liked this game, I just always felt "late" because most corps are lowsec bandits, or blobbed gigacorps.
I really just want to learn how to play the game properly instead of literally do nothing but ratting for 10 hours straight.
Genuine and honest post.

Exordium has very little content, but it is completely safe. You won't make hardly any money in there but you can fly as much as you want without anyone bothering you.

If you're wanting to learn how to play for real, go join an NPSI fleet and fly with them. Most of them hand out ships, so if you meet them in a shuttle, you have nothing to lose. You can learn how to fly with a fleet and how to do PvP/PvE from there.

It’s been like 5/6 years since the Jamal Heresy. Can I join All-Out back finally?

Space Albion Online with a 10x bigger map and more shit to do.
Worst case, play it for free for a few months.
You can do basically whatever you want in Eve, limited only by your creativity and game knowledge (as in intel, geographical/political knowledge and knowing when to run and when to fight).

In general the game is in a relatively healthy place the last few years. Nothing as huge as the glory days of 2012-2014, but still much more alive than it was in the dark years of 2018~2023.

The only thing that returns anything close to decent ISK in Exordium is blitzing T0 abyss or running homefronts. Missions pay out next to nothing, mining sites yield half of what high sec ores do, and even homefronts only have half the payout you'd normally get.

>>2844673

exordium teaches you the tropes, but it also teaches you some really bad habits like never checking dscan or flying shitfits.
you can spend as much time as you want there, but you should really move outside newbsec eventually.
all those horror stories you may have heard are just stories, the game got significantly more solo-friendly than 15 years ago, and gankers wont bother unless you have hundreds of PLEXes worthy of cargo on you or are flying a blingy fit.

>>
>>2866940
No, the monoliths appear in a few places.
There's a few sightseeing locations where they just float alone in space like landmarks, maybe some obscure lore post about them you can dig up from the mid-2000's internet n such.
Supposedly there are still 2 scannable sites out there no-one's ever found, but whether that's true or CCP just talking out of their ass is up to you to decide.
Then there are some that roam around like Tom's Shuttle and others.
>>
>>2869632
Having spent like 2 years scanning everything, those two "undiscovered" sites are probably gated behind a wacky impossible to guess sequence of things needed to unlock them, specifically so devs can brag about how they still dont need to update content because theres still new stuff out there.
>>
>>2869641
More likely they're just fucking bugged and nobody ever fixed it.

can i stay inside exordium indefinitely until i feel ready to go to jita?
>>
>>2895860
Get out of the noob zone immediately. As long as you stay in hisec the space is basically as safe as Exordium. Just don't mine or do abyss withing like 5 jumps of Jita (elevated risk of ganking). or carry expensive stuff (especially PLEX) in untanked slow ships. Ideally, also join a corp outside of HS that teaches and does small gang stuff with noobs (avoid EveUni, nullsec gigablocs or generally any large group that is led by some AFK bureaucracy that you don't get to personally interact with every time you/they are playing).

Now is also the perfect time to stop and think if you want to commit to a 23-y-o MMO that is more or less abandoned by its devs. I'd recommend against it.
>>
>>2895860
>stay in Exordium
leave after a couple of days, once you've done the career agent stuff
>to Jita
dont go to Jita.
it's where ppl buy/sell stuff in BULK and where you buy rare/expensive stuff, but you can shop at any of the hubs for your day to day shopping.
Also, Jita's general area is overcrowded and fairly dangerous (for highsec).
There's nothing honestly worth even doing in Caldari space short of going to Jita, which you can eventually just leave an alt character parked there for Jita shopping.

Depending what content you do, move to where you can find that content.
For most stuff you want a quiet, low traffic backwater maybe 10+ jumps away from a trade hub.
The # of people in Local Chat is how many ppl are in system with you.
Ideally you want Local chat to be almost empty except for you, for most PVE.

600-700m ISK/hr is easily made doing homefronts with a multibox, in HQ incursions it can net you 1-1.5b/hr. It's annoying and like a second job to do that though.

It's also why shit is so expensive, someone multiboxing still usually plays a single character for fun and that's where their income goes. But they're printing far more ISK than a singleboxer, so prices rise to match them.
>>
>>2912671
>>2913087
i was doing reactions with 6 accounts
>>
>>2913126
I used to do PI and reactions to make ISK, and while it really does pay well for having to do little work, shipping all of it out and into a wormhole once a month or so was way too much work. Now I can just sit a fleet in Amarr, Rens, and Dodixie in cheap ships, fly out and print ISK, and then log off without having to do anything more to make that money.

It'd dumb, homefronts and incursions generate way too much ISK for their relative risk, but removing them wouldn't really fix the problem because entrenched groups in C6 wormholers and Pochven farmers dwarf them still. The only solution is to remove multiboxes, but that would just kill the game outright.

Like the newest site CCP made for wormholes is pretty good since it's not easy to multibox, but it gets ignored because it pays less than multiboxing something boring does. It'll always be like this in EVE too.
>>
I just like burners cuz they pay stupidly good, you can do it in cheap ships and they're actually fun.
Abyssals are OK too but I dont feel like doing them all the time.
>>
>>2913168
oh you're the homefront guy
i do them sometimes but i find them to be pretty fiddly to multibox after they made them harder
which ones do you do?
>>
>>2913372
Dread Assault, Emergency Aid, and Abyssal Artifact Recovery. I used to do the three man site that needed you to neut turrets, but it's better to do triple frigate abyss instead. Same box requirements, better pay although it's more effort.
>>
>>2913812
I do not like that triple frig for abyss is such a blatant multibox sop - 3 frigs is a quarter the price of what a cruiser needs to be kitted out with to do the same, for 3x the loot. Makes running solo feel so inferior.

Not that im blaming anyone but FG, its just another push to multibox myself.

Also the fact that they havent done anything to update abyss makes me sad. It could be so much more...
>>
>>2917958
If they ever did update it they could make it marginally harder, so people die 1/1000 runs more often. They're already completely reverse engineered and too safe now as it is
>>
>>2918095
Abyss results in a vastly disproportionate amount of modules lost by isk value compared to almost any other activity in the game. t5 and 6 abyss is responsible for almost 12% of total isk value lost in game according to the numbers given at the fanfest before last. It is one of the highest risk activities in the game, to the point it's not even actually worth doing.
I can blast Havens with 3 Stormbringers and facefuck the Capital Shipyard escalations with a Super and make nearly twice as much isk as you're likely to pull out of t6 Abyss with essentially no risk. The only danger is getting extraordinarily unlucky with a filament or wormhole fleet killing the Storms. The Super is never in any danger, because it's only on grid for ~45 seconds. The only way to lose it is if I do something colossally stupid (the capital escalations do not expire unlike regular ones, so if it's sketch you just leave it until it's safe).
The devs and community at large seem to have this kind of cognitive dissonance when it comes to isk. There's SO MANY activities in the game that produce more isk than that with less risk and less effort, but there's a kind of weird groupthink among people who don't engage in the activity that everything should be nerfed to be in line of the value proposition of someone single boxing ishtars.

CRAB beacons are a great example. Crab beacons fucking suck. You could literally double the value you get from them and they would STILL suck. c5 Wormhole isk is the minimum viable level to be considered good isk, which is only about 7-10b a week depending on site spawns. And even that's incredibly more dangerous than just doing Havens for less isk.
>>
>>2918296
Really, most activities should stop paying raw ISK beyond a small trickle. Instead, everything should pay out more in materials and trade goods whose value is subject to supply and demand. Do that an overfarmed and overvalued things in the game will naturally adjust their value to match risk/reward.
>>
>>2918318
I agree in principle but that ship sailed long ago.
>>
>>2918296
The irony is abyss is high risk for $$$, but a part of the reason for that is being able to multibox them. If you could only fly a single cruiser, i suspect it would fibd a reasonable payout level.
>>2918318
>>2918331
Yea, it would be easy for them to implement, as thats basically PI/mining right now, but complaints from botters would shut it down.
>>
>>2918431
>If you could only fly a single cruiser, i suspect it would fibd a reasonable payout level.
Currently the best profit in Cruiser abyss comes from doing t6 Firestorms. T6 Firestorm capable cruisers start at around 12b and the most expensive I've seen was 26b.
And for risking that to both ganks and DC deaths, you make a whopping ~800-900m an hour!

Abyss is not good isk even before you account for the risk involved. The amount of isk you'd have to make in order to justify that level of risk would be so high that allowing people to just chain run them is a non-starter. Basically the entire system would have to be redesigned.
Basically, right now high tier abyss is purely the realm of a handful of autismos who do it purely for the love of the game. In actual reality it's good for starter isk at low tiers, but the difficulty and risk very quickly outscales the reward, and honestly I think that's intended design. It's designed to push you out to other activities eventually.
>>
>>2918431
All it is is repeating the idea of scarcity. You'd see nullsec materials drop to being neigh worthless while things you'd harvest in lowsec and elsewhere would spike in price. As other anon said though, that ship has since sailed; the people playing EVE wouldn't tolerate anything that'd make their space more valuable.

The really sad thing is that it'd make an excellent conflict driver. Anyone doing the same content as you is a competitor, meaning killing them reduces supply and increases the value of the materials you make.
>>
>>2918652
>meaning killing them reduces supply and increases the value of the materials you make
does this matter when you could just spend that time grinding instead
>>
>>2919970
It depends. Spending time hunting people instead of farming ISK? Likely a net loss. Your bored corpmates shitting on anyone who dares enter your region of space and runs off with a resource that's primarily acquired there? Big benefit to you. There's also the fact that sometimes, you just want to hunt down and shoot people yourself, and this provides a bigger incentive to do so.

Worst case scenario, Tranquility becomes like Serenity and there's absolutely no material scarcity due to no conflict, leading to CCP directly selling ships through the NES. This ideally will never happen.
>>
>>2918457
>Abyss is not good isk even before you account for the risk involved
Mostly this, though you can find nice balances and middle grounds.
T1 Hawk runs makes 50-70mil/hr in a 25mil fit.
You can also take that same fit into T2s and T3s if you want, you'll just go from never dying to dying sometimes but making more money.
>>
hey guys slamjam here. I recommend everyone quit the game and hit the gym instead to stasify your grinding goals. all you doing is changing some database values on some icelandic server and paying for the priviledge to do so. its a waste of time when you could be grinding yourself up instead. just some execs sitting around deciding how long it should take for you to get 1m isk per timeframe so you can fly around to blow up some dude grinding his isk so he can do the same its a waste of life

Requires no implants, only problem really is that assfrigs are kinda shitty in general. They should get a unique bonus like 50% MWD bonus when scrammed, then its 1:1 parity with sig bloom and they don't just roll over and fucking die to some shithead in a malediction
>>
>unique retard gimmick to save a shittily designed ship
why is this always the solution

MWDs should just have a toggle mode where they can work as MWDs or ABs.

i got into a retri recently and it's a fun little ship, damage is great with the range to match, but boy does it just die if anything catches it
two mid slots is not a good time and it's just not as fast as i was expecting somehow

fit it exactly the same as the T1 Worm fit except without the drones.
Rockets, shield booster, shield extender, AB, cap battery, dmg mods in lows, shield resists/missile rigs.
All tech 2 stuff is more than fine and goes really far if you multibox or have friends. Solo it can run T2s, though blitzing T1s is safer/easier/more reliable.
T3s are possible solo in a Retri/Hawk but you expect to die in some rooms mostly from timeout.

MWDs, thats not important in pvp.

Retri is one of the better ones. The Jag literally just can't fill all its slots without an exorbitant amount of bling because it has no fitting.
>>
stop trying to fit 3 shield boosters then retard

that's cause its all ess safe spaces

check your wallet for the past week and see if someone sent you 0 isk
some guy was doing some sort of exploit that let him see wallet balance by doing this, and did to the tune of a million characters

Best case it was just gathering data. Worst case he actually has some way to act on that data through a similar vulnerability that FC hasn't ever found. The fact that sending thousands of 0 isk donations in an hour doesn't automatically throw up flags is a pretty grim picture when it comes to FC's security desu.

Yeah I didnt get that thankfully.

I've been playing 15 years and never heard of anyone ever getting their account hacked though. Not once.
In other MMOs everyone at least personally knows 1-2 friends, guildmates or a friend-of-friend that had their account cleared out by some cheeky fucker.
