Rogue Core is pretty fun and has a crack-like addiction level, but suffers from some pretty glaring issues. The game itself is salvageable, but if they don't fix it fast I don't think it's ever gonna have a player count even close to its predecessor.
rogue core lacking engineer/a class with a turret they get from the start makes me never want to play. 80-90% of my time is as engi and i love turret classes.

It's really gay and stupid to slowly roll away on a 2mph machine that is screaming like a dog while you make a mental note of the side objectives you should collect later. Extraction feels the flattest as well in these modes, which is a shame, because a tense extraction where you're really not sure if everyone is going to make it are when the game is at its most fun.

Dash should almost never leave your loadout because of it. I'm sure this has been said before, but one of the big appeals of DRG is the terrain. Being full destructible and moldable to what you need in a situation and being destroyed in the cross fire by both you and the bugs. The fact that terrain basically doesn't matter at all in Rogue Core is a big contributor to it being shit.
