You see it in all their little tier list videos and other rankings.

1) The lower your DPI, the higher your in-game sensitivity. Games increase your sensitivity by decreasing view resolution (or increasing view aliasing). You are less accurate when you introduce view aliasing.

2) Increasing your DPI reduces overall latency and makes your mouse response time more consistent by narrowing the upper and lower bounds.

CS actually isn't that aim heavy.
Most of your kills comes from crosshair placement and pressing m1

Increasing view aliasing and having a higher and less consistent response time negatively affects crosshair placement and pressing mouse1.

most pros are 800 DPI. This is mostly preference. The issue is ur monitor hz. the max 400 DPI can work with is 1k hz etc. Some people prefer the pixel skipping type mouse movement for easier lineups and keeping your mouse more gridlocked to horizontal movement. It's easier to draw straight lines on low DPI
>>
>>2846443
>This is mostly preference
I just demonstrated this is NOT preference.
>the max 400 DPI can work with is 1k hz etc.
DPI has nothing to do with frequency. You saying this demonstrates you have absolute no idea what you're talking about. DPI is nothing but sensitivity, it's a subdivision of the native sensor resolution.
>Some people prefer the pixel skipping type mouse movement for easier lineups
If that was true people would tell you to set your windows sensitivity past the 6th notch. Nobody recommends that or prefers pixel skipping because this is only ever a negative for a game requiring precision over anything else.
The first gif literally demonstrates why this is bad.
You are actually mind-numbingly retarded and uneducated on this subject to have an opinion.

Why the fuck can't this game's devs prevent cheaters? Like is it because the netcode isn't 100% server authoritative and lets client authority happen? Or is it because they can't protect memory resources of the process from being manipulated by another process?

Like when you're spectating, players have a glowing outline. So I imagine there's a boolean variable somewhere or a state tracker that turns that on and off. I'm speculating, but i imagine this is how the cheats work basically is by getting that feature on when it's not supposed to be. Why the actual fuck can they not patch this to prevent faggots from ruining my 30 minutes of casual play time I get from cheaters shitting up the game?

You're probably that same autist that rants about premier ratings constantly. Pretty obvious since you wanted to post that crap at the beginning of the new thread.
>DPI has nothing to do with frequency. You saying this demonstrates you have absolute no idea what you're talking about. DPI is nothing but sensitivity, it's a subdivision of the native sensor resolution.
I mean MR mouse autist try consistently hitting 8k with 400dpi compared to 3200 dpi. You're not getting the advantage of the input lag decrease since your hz is harder to max out with lower dpi. The mouse simply isn't generating enough data points. The mouse latency will only get the advantage of 1k+ when ur moving it really fast giving the mouse a more inconsistent feel.
Like why do you autistically bitch about everything else but not this? and guess what snax is still using it because this has no effect on the click latency. Even with 400 DPI the inconsistent polling rate will not effect his clicks at all and they will be ultra fast.
It's all preference bro. You're probably that same autistic retard.
>>
>>2846252
this actually shows the benefit of low DPI also. The mouse is more stable and makes nice straight horizontal lines that is great for CS when you are mostly pre aiming with stable crosshair movement and then peeking into the opponent without moving the mouse much(and only in a horizontal movement).
>>2846256
This is more of your bait troll shit. Are you a gamedev? What game engines use this method? CS uses raw input and it simply just takes your raw DPI input or something and multipllies it by the yaw numbers or whatever? What the fuck is view resolution and view aliasing? Can you link me something explaining? I don't think quake 3 or CS use that method or what fucking game you are talking about.
>>2846262
It also makes your mouse less stable and more likely to move from small movements u didnt want. Players who like 400 DPI like the natural filter it adds to their aim. Also it unironically makes your mouse stop faster for flicks. This is because it takes longer for ur arm/wrist to fully stop after a fast flick and still have some extra motion. Low DPI will not pick up on this extra motion and actually make your flicks stop faster and more on point.

TLDR It's all preference. Shut the fuck up man. Snax likes high polling rate for low latency clicks, even though it makes his latency for mouse movements all over the place due to low dpi with high polling rate having super all over the place random latency.
But guess what, he doesn't give a shit about this because he can aim and all these small ass differences hardly matter and are just preference, but you're autistic ass black and white thinking mind can not understand the nuances of why pro players still choose low DPI.
>>
>>2846629
>CS uses raw input and it simply just takes your raw DPI input or something and multipllies it by the yaw numbers or whatever?
I'm doing research into how game sensitivities work and its nothing at all what you are saying man. It works by the yaw angle. quake works the same exact way. The yaw angle in CS is 0.022.
1 sensitivity will move the yaw angle by 0.022 per mouse tick.
4 sensitivity will move the yaw angle by 0.088
I think this is what u are actually trying to say but using the completely wrong words? This has absolutely nothing to do with "view aliasing" or "view resolution" its simply how much the angle of the camera moves per mouse tick.
Either way using a sensitivity like 400 DPI and 4 ingame and moving in skips of 0.088 really isnt that bad, and can help more accurately lock into certain nade lineups etc(what i meant earlier wasnt straight pixel skipping, but just being able to steadily lock into an exact pixel for a lineup and not accidently go off it etc ropz talks about this in a video of his). You're probably not going to see much skipping until you use a sensitivity like 10+ or so in game. Then your angle will change by .22 degrees every mouse tick.
So yea if you want to be full autistic you can use the highest dpi possible and the lowest in game sens possible so you are doing the smallest angle jumps per mouse tick possible. So by using .5 sens u can do 0.011 etc. This will make the game engine be able to view more and more possible angles.

You can be a retard autist and think this is technically BETTER when it has such little factor on your actual aim compared to your actual ability to aim. You can also be a stubborn autist in the other direction and I can go on about how this is not stable and bad for a tac FPS game like CS and you should aim to get a more gridlike set of view angles in the game.

It's all preference man. As long as your not using a non native DPI for your mouse and 10+ sens in the engine its all preference.

Both of the most famous and top aimers use 800 DPI. If any DPI is "objectively" the best it's probably 800 (balanced middle ground between stable gridish filtered mouse movement and input latency).
400 and 1600 are fine too. Just depends on your preference. Find me top aimers that use 3200 (best latency but also most sensitive(yea youll be able to smoothly view more angles from your games camera but ull have a harder time stopping ur mouse or keeping it still if u like caffeine/stimulants minor hand tremors will fuck up ur aim)).

yes the main issues are memory exploits and the only real way to get around that is cloud gaming but that introduces its own problems like latency and cheats are clientsided any visual indicators are generated from the cheats themselves

the thing with cheats is that its an arms race where the cheater always has the advantage
VAC needs to know exactly what program/code is being executed vs a cheat programmer just needs to know where and what to exploit and then they can easily create a novel cheat over and over again
understand that just because you can easily intuit that someone is cheating a program cannot and it can only read data and make a decision once exact parameters are met else it risks a false ban which is a BIG no no
an example would be the blatant spinner when it was rampant
from what i know and speculating is that the "exploit" that valve patched was cheats modifying the packets and values vacnet looks at like crosshair position yaw speed etc to bad data
this is why you can easily see that someone is blatantly spinning but the bad data that vacnet is looking at points to the player being legit
i think this is also why the new vacnet overwatch switched to videoclips so cheaters cant tell what values are being looked at for the vacnet training

i truly believe valve are doing their best in preventing cheaters but it is an impossible task and honestly i think trust factor is already doing alot to keep most games clean
at the end of the day just like there are criminals in the world there are going to be cheaters in games and if you really wanted less cheaters that badly there are other options with more human intervention + kernel like faceit and i wont even get into kernel because all the other kernel AC games have cheaters
>>
>>2848141
but all cheats have to access the cs2 process to read/write memory. there are only so many ways to bypass detection for this so eventually VAC should be able to catch this reliably
>>
>>2848141
>the thing with cheats is that its an arms race where the cheater always has the advantage
People say this yet we still have to deal with the same 100% headshot spinbotters we did back in 2010.
We should care about those guys reading out map information from their RAM after we got rid of the crap that would've been caught by Punkbusters
>>
>>2846252
>>2847763
800 DPI is best because it's the nicest for desktop use.
Imagine tinkering with your DPI settings every time you boot up a game.... yikes
>>
>>2848282
cheaters are always going to exist and i believe VAC in its current state is also always going to be able to be bypassed 100% of the time because they don't want to go kernel which is fine imo and a bit overkill because even kernel ac is exploitable

feels like they are investing alot into vacnet and i think it is the most promising route in getting rid of a large amount of cheaters specifically aim assist + triggerbot which is what the worst cheaters rely on the most and i think alot of them would stop playing if they had to just use walls only
walls are a bit iffy to deal with tho because of how one would go about assessing if someone is using walls vacnet-wise unless its as blatant as you can get like aiming and shooting multiple times at the head through multiple layers of walls which if youre actually that retarded then i dont know what to say but also what do you expect from someone using cheats
and then there are cheats like DMA radar which i feel is near impossible or actually impossible to detect if you use it properly
>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hdE1V8B8nU
>>
>>2848486
"gamesense" is a human element
a program doesnt interpret data like a human brain does
if vacnet is capable of determining someone is using walls via "gamesense" and again outside of super blatant walling that would very impressive and i also certainly wouldnt let it auto ban people without manual review due to the high chance of false bans

why does cs2 run better than any other game?
>>
>>2848943
Even though the game really has some terrible dips during high intensity gameplay it's still incredible how good it looks yet runs at 300fps+ easily.
Literally no other game manages to combine this. They either have a very cartoony look like Valorant/Apex/Overwatch or the performance is just straight up worse. No other big multiplayer game has these physics either.
>>
>>2848943
Most modern engines are now using real time GPU heavy effects on maps that are massive that support day and night cycles.
Source 2 is still using baked lighting which is very fast. However, the downside is map sizes are astronomically large and compiling these maps takes a very long time even though Source 2 maps are typically small.
>>
>>2847706
>I literally uploaded a graph showing that higher DPI reduces overall latency and narrows the upper and lower bounds making your response times more consistent.
It will only be consistent with a high polling rate 4k+ if you're using 1600 DPI or better. I was proving to you how you are wrong about hz and dpi not being related at all
>Read the graph you brain damaged retard. This makes the mouse more responsive and accurate when you're moving normally, not 'really fast'.
Which graph? I'm not talking about accuracy. When you're using a low DPI with a high polling rate the response time on the sensor will be inconsistent. This is basic mouse knowledge dude.
>Wrong. You literally CANNOT click on that characters head in the example you fucking moron. NOBODY EVER is EVER suggesting you introduce pixel skipping. There are better ways to achieve angle snapping than skipping pixels you fucking moron.
lol u dont even know the origins of that example man I remember that site back in the day. It's to show the differences of both. Not to say that one is better. And yea to recreate that example your gonna need 40 DPI and like an ingame sens of 80+ in the quake engine. I literally said this only becomes a problem at 400 DPI in cs2 if you have 10+ sens in the engine retard.
>Even CS. (See webm)
Yea i literally explained how this works and how yaw angles work in
>>2846703
and that webm. to achieve that on 400 DPI ur probably going to need 10+ sens.
>
>WRONG, that's what aliasing achieves you brain damaged retard. By reducing aliasing all you're doing is reducing view aliasing. Any "small movements u didn't want" are AMPLIFIED with aliasing you RETARD.
Dude there is no "aliasing" thats not a term for this. I explained exactly how it works in my other post. You don't know what you're talking about. Sensitivity in game has nothing to do with any of these aliasing terms. It simply multiplies your sensitivity by the yaw factor to decide how much the camera moves per mousetic
>>
>>2847724
Here you go being a retard going on about windows sensitivity when it has no input in cs2. Cs2 uses raw input. THe mouse ticks are decided purely by your DPI not windows sens. You have absolutely no argument and have no clue how sensitivity works in game engines.
"aliasing" is some made up term you keep using that has nothing to do with sens. "pixel skipping" is an incorrect term to explain angle skipping/angle granularity. I explained how it works in
>>2846703
>>2847763
I explained why he did it that way in a technical explanation.
>>2846575
>>2846629
Very simple man. He wants low click latency, but likes the feel of 400 dpi (extra stability). There are no top aimers that have 3200 DPI for a reason man. The best aimers have 800 DPI. If you want the least ammount of angle granularity (the correct term) go be an autist and use 3200 DPI with .1 ingame engine sens or whatever. It's not going to make you any better, but it will let you view as many angles as possible in the game. I explained all this. 400-1600 DPI is the same range for good aim. Anything lower than 400 probably will become too gridy with too much of a smooth filter feeling. 3200+ will pick up too many minor flaws in ur mousepad or muscle tremors/anxiety etc and fuck up your aim a lot. 400 800 1600 are all great DPIs and it's preference in which one you pick. If anyone is tech illiterate its you for suggesting 3200.
>>2848471
yea 800 DPI is the most common for a reason. Like i explained earlier it supplies a great middle ground of not too sensitive, but not too high latency. Great for desktop use also.
>>2848484
That's a workable sens if you're an aggressive awper. High sens can be pretty beast for fast paced awp styles. Juse use whatever DPI you're comfortable with its niche preference with very small affect on your aiming.

Sorry man but you tried to bait an argument and lost again. Two losses in a row. First with your rank rating bullshit. Now with your DPI misinfo.
>>
>>2849464
I think you should probably think about something else than this game, after all it's just a gambling enabler for kids.
>>
>>2849544
I'm addicted and I don't open cases ;)
>>
>>2849464
i also use 800 dpi because its the perfect speed on desktop for me

also for arguments sake lets say 1600 and 3200 does infact make your mouse more pixel accurate
the only situations that i can think of where that would even give you an edge is like a super long range angle where the head is literally like 3 pixels wide and by that point bullet spread rng is more the determinant factor of whether you land the shot or not vs you making the pixel perfect shot
and even if you were able to place the most perfect centered shot because you decided to play on 3200 how much percentage are you actually shaving off from the spread i doubt it would be that significant
playing in 3200 isnt going to automatically make you aim better just like how playing in 800 just because the best aimers use it also isnt going to make you aim better
just pick whatever dpi you want aslong as its within your mouses native ranges
the only important factor in a mouse is making sure the sensor doesnt spin out when you move it too fast and thats pretty much a nonexistent problem in modern mice
>>
>>2849417
>It will only be consistent with a high polling rate 4k+ if you're using 1600 DPI or better.
You should be using 1600 DPI regardless of polling rate. Again, nobody is talking about polling rate but you.
>When you're using a low DPI with a high polling rate the response time on the sensor will be inconsistent. This is basic mouse knowledge dude.
I still don't know why you're telling me this. At no point have I said anything to the contrary.
>Not to say that one is better.
It LITERALLY shows that higher DPI is better by showing the extremes. There isnt a SINGLE scenario in existence were pixel skipping is preferred.
>Dude there is no "aliasing" thats not a term for this.
If you blow up a low resolution image, by multiplying each pixel, the image will be more ALIASED compared to a high resolution image.
View ALIASING is the exact same concept. By increasing your in game sens you are decreasing the view angles which adds view aliasing by "skipping pixels" (retard phrase).
>>
>>2849464

Yea i brought it and then u went on saying they arent related at all when they actually are related.
>It LITERALLY shows that higher DPI is better by showing the extremes. There isnt a SINGLE scenario in existence were pixel skipping is preferred.
Yea i explained how using the lowest in game sens possible with the highest DPI possible will let you view the most ammount of angles. But autistically having these superior settings isnt going to make your aim better.
>If you blow up a low resolution image, by multiplying each pixel, the image will be more ALIASED compared to a high resolution image.
Dude
>View ALIASING is the exact same concept. By increasing your in game sens you are decreasing the view angles which adds view aliasing by "skipping pixels" (retard phrase).
view aliasing is a retard phase too. The camera is being rotated by an angle not pixels. Yea you are skipping angles, but like >>2849752
says there is so few situations where this would matter. and you would need to be playing on a pretty high ingame sens like 10+... It's an outlier situation and a bad argument.

Your autistic theoretical angle granularity advantage of using the highest DPI is autistic af. Even if a lower DPI has a worse technical angle granularity someone can still like the feel of it better. You can like a more griddy type mouse movements with more spaced out angles per mouse count.
For example go to your own post
>>2846252
This site was used to show the differences and find a DPI you like not say one is better than the other. Go on that website and try drawing perfect straight lines across the screen. It's much easier on low DPI. Some people prefer this more gridy stable almost natural mouse filter like feeling to their aim. It's not inherently worse for aiming because it's worse theoretically autist.
>>
>>2849865
>Your mouse should be on the 6th out of 11th notch in windows YES OR NO. Don't cop out and say anything about raw input.
CS2 has raw input, but yea I get your point playing around with this could cause quantization/rounding problems due to the windows sens multipliers.
>There is no "extra stability". Youre just saying shit without backing anything up.
Like I said the quake vid you posted literally proves this. Each mouse count corresponds to less angular movement. It's a subjective feeling/stability feeling or whatever. It's preference. Some people prefer this feeling. Yea it's technically inferior when it comes to viewing as many angles as possible, but that's irrelevant to what someone prefers to aim and play on. Like I said plenty of players prefer a more jagged/pixely feel to their mouse and aim better with it.
>The point is that there is NO REASON NOT TO and you havent given a SINGLE argument why you shouldn't.
That you like how it feels and aim better on it. Simple.
>any modern sensor only has SNR / tracking errors at absolute absurd DPI values (> 16k). 3200 is a very safe option.
yea yea you're probably right here too. I mean everything you are saying is theoretically correct. You will achieve the most finest quantization in the game engine by minmaxing out high DPI and low sens values. But this does not mean its objectively better.
>>2846252
I don't understand how you don't look at this and understand that someone might like the more spaced out griddy angles of a lower DPI. It gives you a more stable feeling that tons of CS players prefer. They are not being "tech illiterate retards" as you claim because they like the feel of 800 DPI better. They aren't being retards falling for placebo either. It's literally a different feel that they prefer. It's not giving them any real competitive disadvantages.
Your technically correct theoretical advantage does not give any real advantage in actual real gameplay. It's just pure autism to argue that.

It's so hard for your thick stubborn autistic ass skull to understand that someone might prefer it being easier to draw straight lines and make perfect horizontal movements in a game like counterstrike without accidentally changing making a vertical movement.

I could make a whole argument about how how high DPI in counterstrike is bad and you're a retard for using it since you're mostly placing your crosshair head level for preaims and then making a horizontal adjustment by incorrectly using this site for my arguments sake. Neither is right or wrong, use what you like and don't come in shaming others for not using 1600/3200
>>
>>2850166
>Yea i brought it and then u went on saying they arent related at all when they actually are related.
It's not at all related. Regardless of your polling rate you should be using at least 1600.
>But autistically having these superior settings isnt going to make your aim better.
Lower latency and more control can only be a good thing and I havent seen anything to suggest otherwise.
>view aliasing is a retard phase too.
And yet you have nothing to suggest that is better. View aliasing is the perfect description of it and you don't even have a counter-argument.
>there is so few situations where this would matter.
Why are you conveniently forgetting the latency aspect to this? At 240hz you're erasing multiple frames of latency, you're reducing the bounds of the latency, AND you're increasing precision.
You still havent listed a SINGLE reason not to use this config.

Why are you repeating this when I have already proven you wrong? It's demonstrating that view aliasing causes you to MISS.
NOBODY HAS EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND SUGGESTED "PIXEL SKIPPING" IS A GOOD THING. If you want straight lines you use ANGLE SNAPPING you fucking retard.
>>
>Like I said the quake vid you posted literally proves this.
YOU USE ANGLE SNAPPING AS A SOLUTION YOU TECH ILLITERATE RETARD NOT SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU MISS.
>That you like how it feels and aim better on it. Simple.
This isn't an "opinion", I'm stating objective reality. There is NO SCENARIO ON THIS PLANET where adding view aliasing is a positive.
>I don't understand how you don't look at this and understand that someone might like the more spaced out griddy angles of a lower DPI
Because it's not demonstrating what you think it is. Again, it's an extreme demonstrating that view aliasing can literally cause you to miss. You are less accurate. The further an enemy is away from you the worse it gets. There are NO BENEFITS to this.
>>
>>2850265
>Neither is right or wrong, use what you like and don't come in shaming others for not using 1600/3200
I am 100% correct and you have NO COUNTER–ARGUMENT AT ALL, just a demonstration you do not understand how it works.
AGAIN:
Latency is LOWER
Control is HIGHER
there are NO DOWNSIDES to using 1600/3200 DPI, but there ARE downsides to going below 1600 DPI.
>>
just tell us how youre raping us and how raped we are already so you can stop shittying up the thread
after that tho you are also no longer allowed to post in this thread anymore!
however i will let you use this time to come up with your next argument and you can post that in the next thread instead
maybe it can be another suboptimal micro optimization too
that way when you add enough of them together you will finally be good enough to play with your friends in premier without wanting to hide your rating until the end of the season gang
>>

>It's not at all related. Regardless of your polling rate you should be using at least 1600.
yes it is look at your post
>>2846262
The higher your DPI the less deviation and latency. Do you even look at anything you are posting as your proofs man?
>And yet you have nothing to suggest that is better. View aliasing is the perfect description of it and you don't even have a counter-argument.
Do you read any of my posts? I was using angle skipping instead.
>You still havent listed a SINGLE reason not to use this config.
I have multiple times. Because you aim worse on it and dont like how it feels. Someone can prefer the angle skippy less accurate lower DPI and still aim a hell lot better than you. No reason to go on about how they are a retard. MattyOW uses 800 dpi and will destroy you. Snax uses 400 and will destroy you. These Top aimers and pros aren't "tech illiterate retards" snax obviously likes 8k polling rate for less input lag on his clicks, but does not like the feeling of dpis higher than 400. Nothing wrong with that.
>Why are you conveniently forgetting the latency aspect to this?
Never forgot it. Some people prefer how 400 DPI feels even though it will have more latency than using 1600+ at 8k hz etc.
>Why are you repeating this when I have already proven you wrong? It's demonstrating that view aliasing causes you to MISS.
Thats like me saying in here that >>2850265
less quantatized "view aliasing" leads to me missing because I didn't move in a straight line and it went up a little going above his head or some shit. You are a retard thats not at all what thats showing. It's just showing the difference of how they work. Not that one is better or causing someone to miss.
>YOU USE ANGLE SNAPPING AS A SOLUTION YOU TECH ILLITERATE RETARD NOT SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU MISS.
Angle snapping is terrible in CS. Sprays and recoil control is a lot of diagonal movements. Angle snapping forces horizontal and vertical lines. Using lower DPI is better for this
>>
>This isn't an "opinion", I'm stating objective reality. There is NO SCENARIO ON THIS PLANET where adding view aliasing is a positive.
The only thing objective you are saying is that with your set up you will have the least quantized "view aliasing" . Yes that is correct, but this isn't necessarily preferred by all aimers. Tons of top aimers prefer the feel of more quantization. It allows them to make easier straight horizontal crosshair corrections, while still being able to smoothly spray after, which is something you couldn't do with angle snapping. You clearly aren't good at CS by thinking angle snapping would be a good idea in this game. I'd prob destroy you with a ball mouse in an aim map or in a quake 1v1 LG tracking duel you dysgenic autistic retard.
>Because it's not demonstrating what you think it is. Again, it's an extreme demonstrating that view aliasing can literally cause you to miss. You are less accurate. The further an enemy is away from you the worse it gets. There are NO BENEFITS to this.
Yea but look here. >>2850265
it's demonstrating that less "view aliasing" will make the mouse move extra when you didn't want it to causing the person to aim too high.
I can make whatever chart on there and demonstrate anything I wan't. All that site is demonstrating is angle skipping and quantization differences of lowsens/highDPI and highsens/lowDPI. U could make up and argue weather its about missing someone all u want. It has nothing to do with missing and you are pulling that out of your ass. Just like how you claimed that guy doesn't play with friends because he doesn't want to lose elo. You're boring man find a new argument.
>I am 100% correct and you have NO COUNTER–ARGUMENT AT ALL, just a demonstration you do not understand how it works.
I know how it works better than you and you are right for the 100th time that low sens+HIGH DPI = less "view aliasing" but you are wrong that that will make you aim better, and that you should minmax "viewaliasing"
>>
>>2850620

Your complete inability to quote what I said as being incorrect speaks volumes.

You're actually fucking brain damaged. You would never compared 2 different people in this scenario, you'd compared their own performance like if they tried a monitor at 60hz against 360hz.
>These Top aimers and pros aren't "tech illiterate retards"
Evidently they are and you're so desperate you're now appealing to authority because you literally have no counter-argument.
>Some people prefer how 400 DPI feels
Wrong. This isn't a 'feeling', this is an objective and measurable truth we're talking about.
Nobody prefers 60hz over 360hz if 360hz has no downsides the same way nobody prefers high latency and less control.
It simply comes down to complete and utter tech illiteracy.
>leads to me missing because I didn't move in a straight line and it went up a little going above his head or some shit.
ALL VIEW ALIASING DOES IS REDUCE CONTROL AND AMPLIFY MISTAKES YOU FUCKING RETARD. IN THAT SCENARIO YOU MISSED BECAUSE YOU MISSED, NOT BECAUSE OF ALIASING.
>Angle snapping is terrible in CS.
NO SHIT YOU BRAIN DAMAGED RETARD ITS ALMOST LIKE FINE CONTROL IS OBJECTIVELY SUPERIOR THAN VIEW ALIASING AND ANGLE SNAPPING
You're a fucking idiot, you're so fucking lost.
>>
>that way when you add enough of them together you will finally be good enough to play with your friends in premier without wanting to hide your rating until the end of the season gang
Yea next he can figure out the perfect angle snapping settings on his mouse software to have the most elite setup. While still being a dysgenic mr spock autist who can't aim and play with his friends since hes 2k premier rating and they are over 12k so he cant Q with them.

look here retard >>2846262 if you actually understood what this chart is showing (which you've proven your incapable of talking about whatever the fuck you are posting) u would know why i would bring up polling rate, but yes polling rate is irrelevant to "view aliasing" its just about input lag
>You're actually fucking brain damaged. You would never compared 2 different people in this scenario, you'd compared their own performance like if they tried a monitor at 60hz against 360hz.
lol now you bringing up monitor hz?? what?? And just look up mattyOW vids and scores on kovaaks on 800 dpi vs 1600 dpi. He scores better on 800 still.
>Evidently they are and you're so desperate you're now appealing to authority because you literally have no counter-argument.
No they aren't . They know about all of this shit more than me or you. They choose what they play best on.
>It simply comes down to complete and utter tech illiteracy.
Get off 4chan then and go make a youtube video about how all cs2 pros are tech illiterate... Ohh wait. People have common sens and realize that less view angle quantization =/ better aim. Only in extreme scenarios like >>2846256 which would be like using 400 DPI and 20+ sens in cs2 is when it might start to hurt your gameplay man. Prefering a little bit of "view aliasing" is fine. Why don't you complain to valve that their m_yaw is set too high at 0.022 and this makes the game less competitive and they should set it to 0.0022. This is the most autistic shit man you are a fucking loser. Your friends don't play with you because you're bad. It's just a coincidence and an easy way out to say ohhh we only want to play premier and we cant play premier with you since you're too low. You're a fucking stubborn ass mr spock autistic retard.
>>
>>2850647
>It allows them to make easier straight horizontal crosshair corrections

>will make the mouse move extra when you didn't want it to causing the person to aim too high
IF YOU AIMED TO HIGH ITS BECAUSE YOU AIMED TOO HIGH. AT LEAST YOU CAN ACTUALLY HIT THE SPOT YOU INTENDED BECAUSE ITS NOT ALIASED OUT OF YOUR CONTROL.
>I know how it works better than you
You have completely and utterly humiliated yourself. You're so desperate you're appealing to pros, you're saying you'd beat me, you have NOTHING objective supporting what you say.
You havent given ANY evidence that view aliasing is positive IN ANY CAPACITY.
You lost.
>>
>>2850711
>ALL VIEW ALIASING DOES IS REDUCE CONTROL AND AMPLIFY MISTAKES YOU FUCKING RETARD. IN THAT SCENARIO YOU MISSED BECAUSE YOU MISSED, NOT BECAUSE OF ALIASING.
no you can clearly see in this >>2850265 i missed because there wasn't enough view aliasing in the above picture. If there was more view aliasing like the bottom I hit them. Even if i technically missed because I moved my mouse a bit too much up when I didn't want to. I missed the shot in game. So it still technically made my aim worse.
>NO SHIT YOU BRAIN DAMAGED RETARD ITS ALMOST LIKE FINE CONTROL IS OBJECTIVELY SUPERIOR THAN VIEW ALIASING AND ANGLE SNAPPING
Technically objectively superior doesn't fully translate to real competitive scenarios. The whole world isn't a logic computer you autistic loser.
> YOUR LINE ISNT STRAIGHTER IF YOU HAVE LESS VIEW RESOLUTION YOU BRAIN DAMAGED FAGGOT. THE QUAKE GIF LITERALLY SHOWS THIS.
Umm can't you look at my quake pic? I showed that the line is straighter due to my higher "view aliasing" or whatever the fuck you want to keep using bullshit terms for. Now u are using view resolution?? But using it the other way?? you are losing it bro hahahhahaha. More of your fake nonsense terms.
>IF YOU AIMED TO HIGH ITS BECAUSE YOU AIMED TOO HIGH. AT LEAST YOU CAN ACTUALLY HIT THE SPOT YOU INTENDED BECAUSE ITS NOT ALIASED OUT OF YOUR CONTROL.
It doesn't matter. The mouse did a better job doing what I wanted it to do on the bottom picture. What matters is that I killed the guy now and got the headshot. Yea I technically messed up my aim and missed. but by using a higher and superior ;) "view aliasing" my low DPI made up for my shitty aim and let me hit the shot. Once again proving low DPI is king. You have no argument or proof against this. You lost retard.

>If there was more view aliasing like the bottom I hit them.
If I draw a box that has 40 points I can click within it to confirm a hit, vs a box that has 10 with the rest being unreachable due to over/unsershoot from aliasing, the box with 40 points ALWAYS wins
>Technically objectively superior doesn't fully translate to real competitive scenarios. The whole world isn't a logic computer you autistic loser.
IT DOES WHEN THE ALTERNATIVE IS OBJECTIVELY WORSE YOU FUCKING RETARD. JUST LIKE 60HZ DISPLAYS ARE WORSE THAN 360HZ.
>I showed that the line is straighter
IT WOULD BE COMPLETLY STRAIGHT IF YOU LOCKED THE Y AXIS ENTIRELY YOU FUCKING RETARD BUT HIGHER VIEW RESOLUTION ALWAYS WINS OUT
>The mouse did a better job doing what I wanted it to do on the bottom picture.
IT DIDNT DO A BETTER JOB BECAUSE YOU LITERALLY HAVE LESS CONTROL IF ALIASING CAUSES YOU TO HIT 1 SHOT BY LUCK YOURE MISSING 100 SHOTS FROM SKILL

You've been completely and utterly raped, gaped and humiliated.
>>
>>2850794
yea the guy constantly raging out in caps locks isn't the one who got utterly humiliated in a 4chan thread AGAIN.
Yea because you're such an autistic loser with no friends all of your self worth comes from 4chan thread arguments.
Heres an idea for the next thread. You should go on about how a certain resolution is superior, or how you should have a 180 bind or something and how its objectively better and faster.
Now we know that no one wants to queue up with you and that you're a 3200 DPI scrub.
Next we can find out how u use some crazy wide screen resolution because more pixels are superior and that pros using 1280 res are so stupid and retarded compared to you
>>
>>2850814
You're so desperate to stop talking about this because you have no counter argument. You're bringing up off-topic nonsense to try and shift this into some meta argument because you know you've lost.
FACT: 1600/3200 DPI has lower latency than 400 DPI
FACT: A lower in-game sensitivity reduces view aliasing which increases control.
Again, you've been completely and utterly raped, gaped and humiliated.

Valve went HARD on the wear effect in the early days of CS skins and in CSGO the "gunsmith" finish which didn't scratch but just got darker looked pretty meh since metallic finishes just looked bad.

Bring back the 45-second bomb timer.
I think CS2 smokes being huge and being much harder to play around unless you have an HE still in your inventory makes retaking way less tenable as a CT. Smokes in CSGO were a lot easier to play around since they weren't as generous with the expansion. Now, a really shittily thrown smoke will still fully block off a corridor without allowing a CT to play around it on a retake.
On utility heavy maps like Inferno/Ancient, saving your HE for retakes means denying early chip damage, which is crucial to taking map control. So saving an HE for retakes isn't always the most viable option.
I think adding back the 5 seconds to the post plant would be a great counter-balance to smokes being way more effective in CS2. Just allows CTs to be more patient and make retaking certain sites more viable.

How come Marble Fade on some knives has this beautiful trippy Doppler look while on most knives it's just an ugly traffic light looking ass finish?

I really like Lt commander gloves. Hard to combo but they're really cool and are much more fitting for the game than 95% of other gloves.

If you're rude to me I will disrupt the game so you lose. Unless you apologise.
If the outcome of a video game means so much to you that you stop treating people with respect, I will punish you.
>>

Same for me. It's also the reason I don't play Faceit. People there are completely unhinged, not a single chill person on the entire platform.

Whenever I have a bad session of CS, I speak to my mum for a bit and ask her about her day, then I feel better.
>>
>>2863581
Do you tell her you just got gaped in cs?
>>
I hate Mirage so much...
>>
>>2863802
I've never liked it nor been any good at it. I have no idea what made people decide it's the default CS map.
D2 is a lot better at being a brainless pug map
>>
>>2863805
Yeah, it is annoying for me to play.
D2 is nice brainless fun.

Tendies status?
>>
>>2863404
I like it sometimes. Makes me want to lock in and prove them wrong. I went 0 dmg the first 4 rounds yesterday and I was getting ripped apart by 2 people on my team. Ended the game top of the board with far and away the most impact.
>>
>>2863805
i think its because post plant retakes in mirage just feel better because the bomb sites are easier to get into so it gives you the illusion that you actually tried and did something
retaking in dust2 sometimes feels like you gotta walk through a rain of arrows and flaming oil pits before you can even touch the bomb sites which feel like fortresses
the main reason why i dont really enjoy playing mirage is just how oppressive some games can get when one side is just way better at playing around mid than the other
you either roll or get rolled

Answer the question.
I already stated that.
>>
>>2864388
How can I tell you anything. Sometimes you just get unlucky. Other times you're baiting your teammates and throwing bad utility or whatever else. How am I supposed to know.
>>
>>2864356
I had some games like that the other day.
The answer is: i just got lucky which padded my stats but i am in no way good enough to carry a game
>>
>>2864259
>the main reason why i dont really enjoy playing mirage is just how oppressive some games can get when one side is just way better at playing around mid than the other
I understand what you're saying but really that is just any map. As soon as one team has a distinct advantage and they can capitalize on it you're forced to turtle on sites while they pick you off.

This is only more pronounced on Mirage because people have much more experience there. Your average 14 year old Russian already knows the smokes from spawn and by 16 they know every little angle and boostspot.
You don't see this on any other map

did the thing, you were absolutely right
>>
>>2863404
I agree. those people almost always turn out to be deranged with the most fragile egos. ive actually made one guy start crying before once two more of my teammates joined in because of how weird he was
>>
>>2864259
Dust A site isn't that hard to retake
B site is one of the hardest in the map pool for sure though
>>
What is your favorite map and why?

For me it's Anubis. I just like the simple 3 lane layout and the fact it's more T-sided than other maps made it both fun and pulling off a good CT half feels more rewarding.
>>
>>2864846
In the current pool probably 1. Nuke and 2. Anubis or Ancient. I don't know what it is but I always perform excellently on Nuke and I appreciate the non-standard layout. Only issue is if your team doesn't know util or have any comms

1.ancient - pretty balanced overall, lots of options/freedom after getting control of mid
2. inferno - really fun and decisive early round fights, knowing instant smokes makes for impactful ct aggresion
3. mirage - teammates *usually* understand how to take space or hold sites correctly, lurking extremities *should* be important roles
4. nuke - hit or miss if team doesnt know how/when to rotate, pressuring squeaky, getting down lower etc.
5. cache - new map so nobody gets it. boring gameplay loop and utility is really basic(that people still cant figure out) and sometimes unintuitive looking to bad players
6. dust II - too reliant on spawns, everybody baits, nobody understands block utility or flash timings(id kill for valve to release a statistic showing how many flashes have been thrown over long doors 5 seconds too early and doing absolutely nothing)
7. anubis - valorant map design(zero cover on either bomb site - youre forced to swing from behind a wall and fully expose yourself), nobody knows utility, how to push anything, callouts, its just a dogshit instaban map
>>
>>2865054
>1.ancient - pretty balanced overall, lots of options/freedom after getting control of mid
Don't you feel like Ancient is sometimes too much of a utility spam simulator?
Controlling mid feels like too much of a win condition on Ancient to me. Still a top 3 map for me but as soon as you start to face organized teams the map rapidly becomes less fun.
>>
>>2864971
Nah first I put down a swastika but it looked like shit so I wanted to add something in the middle to make it look cool
>>
>>2865079
>Don't you feel like Ancient is sometimes too much of a utility spam simulator?
it doesnt have to be. just throw block utility on either site and a molly+flash mid can be enough to stop a mid rush. its pretty easy to adapt to enemy playstyle after a few rounds. my duo is a really good mid player, and i play cave so usually one of us is coming to support the other right away

imo the big reason ancient(well, true for all maps i guess) feels tough is when you have teammates that arent proactive. you can even just let them have mid sometimes, if you have teammates getting info A main or B ramp early so you can all lean into the opposite side of the map. Ive always had a ~70% win rate on ancient, its def harder if youre solo queuing though. usually its just a B retake simulator or your teammates are trying to outbait eachother @ elbow

Xertion's crosshair is disgusting wtf
>>
>>2865997
Ive seen donk and nocries using the exact same one buddy, take your meds
>>
>>2865997
Ive used that one for some time, it's stupidly good because it combines both the precision and target acquisition of a dot with the visibility of a normal crosshair.
You do have to mess around with settings to get it though
>>
My inventory is down well over -15% approaching -20% at lightspeed
Normally I wouldn't care but I was planning on selling a whole bunch of excess skins and only keep some stuff to play with
>>
>>2865997
xertion is disgusting. mouz is honestly the only team i root against. negative aura with spinx xertion and torzsi lineup
>>
>>2866573
They should go full IDF and bring HeavyGod and Flamez as well. Then fall apart because of constant sceming and baiting. Or get attacked on stage
>>
>>2865997
I used that circle crosshair for a minute and I thought it would work better but for some reason my brain did not like trying to get shots into a circle. also quick lineups took a hit
>>
>>2865997
I like it cause its so visible. Those green crosses are annoying
>>
>>2866593
I love green but I can't use it for a crosshair, the visibility isn't there.
I also don't understand all the pros using cyan - the color of the sky on so many maps.
>>
>>2866605
Well their crosshair will almost never be in the sky though
>>
>>2866605
I was using default green for awhile but magenta works much better
>>
>>2866608
there's plenty of spots light blue is sub-optimal
>>
>>2866616
Cyan works very well on mirage, dust2 and inferno and any faceit spammer can tell you that those three maps account for most games...

Check 3:05 from STYKO's video, its quite interesting
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zlEFPvfQok
>>
>>2866626
or you could just use an unnatural color like magenta that doesn't appear on the maps

Posted about it before but to me the best crosshair is a cross with a dot in the middle.
