Me and my friends make a point to kill tanks when we see them, most of our tank kills actually come from immobilizing them and then killing the crew when they try to repair. If they hunker down we eventually pepper them enough with rockets and explosives until they pop. It’s a team effort. Remember, tanks in this game aren’t like Battlefield or whatever. You are fighting a small crew who invested a lot of money. It only makes sense they are deadly and hard to kill.

I played this game over the weekend and it was fucking dogshit. If you enter the game even one week into a wipe then you are forced to basically play a turboshit version of Minecraft afking in Squad/PR style superfobs or spotting things. You can't unlock any AT or AA weapons without massive support XP that you can only grind if you're behind the progression curve by afk building, and even then they're shit until even deeper in the tree, meanwhile other players will have attack helicopters, tanks and artillery. You can't level assault for shit because every nolife whale will have armor impervious to low tier ammo. You can only level recon by AFK spotting things.

I made an AA tower in bumfuck nowhere and shot down 6 helis before they started nuking me. If I had my friend on this would take 10 minutes tops.
Tanks are so expensive its really not worth buying them, especially when the enemy team can just join another server.

I joined blue and had a god-tier War Dogs team for once as blue in a match on Ozeti today.

They built a god-tier base on the bridge. Anti-air that was shredding enemy birds left and right. A drill that pulled the hot zone to that FOB no less than 5 times. The base design was incredible. APC was placed under the bridge and kept safe. We had builders. We had drivers. We had pilots. We had people spotting and being good medics. Despite all that we still lost to red at the end because they had a FOB on the polar opposite edge of the zone that pulled the hot zone away right at the end.

Then I joined red team on Ozeti. That match made me realize the night and day difference between a trash team and a highly competent team.

This team apparently min-maxxed everything into infantry. In the beginning of the match, the whole team was in the hot zone. The team racked up 30 points off the bat. The problem was not a single fucking player deployed a FOB despite numerous requests in chat. We had 0 builders. So that when the hot zone was eventually wiped of red players, there was no fucking base to push from. The team played like a nomadic wandering horde treating the game as a pure FPS. Eventually we had a FOB but it was outside the circle with 10 players in it and couldn't deal with the helicopters flying around anyway. Only in the final moments was a FOB finally deployed on tower 3 but it was too little too late. No one could build because it was too risky. The team just camped the tower helplessly as the green team just shit on everyone else.

This game was more fun in the first week and pre-release when players didn't know what they were doing.
