The boost in latency and imput delay is huge while the introduction of visual artifacts is really minimal given you play at a resolution higher than 1280x960. My mouse sensitivity across the board regardless of the game is approx. 1 feet for 360 degrees.I struggled a lot in CS2 to even move my crosshair (does it implement negative acceleration or something?). But after going from 1.8 in-game sensitivity to 2.1 things started to feel better. It's just sucks because this will affect the muscle memory and other games too.

Had some wacky clutch rounds today that got my blood pumping; wish I could capture that feeling more often. Every time I think I have a great game I watch some back and see how bad my positioning/crosshair placement/choices etc really are lol. They want engagement before anything, and the rank is sort of fake thing. Add in randomness and you are chasing a dragon here. It's a game. When you start a match cold and just don't have luck hitting your shots and making some dumb decisions they ensure you won't ever make a comeback during the game. In Premier I've gone from being bottom fragger on CT to finishing #1 in the server from T. In Faceit I am already at war with my team by that point and cannot focus on the game.

People are massively sleeping on R8 Revolver btw. This thing is quite insane when you look at it: guaranteed 2 shot in the body at any range while it has near perfect movement accuracy due to slowing down.The value this thing creates in eco rounds is insanely strong only matched by 57 which is super busted.

Honestly it's really frustrating telling new players that their biggest flaw is their individual performance, that they need to go hit prefire/dms up and them just not really listening.

And then just try and implement new habbits from a pro little by little. Once you have these down into memory you can watch demos again and pick another few things to add.

I can throw meta util I learned from youtube and maybe just my luck but since 20k all of these teammates know what to do and know what space they can take when I throw that. Really showed me how much proper space taking/trading can make a difference once your at higher ranks, and how little it does at lower ranks when teammates can't coordinate back with you.

How do people put so many hours into this game without getting bored? Is the trick to not getting bored to keep learning and improving and not just playing for fun/casually? I'm kind of bored of this game but wardogs and everything else looks like a waste of money that I'll get bored of in 50 hours. I have 1.5k hours in this game, but it seems like there is no other multiplayer games worth playing. Just single player/arcade stuff
