See how cheat shows where batteries are? Yeah. And those cheats evolved to the point where they even show where gold/purple loot is, working off of Thieve's visor.The reason why cheats were so early in Marathon and so successful was simple - Marathon is just an upgraded Destiny 2. And Destiny 2 had cheaters allover it, courtesy of it becoming F2P. Server Slam ran for a week or so? So it gave some time for those in the know/clique to start working on the cheats.And then there is the issue with cross-play, and console shooter standard of legal aim bot, and Bungie "gunplay".Ultimately - cheaters are what drove away the players.

Map is more difficult to explore, when PvP is a threat. Exploring the game is more rewarding, when you have to pay a price, you have to hide and avoid combat(or go in and win the fight). Then you earned the are to explore, look at muh graphics and listen to the sounds.I don't give a fuck about anything in PvE games after playing Marathon. Other games are not rewarding.Arc is a little bit, but purely PvE Coop games are a snoozefest

Spawned at South Relay and first large container had blue Overrun and a green shield, killed two ghosts inside for blue implants>Grenades seem much rarer>As expected full of sweats playing Assassin and Destroyer>Station appears to have had a minor redesign with a new tower and piping/scaffolding to the south with the TAD up on there rather than in the hanger on the second floor>Have not seen any Grenadiers>Basic mooks seem to take a bit more gunfire to kill but die in one melee without 0 worms in the cradle as baseline nowInteresting changes. definitely feels like they want the whole 'zero to hero' deal to be the default, on Perimeter at least, and feels like it escalates far faster. Gonna be interested to see how Darsh changes since i like it but feel its the least popular map for the majority.
