If you suck at the game, you're not really gonna improve by always giving up. Being able to "save" a run that looks unpromising but turns around in the second half is a skill. 2. They probably don't even know which runs are worth gluing or not which can really only be learned by doing lots and lots of runs to completion and trying to deduct well "I saw these red flags early on so maybe next time I can glue". It's just one of those things that I would be leery to encourage people who don't know what they're doing to do. It's URA essentially with even more bloat tacked on in the form of a shop, because relying on rainbow RNG alone just wasn't enough. You sound like you can discern what's the difference from bad luck and user error, but also GL is so shit that you HAVE to take risks to even get the high roll. So I think it's fair to glue, even in junior year so long as you know what's a skill issue and what's a luck issue, and I think you do. It's more the players that can't break into the upper stratosphere at all that need tweaking. But yeah GL sucks man. I had to glue a lot to get my current team. It will save your sanity but I just don't want to recommend it to EVERYBODY because you gotta get to a certain point before you know. Some people that don't even have teams need to at the very least get some placeholders in and even if a run isn't a high roll, you can get a perfectly useable ace that kinda has a rough start, like even one that could win you plat. I fully recommend gluing I just don't want people to overdo it and not be able to diagnose what's the mode's fault and their fault. A lot of the times though, it just really is bad luck there's no way around it.
