>STALKER x Tarkov I'm still doing only PvE because I'm not prepared to throw tons of loadouts at sweatlords.
Devs cooked with some of these chronogene descriptions lol
Game looks cool
>>3064899I've been having a lot of fun with it. I played it a while ago and jumped back in recently and could tell the devs put a lot of good effort into the game. The game design since has been incredible. The interchangeability between playing PvE and PvP modes, the progression system, the repeatability and replayability factors, gun variety, wipe mechanic (personal timelines) being entirely player decided is brilliant, stamina system tied to heart rate. The UI is also some of the best I've seen in a video game. The quality of life mechanics are great. And the game runs well on any system. With the harmonization cycles (battlepass), Active Matter is going to go places.
>>3064899its fun. gunplay a little janky but its really easy to get into and pretty forgiving in the realm of extraction shooters. about as forgiving as arc raiders id say. maybe more because getting crafting materials is pretty easy and pve mode is always a nice crutch to fall back on in case you get in the red.
>>3064962PvP in games like this is nothing but suffering. Hunt was better because of the limitations the guns gave you, but that game has gone way downhill. This is closer to Tarkov so a Russian camper is going to take you out while you're getting mobbed 100% of the time.
>>3065317But it's literally the best part of the game?
>>3065435Explain how getting blindsided by sweaty ruskis when the game piles on its usual bullshit and losing hard-earned gear is fun.
>>3065516>losing hard-earned geargear is piss easy to come by in this game.
>>3065530You burn through it pretty fast regardless.
>>3065516Because the gunplay is very tight and for the most part balanced and the armor system means getting one tapped is impossible with the right gear. Poor visibility also biases most firefights to spray and pray which all feels very visceral and dynamic in combination. The biggest issue used to be getting 2v1 or 3v1 by squads but there's a solo only queue now. The sweatiest players are usually squaded up and out of 15 players dumped into the average solos shegolskoe match only like 2-4 are actually scary to fight. If you are getting 3rd partied a lot after triggering a mob you need to play more patiently or equip the speed perks to get out of dodge quicker. Also it seems like you haven't played Tarkov recently if you think it plays anything like this game. >>3065530Yeah, the reduced gear fear turns what would be immensely frustrating in other games into a minor setback. It's only really bad when you find an item you need to extract to unlock it in the replicator.
>>3065618>It's only really bad when you find an item you need to extract to unlock it in the replicatorI found a sweet Abakan with one of the special modifiers in the PvE mode and put it into my safe container. I had 12 minutes left in the raid when the game crashed. I crashed out so hard after that. I loaded the game back up and saw I couldn't reconnect like I could with PvP matches. Then in some crazy circumstance, I saw a notification that all the gear I brought into that raid was returned to me. I had large rig, large backpack, and a kitted out AK-12. I was super surprised the game knew to do that. Like a dev was watching my game and took pity or something. The game crash was my computer's fault too to be honest.
>>3064568>Shy Girl>I skipped everything except leg day.O.OVery hot if I had to be quite honest with you famalam
