>>1893745My experience is that you don't really need to raise ultimate damage if you have enough buffs from putting together a good team, so getting more copies of a character (except for the free event ones) has never been a priority for me, that said get Leannan Sidhe with one of the 4* tickets, she's still one of the strongest damage supports in the game once you have her fully leveled and skill 100, between her and the guild affiliation mechanic you can make pretty much anyone usable.80j8g

I really pushed through reading the last 12 parts I had left as today makes one year since I started reading everything again.There was a monologue about how your world opens up like after graduating and if you were still yourself and possibly contemplate what you were even doing during those days. Shiro and Kengo meet Tuaring in an underwater place known as the Collective Consciousness. Marduk and Teda can push the rain back due to being incarnations of the sun. Yorimoto recalls how this is like a Loop where there was no going back. Israfil says everyone in Tokyo is endlessly wandering and wants to end it but Jacob says people should be allowed their own path. Shinya was WITH THE INVADERS! Learn he caused Perun great pain once and Perun's Rule can grind memories down and adding others its how he made the current Volkh by adding Kamui for use of his Rule and Perun's own ego so Volkh will be loyal to him. He also has a Plate Mail SA that Shinya was suppose to have. He used his Rule in Shinya but Taromaitai and Kalki shield him but are under hos control now. Takaminakata debuts and fights Ifrit. Toji and Licht are working together as Toji's Barrier's protect him from the rain. He asks if all the past Loop versions of us are actually us and if so would we honor debuts or promises we made before to those we may not remember (really makes you think about it) He explains the Swampman experiment where a man died but as he fell in a swamp lighting struck and a man that was identical to him emerged and lives his life and asks if the Swampman is the same as the man who died. They really kept going over this part a lot. Volkh attacks Bigfoot Tada and Kotaro. Tada fights even though they're out numbered due to his loyalty to us. Ulaan is a World Pillar and is hiding from Temujin even changed his name. Temujin mentions Gesir Bogdo. Bigfoot is a shaman who can use part of Wakan's Rule and takes Tada and Kotaro to safety and tells them Wakan is different and can't forgive him. Him and Babe Bunyun are working together and Babe is like Volkh and Bigfoot asks them to end Wakan. Okuni ruled in his HW and was seemingly kind and loved and Takamina wonders if thats the case why did Amaterasu usurp Okuni.

Tuar fights Ryota after he asked if he's projecting chris on Isaac. The Oceanic Realm could be called Mu from the Hero Ra Mu. The System of Ra Mu is to collect memories from the waters of the world and can hold all the memories of all Loops with room to spare (This is like Aegir used memories in the water and how Ran became one with the ocean. I don't think they thought that far ahead though. So Ra Mu is an Exception from us and Tang (but how the Exception territory happened when Wakan and Tang clashed not us) he has a mask over his face and says because he needs no face for you already wear it. (what does that mean and also an Exception that's coherent that's new...I think.) Ra Mu collects memories from the abyss and thats why he's an Exception and is almost bursting with our memories alone gives them back to us and we get paralyzed with info overload. Also there's another Exception on Ra Mu's neck/face

We get funneled to Masa and Yoshi who mentioned he loved Mori (not specified if its romantic) Tada get dragged into the CC and see's memories of Shino and tries to get out then Ulaan saves him and Tada now has a sword like Shino's...I'll be honest that was so anti climatic that's how he got his new alt? Anyway Breke was nearby during that. Curren mentions Mononobe's System of Familiars they show Meph and Lil' Sal and how he reached his limit and cant read his memories. And how we are based on Olympus's System and so that's why people always love us. Shinya was friends with us in a past Loop bonding over that. Shinya gets a pep talk from Ulaan and joins the fight again. Christine is causing chaos disguised as us and Meph wonders about how direct her involvement is now. Shinya can use Zeus' Rule only-

AIsaac talks to King Solomon/mononobe's memories and wonders why he made him. (So Solomon himself made the geniuses?) Bertro was given two familiars due to being a GM and they where Freke and Geri. Geri was implanted in his body and he made Freke into Breke. (How? Breke was already Breke when he came to Tokyo so when did that Happen?) Fight Tang and Ryota helps with Double Dragon which becomes Dragon's Supper. Also he can heal our arm like Shennong can. (wished the vocal version of Dragonborn played.) Taishakuten can reflect things back like a Wobbuffet and send Perun's Rule back and everyone gets separated from his Rule like Kamui and Volkh, even Tang and Wakan so he must have done something to them too

Israfil is with Michael and Kokopurr barges in mad. Babe and Bigfoot go see their boss. Ose talks with the Entertainer GM and gets shot?! Leann, Alice and Jamb are alive. Sanat left a note telling Leann to leave the Entertainers. Balor is okay somehow I thought Daikoku still had him unless I'm forgetting something. Avarga and Taurus Mask find the Wanderers Guild Q'ursha debuts and Avgara is going to break Arsalan out from the Rule Makers (So he's been trapped there since Ch9. ) Christine announced the Entertainers are no longer Oberservers and (Barong was shown) She wants the game to be more interesting after all as her master watches. God so much I cant process it funny considering the whole theme of this Chapter. but it really did feel like too much so many small plots throughout this Chapter. I'm glad Wakan seems okay I was so certain he'd leave Tokyo there was so much leading up to it. I also thought Bigfoot or Babe was going to be the real Wakan or something.

Different cultures often came up with their own takes on similar deities, so that doppelganger idea makes sense, it's just that the game also has this maybe-not-so-subtle subtext of what one's "true name" or self means (clearly seen in this chapter with its Swampman paradox, but also in small things like "engraving one's name", "forged reification", Nomad vs Gully, etc) that it makes me wonder how much they intend on expanding upon this if at all.

It's officially the 9th Anniversary! I've said it before but I certainly enjoyed this past year more than others even if there are things that could be better and the emotional whiplash this game has given me especially in the past two days. But it's crazy to think how different the game was nine years ago with only 33 playable characters at launch and now we have over 250 playable characters and that's not counting alts. Finally after taking from time after the emotional whiplash Chapter 13 gave me and since Lifewonders hasn't translated Catoblepas' Golden Week or The Warmongers Treasure Hunt I finished Summer Pool Twilight which I'm also calling Sonic Frontiers. I enjoyed the more relaxed pace of the Event but then Lore out of nowhere happens which I found very interesting and there's a lot.I genuinely thought I started Ch.14 by mistake somehow with Christine, Leannan, and Barong going over how what a Game is and how it's where everyone plays the Role they were given all for someone else's entertainment. Nyarlathotep poses the question if the world is a game (hmmm). But despite that intro this Event felt like it happens pretty early in a Loop with how some Ch.3/4 things were explained. The whole Event venue was made by Smoky God and that's how we get invites he literally moved parts of Tokyo to see us in this Loop they really did not try to hide any spoilers regarding Loops or WR's. We met Barong he said give him a tip he will make our stay even more exciting...I know he means money....maybe he did give us his contact info at the end tho... Met Gorozaemon as this was their debut they are with the Entertainers and Boogeyman is too (oh wonderful) We got a lot of small interactions like Dagon and Aegir getting real close to us. Arsalan and Zab which sadly Zab once again going back to square one in a Summer Event sorry Arsalan Zab will not "get down with his bad self". They have this unique way of adapting mythological figures into modern-day designs which make them more appealing to me.I do think the designs have been more misses than hits for me in recent years, but when they do hit oh boy do they hit hard(Yig my beloved).

A lot of the characters are wearing modern outfits or ones related to their professions within Tokyo, but they still have elements to their designs that link them to their origins and remind you that they are beings from another world, even when said elements are something too on the nose like flames around the character.This dichotomy in Housamo's designs is what makes them more interesting to me than "hot guy in sexy but generic fantasy outfit", and even if a character's body/face are generic these elements help the design stand out more.

I finally finished Akiba and Dragons! after a few interruptions this past week. Like with SPT I enjoyed the slower pace but I'm not certain which one I enjoyed more.It was nice to see the Creators have more screen time and the relatable struggle of procrastinating final projects. I'm sure everyone's done there fair share of that I have flashbacks turning in essays at 11:49pm. Most of the Event being in a Metaverse Space being a mix of virtual and augmented reality was surprising I wasn't expecting it be a remix of VSM in a way. Sand Dragon was cute and I knew it was going to destroy itself by the end though giving it an AI chip felt like it would have against the taboos Vapula talked about. There was Shaytan recap fighting God/the Almighty and Michael how he cast away apart of himself being his 12 wings giving them to someone else. I don't recall if they said that before anywhere else but reading that here it hit me like a train. Azazel was the one who Shaytan gave his wings too wasn't he. Shaytan was called Ur-dragon. T-Antimony being a combination of Tindalos and Enigma's beliefs while being complete opposites found their answer it's crazy to think they actually could do that. Zhurong/COS lore/recap yet they didn't refer to Cthulhu by name despite being name dropped a few times by this point. Vapula also explained how Cato and Akiha's Rules still are active outside the App due to people's belief in them and the App could be just supporting emotional resonance basically magic where if both parties believe in it it can surpass reality no matter how impossible the fiction. I did Jagganath's special quest after the event, it was pretty nice. He has this little fighting ring event to show off to you, and then you meet him backstage after he mercilessly downs his opponent who was flirting with you earlier. He goes to shower and you steal his towel to sniff it, leading him to tease you with punishment. Then the day after, he goes missing for a little bit before turning up at the night festival with other police students. You pull a float and then play with rainbow colored powder and he paints your face to match his red markings, and then he hands you a present of silver dog tags that are like his as a thank you for being his buddy when everyone else at the precinct also wants to be your friend, with you promising that one day they'll be best buddies. Then it fades to black. Hope he gets a nice alt in the future :)

Turns out we already have skills and everything for the upcoming banner on the wiki and I read Takemaru and Glashtyn's Research Files because I couldn't help myself and both of them together really feels like it could be for a Valentines Event especially Takemaru's so I feel slightly slighted so thanks Lifewonders. But I have some hope that they do Takemaru justice after his Christmas alt felt lacking unless the only new/interesting info for this alt is also just in his Research File. His kit feels like he's part Valentine Krampus, Bigfoot, and his other two 5star versions so that's something. But I'm not a whale not sure if there's a name for it but I did spend money on a few packs during Bigfoot's debut Banner. I went back to hoarding everything until eventually I realized I still had 5 Paid Stones from that so I spent enough to get to 25 Paid Stones to get rid of them on the one time Paid Stone Banner with Amaterasu and Willie Wildcat last year. But since then I've just horded everything waiting for my favorites like I do with all the other Gacha games I play. Also reading Chapters 11-13 and completing the Free Quests from them has given me more Transient Stones than I would have otherwise.

Kabukicho Night Festival finally done wasn't that bad considering it was 20 parts wished I finished it sooner but it's the holidays cant be helped.This Event made me realize that at this point there are only three Transients connected to Aaru then again it was one of the less explored Worlds in terms of lore considering it was in like 3 Events. There's a student exchange program system of course we get picked to go to Kabukicho. Shiro and Kengo notice how one sided it is which later Sandayu and Kresnik said that it's pushed by Yoritomo and the other true guilds for intel gathering feels like that will be back soon. Suzuka gets more screen time see a new Rule/aspect of her katanas being able to cut the guardians of Yomi or Hades so that's something to add along with her Rule of Revelation. My biggest thing is did this Event basically retcon/rewrite most/all of Aaru's lore? I don't have my older notebooks with me right now and my current one only goes back to Episode 3 of ch.13 so can't I look back right now. At the end we learn the real Seth was working with Horus to be exiled from Aaru under the lie that he was the serpent Apophis unless he actually was I'll be real that was unclear to me. Also could you call that being exiled? But iirc Seth was falsely accused of murdering the current pharaoh then exiled as Ash voted against him and the whole thing was Horus's family pulling the strings. Sphinx said Seth was a bad guy that killed Horus's father yet that wasn't brought back up again. I'm not that versed in real Egypt Myth so dont know how faithful most of this is. You'd think me being fixated on Seth/Ash/Bael for a while id remember more but I've crammed 6 years of lore in little over a year its a lot to remember. Aaru also has a System of reincarnation you're physically the same without memories but if you're judged guilty even once you're sent to Duat for eternity. While Seth was in charge your soul would've been devoured by Apophis instead.

It happened with Shino, Shennong, Azathoth, Kres and Sanda with this rerun while I was reading Ch.12 and now Kres again.Sphinx was good. Him not being from Aaru but another world was cool because I did know Sphinxes aren't exclusive to Egypt Myth. He really is basically a kid who doesn't want to be alone after overseeing Aaru reincarnation cycle and being cast out of his HW. He doesn't even eat souls like other Sphinxes. It was relatable to want to remember the good times but staying in those memories isn't healthy. Sphinx and Abu/Abul (name was slightly inconsistent I noticed) was most likely thinking Ellie was Cleopatra. The riddle at the end was sweet.

Takemaru proves why he's the 2nd husband and not the 1st since it took 150 Summons to get him (technically he was the 148th Summon I did a tenfold) while it took only 2 Lil' Salomon Tickets to get Shennong's 2nd alt. I got a copy of 5star Akiha Gongen at 82 Summons as a 4star animation spook but it took 113 Summons to get 4star Aegipan. Not the best but that's Gacha and I rather have it happen to me than someone else. Hopefully everyone else had better luck.And of course I read Kresnik, Tsukuyomi, and Sphinx SQ would have read them all but I'm tired hopefully Ellie and Sandayu's didn't have anything of note.Kres recaps his kind are only related to vampires. He's used to doing dirty work no one wants to do and we have some grape juice after cleaning up and look at the moon in the dawn as he recalls the Event. It was fine wished their was more but then again felt like he had more story in the Event than the others.Tsuku shows us around the academy on the last day of K-fest. You can tell this was translated recently I've read the word yap/yapping a lot the past three Events. We can ask his plans for the future and he plans to stay in Kabukicho. We can have him read our fortune and tells us if we can grasp the flow of fate our path will surely open but it's not the fortune that's important but our actions. He says our escape from Abu's sanctuary betrayed his prediction at the start of the Event and that sanctuary act outside the laws of the world some refer to it as zero. So that's why Sphinx's 4star is Null Attribute I thought Infinity would have made more sense due to him overseeing the reincarnation cycle

And I flipped through my notes and everything else in Aaru was basically reworked from Desert Journey where Seth was only falsely accused of killing but it was nobles who did it wanting the throne and wanted Seth out of the way so he basically was immediately exiled as a result. But now from my understanding he did kill the pharaoh ruled for a bit and was Apophis Horus fought him to be the WR seemingly still with family intervention then worked with Seth to exile him from Aaru. Unless him being Apophis was fake to get exiled since its implied and not 100% confirmed.And thanks for the luck I'll say that's what made Takemaru show up before 200 Summons. I'm kinda tempted to go to 200 to get Glashtyn because why not. At this point I highly doubt there will be 3rd alts and the alts I don't have of my favorites probably aren't going to be reran anytime soon like Tanngrisnir and Krampus.

I finally decided to tackle Chapter 14 Prologue/preview and it had a slower start compared to Chapter 13's which I enjoyed more since that had a lot happening at the start a bit much to process. But they already ramp things up a bit by Downfall (3).Christine monologues about how there is no originality but says the Entertainers shall change the script as this will be their last performance in This Tokyo. Then suddenly we get stabbed by Kirito. Psych we were reliving a memory from a past Loop from the CMSU's from a room the Underground Colosseum and Shuichi and R-19 are trying to decrypt the data. We recall the meetings of Mononobe's parts in Ch11 and 13 and how we resemble someone who passed away. Learn that Shuichi and Duo escaped from the Rule Makers then an explosion happens and R-19 who has contact with Duo is told to evacuate. the others stay underground but we are back on the surface. Then the past memory plays and Kirito dismembered us and Mononobe stands before him. Kengo and Ryota get called to help elsewhere and Shiro brings up the severed arm from all the way back in Ch.2. I will say I did know about the arm coming back in the story before I think it was here and two anons talked about it either when this was dropped or officially translated. Still have no idea exactly where this is going tho. So even though the culprit was never found Mononobe went to the police to suspend the investigation of the top suspect who was Kirito. But the victim was us? as apparently it's a exact match to the DNA in our profile. (what profile? how?). Bigfoot appears and says to come to Yurakucho. Learn about Whitechapel and the new background has a red spot with drag marks so thats fun. An undercover cop gets too close to the truth and gets abducted. We meet Bigfoot and he takes us to a pool area, met Barong officially in the MS. Hogen and co talk about the officer and his arm was severed but it's his SA so if he's alive it can be reattached.

Get exposition of how there cant be one all powerful all knowing deity this world is finite but AIsaac tells Tuaring it can work if there are multiple like smaller versions. I read Blessings and Tribulations: The Rabbit of Fortune. It was fine slightly annoyed towards the end tho. We had an anime bump into someone while running with bread in our mouth moment choose left was Hakumen right was Smoky God. Learn about Inaba and he's...fine really not too much to work with. He deceived his shark friends, met Onamuchi, apparently made amends with the sharks who help him look for Ona. Find transient light gets summoned to Tokyo with his closest friend among the sharks. He calls us master despite us never forming a pact officially and we didn't Summon him either. Then again at this point Summoning is 90% of the time Transient has a wish get Summoned to Tokyo thanks to rainbow light/bridge without a mentioned of answering a Summoning Call by someone. Ebisu, Beten and Hotei are sharing a braincell that might be at 60% efficiency. Ebisu was from Takamagahara and went to the Land of Wa as an infant. Daikoku starting to sweat a bit because of those three was fun to see and the real one was the cringiest edgelord. learn about how Ona before becoming Okuninushi he did what he thought was right and helped those in need. Mahakala gets name dropped which I didn't remember from when I read this the 1st time which spoils a fair bit. Now my hang up is that its revealed Maha and the real Dai have the same Role and Rule so thats why real Dai cant be Summoned to Tokyo. However the real one apparently entrusted Okuni with his name, body, Role and Rule then how can Okuni be in Tokyo if its the same R&R as Maha? But they mention Maha is cut off from their R&R due to being sealed in the Planes of Nihility. Then why have the plot point of the real Dai cant be Summoned due to same R&R as Maha in the first place? But there's more as apparently Okuni can just use his old Role instead of the real Dai's Role because those can be swapped and given out I guess. This is Ch9?/Ch.10? Odin shenanigans all over again but I'm too tired to think anymore.

If Yig and an enemy are defeated at the same time he doesn't get healed. You can use your own Yig and a Support New Year Takemaru if Takemaru's close enough on the 1st turn move him behind Yig so Yig gets his Charge Skill on the 2nd turn to grant Guts again if needed. Shennong also has Guts along with Dazzle and Evasion to help tanking. Just move them to the corner where Takemaru is to take less damage. Everyone getting Charge Skill Weapon Change to All actually helps Maria since her CS Evo grants her Damage Reversal for a turn. If she does get taken out she heals allies within two spaces a little bit so that can help. Things are even easier if you have the AR Card Where are you going? but it's doable without. I hate being under the weather and this Sheer Cold weather doesn't help. But I finally finished Valentine Snowball Fight. It was enjoyable I think I liked it better than Battle of The Valentines but while the snowball fights were fun and there were character moments within them I felt as if there wasn't as much for the Characters. It felt kinda like a mini Mystic Christmas. But the Event overall was a fun setting changed up the theme to be camo suits/bathhouse valentine but I prefer when the Valentines Events give characters more causal clothes. Tez still being Tez and same goes for Andvari. While it felt slightly out of left field Tezzy Wezzy War Kitty is stupid silly and fun to say. Zab got to have a little fun yet thought about punishment after...so close to the days of Seaside Summer School/Halloween. Which that brings me to how I wish we have more Events like those where we aren't trying to stop the world from ending due to new character of the month we kinda got that this time. We did get a few tidbits from Mephistoples calling us divine one, "My Faust" which after learning about the origins of Meph through that tale I now understand why he's the WR of Gehenna. mentions his useless other half and how he doesn't want him to be helpful as that's when we're in dire straits. They really said screw it spoil stuff with the newer events. Also the black marks on his face are sideways M's I feel so stupid it hit me just now. Then Shennong oh the close eyes open mouth say ahh and the need warmth moments is what drove my desire for him to have a Valentine Alt 200 fold years ago. (I wish LW was 10% as greedy as Fire Emblem Heroes with alts seriously Lyn got two alts within three months last year.) But back to Shennong the things I'd (consensually) do with that man to make him moo in my hotel room this Event would make Shaytan's fall from Eden look like childs play. The fact he said the teasing parts with Arsa and Zab right next to us

But I will say all of that could be due to the fact they don't want to be useless and cast aside but would be okay with being cut down (I assume it would be more noble to be killed than alive and deemed/feel useless?) hence their actions in the MS as they're codependent on Yorimoto. I can acknowledge being apart of the driving force for their actions even if I'm not the biggest fan and again this is stuff we can see during the MS so not really new ground.Shinya actually enjoying himself after leaving his old Guild due to reasons (Gee I wonder why?) was nice But it felt a tad samey his Rule was the focus. Him actually being happy Tanetomo hates him was interesting and he even uses his Rule to exploit people at Tane's expense of course they did say it was a waste that he didn't use it like that. His interactions/parallels with Girimekra was nice though.

We know now was tricky and seemed invincible but eventually died securing Yori the title of Noble Source. His reactions to us were interesting to see since this is the first on screen interaction with him and Tez making it impossible for him to avoid us.Girimekra was the standout and really it wasn't hard reminds me of Suzuka/Tajikarao and Licho. Wanting to prove himself to be one others can rely on yet fails. He's a Shadow/doppel/Maha like situation granted being from Shangri-La/Deva Loka tends to be slightly confusing. It is admirable that he never really gave up despite his doubts even if he felt bad about the support he got but everyone needs help at times. Airavata being a more reasonable/neutral? entity was a nice change of pace yet was kinda there then gone felt like the outcome could have been the same without them. In the end even if his actions changed things slightly, still lost to the Warmongers, and still really doesn't have a full answer for Gorozaemon was kinda refreshingly realistic yet still feel good and both were Guru's at one point. Also Giri has very little SFW art.
