I don't agree with some skipped stuff but people seem to be bored of the midgar part a lot so I can forgive it. It changes some boss encounters and sometimes the plot (route B btw). It's really cool honestly and way more fun to play than the original since you get tons of materia early to play around with. Highly recommended if you have an itch to replay. It could be one of those alternative timelines from the compilation. It's very well done.
