No, that's for if you want to cash out early should you have managed to roll the girl you were hoping for. The automatic conversion only happens after the banner's already ended and you can't spend the points anymore.

Also the new Kuma game we're all going to be forced to play for rewards in the somewhat near future. Looks like Crusader's Quest but will have ""edgy porn"" according to the producer.

hopefully they put the scene descriptions on the banners and we won't have to check a wiki. I played midnight girls R and there were a lot of fetishes that didn't appeal to me, but they were nice enough to put descriptions on the banners.

I like the music and art a lot personally. Sprite sex could potentially be very hot too but the "edgy sex" bothers me, hopefully it's not NTR and it's just rape scenes like monmosu.
It also can't be worse than Rlyeh so it has that going for it too since we can only go up after that.
>>
>>1994053
Crusaders quest was an idle RPG and the trailer looks heavily influenced by CQ so it's probably the newest idler but now Kuma flavored.

well at least I'm not getting my hopes up at all this time so my disappointment will only extend to "tired apathy".
The spritework is nice though. I know how hard those are to make and I find them fun to work on so I'm glad they chose that for the style at least, even if it's probably just because that's what the other game did.
>>1994054
I would agree. at the very least it's hopefully not going to be nearly as horrendous as r'lyeh turned out to be.

man, this collab event is such ass. I don't know half of these characters or their names or care about any of them. there is no humor at all. it's so dry and boring.

I don't think they're gonna top the Plurucrus Arc any time soon. Honestly, I loved Part 1 of the end, but I had similar feelings for the collab girls in Part 2, where none of them really had any reason to be there and there wasn't much of a connection at all. But in their defense the event wasn't originally intended to be split into two parts and they brought back all the main characters for the first part both on TD's end and for the games visiting TD as well. So it seems to have been a problem from needing to fill in the gaps for the second half, which thankfully got carried by Herocrus and the Three Protags themselves being incredibly kino in it, so the four tag-along girls ultimately didn't really need to matter too much in the grand scheme of things as it was still a satisfying conclusion and the original cast still got to be included at least.

This event doesn't have any of that, so you're just stuck with the tag-alongs who will be introduced in this one event and then never seen again. At least Meeden showed up prior to her being the welfare, since she was around when Ossevia was introduced. Plus r'lyeh was very poorly shoehorned in for no good reason and there's not really any focus much at all. I honestly didn't even bother keeping the transcript I made of it, I just binned it. It's a shame since it felt like it was supposed to be an important celebration for Castle:RE, but it's just lackluster.

It's a bit late but the last time I did that I looked back to see six enemies dead and a dialogue box there since the game gives no sound indication of that happening and during the later event stages similar things happened a lot so it felt like more effort than it was worth.
I just ended up drawing while I was doing it.

gameplay/setting wise, yeah mmtd is great
the paygating is shitty and so is the powercreep and a lot of newer scenes. even a lot of newer designs just suck. knowing that all the problems that it has been suffering from for over a year now are all because they decided they'd rather spend the budget on making not one but TWO idle games is not helping either. event stories are getting shorter and they fell into a pitfall of a lot of newer events focusing on just four new girls who have barely any screentime and then will never be seen again. the ones with alts for pre-existing girls or that feature older girls are the best ones since they usually go on longer and have more comedy in them.

At least I'm not the only one who was mad about that. She's not even that good, she's built to only really function well with aliens, and alien teams don't even need her in the first place since if you're running full aliens the tripod and chupa already put every level on autopilot for you due to how broken both of them are.

Like, sure I guess I saved some future gems, but they really need to stop trying to constantly push a new paygate. My biggest worry is a girl I like getting an Anniversary Alt that becomes cashgated and I feel very bad for everyone that's had that happen to them already. Lulu isn't even in my favorites list but Dragon Lulu simply did not deserve to be locked behind a paywall. Especially with how much everyone loves her.

They're doing that specifically because everyone loves her so they're milking her popularity.
A good example would be Kumafes Lulu too, Kumafes part 1 felt like a big cashgrab that didn't have to exist since the story for pt1 collab was just
>HEY WE'RE HERE ARE YOU THE DAD?
>No wtf
>OKAY BYE GOING TO THE NEXT WORLD!!!
And the story for the characters is hidden behind actually rolling for them and doing their bond stories which is just stupid since it would have been actually great if they took the time to give everyone a proper story like with last year's Kumafes.
Though at least all they did was drain people of gems in their respective games before part 2 and not paygate the characters but it still feels bad since everyone in this part 1 basically got screwed out of a proper event story.
>>
>>1994378
>They're doing that specifically because everyone loves her so they're milking her popularity.
No I'm aware of that, and I know they've done that before too, my point was that I wish that they didn't do that specifically because it means that all the people who like her but can't afford to drop $32 of one character will miss out on either their favorite girl (if it's a collab) or a new character they were interested in or their favorite girl's new alt. Nothing hurts more than seeing something you really want and then realizing you can't get it.

And I agree that the first half of the KumaFes felt very rushed and pointless, I saw other anons pointing out communication problems amongst the different game teams too, plus the bugs and stuff. It's just unfortunate because I do really love this game but my fondness for it is why it bothers me so much because I just want it to be better.
>>
>>1994393
I'm hoping pt2 Kumafes is better and they manage to redeem themselves, we'll see.
>>
the game's wikiru attempting to ban/condemn all negative comments or criticisms of the game in favor of trying to make a hugbox doesn't really inspire confidence either. they've been full on 'don't ask questions just consume product and get excited for new product etc' tier for a while now. even then there's still a lot that keep popping up solely because of how much the game's been messing up lately.

as an aside i actually did find a japanese discussion board for mmtd and rlyeh back when rlyeh had first launched but i was laughing so hard at what they were saying that i forgot to actually bookmark or save the page and i've been unable to find it again. alas. the best was the endlessly ruthless comments about the story and special effects, like someone asking if it should be considered a form of workplace harassment to be forced to watch them. they also had a field day at it achieving the second place of shame. i need to look for it again when i have the time (and remember to do so lol).

>>1994397
I think it should be a happy medium honestly. It's tiring when the thread for your favorite game is just shitting themselves and dooming like a /vg/ thread but it's also tiring when the thread for your favorite game is pure toxic positivity no complaints allowed the game is perfect and you're just jealous also like a /vg/ thread.

Though striking the happy medium is hard because people tend to get carried away towards either side and this site is filled with shitstirring trolls that live and breathe just to get a rise out of others.

By the way enter the Serial Code:
>CP033-410CONNECTSP
To get a free ticket, it's not a special ticket or anything, but a free ticket is a free ticket and maybe you can luck pull something, who knows?
If you don't know how to enter a serial code, go to the menu screen where Vivi's floating (the same one you use to look at the inventory/pictures/videos/etc) and click the button at the very bottom left corner and it should bring up the prompt to put the code in.

See you in roughly six months, Hollowcrus. Love this guy.

I don't have any styles for Sekien yet, although I do have Shizuku (her Kappa partner), so hopefully I'll be able to get one for her so I can use her on higher difficulty stages since so far I've only used Sekien for her chapter in the main story.

Also, going off of that being my main interaction with her, Sekien also probably really, really needed this vacation.
She has gone through a lot.

Now this, this is a perfect intro
Even if I'm not into dog girls I still love these morons, honestly seeing Tellum act like a totally rational detective in the prior crossover purely because Master isn't there and she doesn't fall for a fake makes everything she does even funnier in hindsight since she IS as skilled of a police chief as she tries to assert herself to be, she's just so monmusu-brained that she reverts to total dog behavior any time she's in this guy's vicinity or he's personally involved in the matter, which is 99% of the time. I bet he could get them to jump off a cliff by just saying 'good girl', but he would never abuse his power and authority in such a funnyterrible manner.

Playing through the Girl's Creation story and if this ends up being true for all of them it honestly makes this whole thing even funnier than it already was.

it's funny, i only noticed this due to the same thing being posted twice, but the translation tool does seem to be pretty well accurate this time. it just cuts out all the character tics. teruru ends almost all her sentences with 'wan'/'woof' because she's barking like a dog.

Not sure I'll actually do this for every story across every game. It's just way too much for my spare time in a week.

>arriving at Iris Cloud, Nord and Fiona talk a bit about what she's learned about the place from Putra
>Fiona imagined a more bleak and desolated world, but they landed in a clearing with no mist
>unfortunately, the baby bear is missing
>it should be in Iris Cloud at least
>Kuro realizes she also called a pervert from Athenes which might have also muddled things
>anyways we need to be on the lookout for both
>Nord suggest contacting her most trusted person, the Conductor before we cut away
>Bouguereau is lost in the woods wondering if she's been scammed for just wanting to see pretty girls and their panties
>the baby bear landed with her though and she finds it comforting and beckons it to just her
>however, more appear
>she's briefly surprised, but is ready to accept them, but then they split and their numbers grow right in front of her and she quickly catches on they're multiplying

>it's the pervert!

>I'm an artist who loves pretty girls and glimpses of their panties
>by the way, where can I see the pretty girls you told me about?
>Bouguereau explains she was attacked by the multiplying baby robots and narrowly escaped with her life before getting here
>Kuro doesn't want to believe it, but Bearko suspects Kuro
>Conductor suggests returning Fiona and Boug to their respective worlds as the Railway Corps handles the situation
>this plan is readily accepted as it seems like they should investigate their own home worlds and hopefully they can come back to visit after this is over

My girls are from the PURE LOVE side, before the foul, foreign injection of hase-p! They will be sent to no such place, you hear me?!
Although I do feel pretty vindicated to know that it really was just forced in and that's why punishment always seemed so out of place with everything else in the setting. At least my favorite girls are spared the worst of it.

memes aside, apparently the pixel artist working on dot abyss was following MTD and is a fan so I wouldn't be surprised if this game is chosen for a collab.
It'd have to be a SFW collab though because I can't imagine anyone being happy if their favorites end up becoming public use toilets in another game.

>>

Wasn't it already revealed to be brothel sex? Apparently it's a setting/world thing that Dot Abyss has a lot of people from another worlds and they're trying to return to their original worlds.
Also, the girls have two different outfits for combat and brothel because they lose all their combat powers inside the brothel and just become powerless whores, literally and figuratively.

Not keen on the idea of getting attached to a character, liking them a lot and then sending her to get fucked to anything that moves.

I logged on to aigis after a very, very, very long time and I learned that apparently your mailbox can be maxed out. Probably have like 500 rolls in here too.
Shame that this is on a completely different account from my normal main acc with all my kuma games and Aigis is probably too old to allow me to transfer the account via code.

Do you know the process to do so? I played Aigis a long, long time ago and had forgotten about my account. Came back like last year to play the kuma games and never missed my old stuff until now.

I don't, but I'll try and see if you can and if so how.

I wonder how they handle Google/iOS accounts then since I doubt those are guest data and don't need DMM to be played.

So now that kumafes has reached it's climax, here's my thoughts on every game so far (leaving one out for obvious reasons!)

>Flower Knight Girl
Extremely, extremely, EXTREMELY dated game. This shit is so old that I didn't even bother doing anything other than logins. The girls are really cute but this game feels like it's from another era.

>Girls Creation
It's okay I guess. I like the tactical gameplay but not a huge fan of the characters, none of them really stood out to me and caught my eye. Also not a huge fan of dark stories so my final rating is probably just a simple "It's okay".

>Mist Train Girls
Seems cool actually but my biggest peeve is that you need to set your PC's timezone to JST or else your stamina bugs out and you can't progress or advance and that's honestly such a gigantic wall.
The girls seem very cute, the setting seems nice, it's fully voiced and apparently they're decently generous too but the JST thing has me mindbroken.

>Twinkle Star Knights
Cunny game. This feels like the designated lolicon game from Kumasan because damn there's actually so many loli characters in this.
Story is just the regular battle harem thing except the MC is actually strong and helpful unlike the useless and indecisive beta MCs battle harems used to have which is very nice in a world where everything wants to be a tragedywank. Also apparently it's the most generous one out of the Kuma games?
>>
>>1995569
That seems fair, I liked the girls in GC a lot, but I understand that the setting of a heavily art-themed game is going to be pretty niche. I do love it for what it is though. It's also not egregiously dark in an edgy middle-school way, and balanced it out well, which helps.
I haven't tried MTG yet though and I can't even pretend to like the other two (sorry). Although the main character from TSK seems pretty cool at least. I still know nothing about the setting or story though.

What is CRI率/CRI率上限+20%?
I know it increases crit rate but the upper limit part is vague. Does it mean you can go to 120% crit rate and then you can crit twice or something?
>>
>>1995621
It's the terminology used for the cap limit.
Ordinarily, critical hit rate is capped at 50%. When certain girls get a benefit that buffs their critical hit rate, it also usually buffs the critical hit rate cap to accommodate for it and allow them to have a potentially higher-than-normal crit rate. The best example I can think of is Waemawa, because she's pretty much built entirely around this. By default she's already at the 50% cap and has bonus +50% crit damage, but whenever she uses a skill her critical hit rate and the cap both increase by another +50%, immediately putting her at +100% and making every attack she does guaranteed critical hits. As far as I am aware, 100% is the hard cap for critical hits, and even if you did get over the 100% it wouldn't mean anything since you're already guaranteed to crit anyway.
>>
>>1995622
So that means at 100% health Shimoamazu is guaranteed to crit and my second subskill is not entirely wasted on her. (I just realized that she has +50% crit upper limit, not 20%)
Though its probably better to give her attack instead maybe.
>>
>>1995624
I guess you got a dupe bonus of her, congrats anon. And yeah that should be how it works, that loadout should be fine. Honestly even without a natural crit bonus, that subskill is pretty good. I gave it to Okyuu for the Chapter 13 Challenge Stages and then put her next to the yokai not!sandy healer and combined that allowed her to blast her way through the labs with significantly boosted damage thanks to limit break critical hits hitting like a train.
>>
>>1994368
Agreed.
>>1994369
This does suck and it happened to me with tantalum, but it's not really a big deal.
>>1994372
Does this really matter now that we have aliens that are nearly as strong? Plus the only content hard enough that even wants units that strong is the youkai bosses. You can clear everything else with your favorites.
>>1994373
I still enjoy most of the events. The collabs were the first events I haven't enjoyed in a long time. The first kuma collab was bad and the tower defense collab was awful. I had to look up so many words and names from the evil guy, and I still had no idea why he was going on about half the time like with mitsuhide and seimei randomly getting mentioned. Plus he started off using katakana which is a pain to read and then randomly switched to not speaking like that for some reason. I would say the designs are still really good, and most of the time the ones I like the most end up being free units, which is even better for me. I pulled for the blob without even reading her kit, which I normally do not do. I really like telulu's alt in the current event and she ended up being free as well.
>>1994376
I personally don't like lulu, but it does suck for people that like her since she is always put behind the cash wall. I guess that's what she gets for winning every popularity contest.
>>1994952
>>1995080
Yea, loving the current event. I had a good laugh at the kuromi part.
>>1995497
Don't forget kuromi's costume scene is her semen draining like 4 dudes at the same time.
>>
>>1995636
>kuromi's costume scene
like, the x-costume? i thought that one was just her as a human having sex with a gigachad version of master. although she does still rape a lot of people who aren't him, anyway.
>>
>>1995646
Kuromi's X-costume scene is exactly that. Kuromi only fucks some dudes on some of the earlier chapter h-scenes. Just another of many things they've moved away since they realized the audience wanted something else.
>>

>Figure I'd try to trudge through chapter four to get Cthugha because he actually does things and it's getting more interesting, because they're the only one who seems both competent and like it actually cares about it's followers

>"how did you fucking idiots even fall for this"
>"aren't you his oracle, listening to him is literally your only job'
>Protagonist: WHOA GUYS I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG

You know what?
Fuck this.
I shouldn't have even bothered to try. It's literally the worst possible thing they could've done and even the story can't pretend it doesn't make all of them look like a bunch of absolutely pathetic drooling neanderthals. It isn't just bad, it completely derails what could have been interesting and thinking about it only makes it even worse and keeps raising more and more questions about the logistical issues of it all.
I know this is my own fault. But I was just hoping there could be at least ONE thing in this absolute travesty, just ONE thing that they might have done right. Cthugha is even the enemy of the other GOO and they advertised it's brother/allies as missing and it's people live in a barren land so there's a lot of directions to take this in that would make sense.
But no. there's nothing. it's not even him and his own bloody oracle can't even recognize the giant flaming eyeball that she worships. what a waste.

Ended up managing to squeeze in one finally playthrough right before maintenance started, it was honestly pretty fun. I even trained up Kuromi so she wouldn't be far behind everyone else for this. I might have to try and beat more levels this way.
Or, at least more events. I don't think I could get away with this in some of the newer chapters. Okyuu, Aqua and Suzu have remained perfectly good, but I already tried to use Rin and Selene in Ch.12/13 and they got obliterated pretty quickly.

She lets you drop 100k+ damage at will, but if you already have units that can deal that amount of DPS willy nilly which is more common nowadays, Monk bombs become less worthwhile.

Regarding Mealus, some bosses have nuke attacks that deal enough damage to kill themselves if reflected. They're probably on guard for this now, but it was funny watching Jinrye jump on a lego(Mealus) and die.

Should I get myself a second healer? Sometimes I feel like only having one good healer is not enough. The problem is Lulu is calling to me even though I have enough good mages. I already have Atheel so Elta or Titarea are the only acceptable ones. Maybe Titarea as she is dark not fire.

Hilarious, 10/10. I'm glad they were able to stick the landing after all.
While I'm not sure how it goes in all other games, something I did find neat was that while in GC it's just a bunch of the infected baby bear robots who combined into the giant BABUMI, in MMTD it's initiated by the lone Baby Bear Robot, who noted it tried to manipulate the bearkos into helping it spread, and because GC meantioned there was still a singular "original" Baby Bear Robot out there, the one BABUMI fought in MMTD (from my understanding) seems to be the specific Baby Bear Robot from the first half of the story.
The reason I bring this up is because GC's event actually has an epilogue to it, which I held off on posting after seeing it at first because I wanted to see if MMTD had something similar or not. And while MMTD doesn't have the epilogue, MMTD's side of the story does make what happens in it make more sense.

They punched BABUMI into their OWN home dimension, and all of the Bearko's shameless behavior and their tendency to make everyone else deal with the problems that they cause comes back to bite them when Black Bearko gets hypnotized by the Original BABUMI to want to take care of it and completely forgets it's still a parasitic lifeform until Bearko freaks out upon seeing it again and they realize that now they're stuck with the patient zero of the 'kumademic', all while it starts to rapidly multiply inside their own house and they're scrambling to figure out how to fight it on their own.

sorry buddy, unicorn supremacy reigns here
>>
>>2001897
I know you're trolling but the majority still weren't a fan of punishment and the last interview made it clear that it was just tacked on after the fact by one guy which is why it clashed with the rest of the game. They also seemed aware of this and started having a lot of stuff that was just x-gang-rape or magic traps or such so the girls could avoid engaging with it themselves. I still don't like it, sure, but it's better than the alternative for the setting.

I'm going to write in the next survey (and also redo the current TDF one) not to move monmusu under the black label and keep it as kumasan white though, since I might as well join my pure love brothers in fighting the good fight. In any case it wouldn't benefit the game so it's better for them to just leave it be.

if you think he’s trolling then don’t take bait or play along with it
>>2001936
in all fairness that “one guy” is the producer.
in any case hopefully they keep it split because the thing that pisses people off the most about niche groups like cuckfags is when someone tries to force their fetish into something else against the wishes of its main audience (which is why punishment was so hated in the first place as it’s literally that and isn’t even integral to the setting since you get sub skills in plenty of other ways) and they are doing the sanest thing possible by not torching their whole kuma label to the ground.
hence the note that they consulted with everyone over the decision to not do this (RE: “this is a very bad idea let’s not”)
>>2001942
you already posted this, but they did suggest costumes as an idea, so there could be a kuromi cosplay in the future.

The replies are awful honestly
>What, you don't want your favorite girl to whore herself out at a brothel and get raped by many men? Do you even love her? Fucking unicorns

Like honestly, what the fuck is up with these people? The worst part is that they see themselves as chill guys too and anyone that speaks up against cuckshit is a vocal unicorn. Is this really the fanbase kuma wants to cultivate now? Are they just trying to implode the company from within or something?
>>
>>2001972
the reason i pointed out how the "one guy" is the producer is because he wasn't doing damage control with that; hasep is the guy in charge. even if he hadn't said it, just one look at him makes it clear he probably never liked 'pure love' in the first place and this was always what he wanted to do. but he knew that it was a very niche and unstable prospect at best and something that would be DOA if it tried to be mainstream or get a studio off the ground, so he started off the company doing more normal and profitable games that he knew would find far more success and be much more stable long term. so that way, he could eventually have the funds to make the one thing he actually wanted.

which was this.
an edgy NTR/prostitution idle game.
that's also why he injected a minor variant into one of the other five games to test the waters and the backlash that he got influenced his decision to make it it's own brand and try to separate it from the mainline 'kuma' studio titles, as that's his actual damage control to try and prevent the whole ship from going down.

so
>what the fuck is up with these people
if you needed any more proof that the answer is "mental illness" then reread parts 1 and 2 about how one guy is risking his entire brand and sucked all the devs and funds out of it's five games in order to create something he knew would not have much success purely because his pornbrain compels him to.

Do not put her behind a paygate
>>
>>2002081
Wish granted, she won't be a pack unit but will be a paid gacha instead. Hope you rike!
>>
>>2002075
It's not even edgy, the scenes are vanilla as fuck. They could fit the pure love aspect too as long as they reframed them as happening on MC's room rather than some brothel.
But for some insane reason, the massive retard in charge decided to add the fact that all your girls are whoring themselves in a brothel for no real reason at all so the people that wanted a hardcore/edgy game get disappointed and the pure love people are in arms because nobody has any clue who this disaster is for.

Maybe the Chinese were right in the end and rioting like they do is the only way for companies to understand. Shame that cuck abyss is locked to JP IP and JP Timezone.

huh. i guess they felt like they needed them to try and make it.

>>
>>2002106
>but maybe stuff like that would just be too depressing and sad for even most of the audience they're after.
Pretty much, yeah. I personally have jerked it to extremely fucked up shit that would make people question my sanity but the only way I can find it arousing is because I have zero attachment to the characters.
It's a doujin/image set of a fictional girl getting fucked and treated like a sex object that I'll jerk it to and I'll never see again.

Meanwhile games like these get into players lives by selling them story, characters and a world. And how am I supposed to feel attached to a character that gets treated like a disposable onahole? Or a world that runs on porn logic? It works for H-games because you'll play them, enjoy them and shelve them but even said H-games give you options to avoid the bad ends where the heroines get raped and mindbroken so I really don't understand why a game like this had to exist.

>>2002109

Not that anon but the paywalls combined with my shit luck have really soured me on the game lately. Nothing feels worse than getting fucked and having to ceiling two banners in a row then seeing the characters you want get paywalled.
The shitstorm with Rlyeh and Cuck abyss certainly isn't doing the game any favors either, it feels like a very rough period where I legitimately question the sanity of the people managing the game.
>>
>>2005176
>legitimately question the sanity of the people managing the game
i've been doing that for months, and for a couple of anons who've defended it in the threads as well. the deluge of bugs that keep cropping up (some shamefully bad and literally gamebreaking) and excessive powercreep compared to before combined with event stories being of lessening quality is simply sad to see, as was what turned out to be the reason for them: i.e, funding garbage. they've at least started to try and fix mmtd's problems by going back to buff tons of older units and attempt to rebalance things, but when you add in a literal auto-win button then you've still cut your lifespan in half.

at least lulu got to assert total monmusu dominance though. that glorious trainwreck of a launch day was the hardest i've laughed in a while and that was easily the best part of it. as long as they can keep building on the girls that made people like the game in the first place they might be able to pull up eventually.
and yeah it hurts seeing the thing you want get cashgated. don't blame you at all. but i think what hurts the most is seeing something you like start to deteriorate and knowing it could be doing better, if it was just treated properly.
>>
>>2005171

nta but i think having it's funds and staff sucked out of it to help develop those two games actually does have a lot to do with the mounting number of problems the game has been running into lately, at the bare minimum all of the technical ones and the slow/delayed response times. some of them they wouldn't even address publicly and just silently fixed a week or two later in the hopes less people would notice.

>>
I'm just sad that all the manpower, budget and effort went to literal garbage.
I could have forgiven if Rlyeh was a modern TD game deserving of their new slot in the TD collab but it looks and plays like hot garbage then it's revealed they have another new game that turns out it's like someone wondered what if we put cuck porn in crusaders quest.
>>
>>2005196
i'm more mad about r'lyeh because i really think it could have been good, but they couldn't even commit to the concept, or even the designs, or ultimately anything.
i check the x account once every week or two to see if there's any design that's halfway decent yet; the last thing they did was decide to create a "tsathoggua girl"

you know what tsathoggua is?
a giant, monstrous sloth/bat/toad-like gargoyle.
you know what they made?
a fucking catgirl.
didn't even try. it's so fucking infuriating. there's so much potential for something unique and they utterly waste it all.
>>
>>2005197
Considering the game scenes are mostly generic as fuck and maledom, you shouldn't be surprised it's not using lore accurate elder ones.
Rlyeh isn't a kumasan game, either.
>>
>>2005201
i'm not surprised, and i already thought the launch designs were mid at best even before the whole 'all the scenes are terrible' part, but i think that it is fair of me to say it's a new level of disappointing to take 'bat/sloth/frog monster' and make a literal by-the-numbers cat girl so generic i'm surprised there's not a hidden barcode. like at least everything else looks like the thing they're supposed to be.

>>
>>2005209
One of those just looks like a pokemon that they forgot to color in
>>
>>2005219
Even in english I have huge issues finding the correct subskill, I will go through my list several times looking for the right one and still miss the couple ones that say Bow or Staff depending on what I'm looking for and those are the easy ones that have a unique word I am scanning for.
Are they classed as attack, defense or support is unknown as they can often fit in 2 places but only count as 1. At the bare minimum they could do them in different colours to help.
>>
At least I finally know how tall everyone is
>>
>>2005225
It needs a filter by class option that is on by default. Automatically hides all other class subskills if you are setting one for the selected monster girl. For example, choosing subskills for a priest would only show priest and generic healer subskills and hide all other different class specific subskills. That would cut down the clutter by probably 60-70%.

First time I arrive at an anniversary with 100 rolls (I started around the MGQ collab)
I got my biggest targets and seems like if I get 50 more rolls I can select Chrome too. I'm gonna rush like crazy once I get back from work.
>>
>>2005536
How are the compared to their original versions by the way? Different niches? Sidegrades? Straight up upgrades?
I'd prefer the former 2 if possible than shelving them for good.
>>
>>2005537
It's an upgrade for both unless you just want to zero down a boss with practically no def, then R Suzu outdps thunder suzu.
>>
>>2005601
NTA but Suzu has been a mainstay for me on single target DPS for quite a long time now, especially when you kit her out with things like boosted crit damage or limit break. Her bow might as well be a machine gun. She's especially helpful in the labrynth and later story chapters for rapidly taking down elite tanky enemies in addition to being a very strong girl for boss fights.
Although it might be helping that when Okyuu grabs her guns she completely shreds the defensive stats of anything that she attacks, especially when she's using Octuple Shot, so the significant defense reduction that she inflicts on the targets Suzu attacks probably helps her a lot. Suzu getting a pure attack bonus from her weapon is very helpful for her too.

That being said though, yeah Selene is just a straight upgrade. Suzu was extremely helpful in those areas, but regardless of how I kit Selene out she would either get overwhelmed or just be stomped by whatever she was trying to block before she got the chance to stun, which is part of why I ended up finding Aqua reliable since even if she doesn't have good damage she's still ridiculously durable and never ran into this issue. Comparatively when I've tried out her Copper Dragon Form the Whirligig is pretty fun and gives her a unique playstyle; it's kinda nice.
>>
>>2005428
was that school asta? thought that was the anniversary one that was in a pack. I remember an anon saying that the school one looked like the anni one and just assumed it was the anniversary alt.
>>
>>2005609
nta, but the School Asta is specifically an alt costume of her Anniversary Version, hence her being the Shapeshifter Girl and not Mimic Girl and having the orca hoodie. Her original alt is paid only, but the school!anni version has a design almost completely 1:1 with it, and was announced that it would be included with all future anniversary re-releases, so it's sort of like they created a free version of what was originally just a paid unit, like how they make alts for other paid-only girls such as psycho vorpal bunny and Miteras.
>>
>>2005612
this is genuinely a bizarre decision to include her. is she in standard pool too or is she excluded from that?
>>
>>2005618
Excluded, because she's an anniversary alt
>>
>>2005622
wait so they ran her on a banner with silva and then decided to keep one of the girls on that banner limited? wtf
>>
>>2005631
Because she was an anniversary alt; they announced this at the time, anon. This is also why they announced they would be adding her to the "starting player gacha" that exclusively has the evolved anniversary versions of girls, since she's an anniversary version of Asta. Her and Silva are frequently paired together and they likely thought that it would be a fair idea to keep in line with their usual attitude on anniversary characters being uniquely limited while also allowing at least one of their paywalled anniversary girls to FINALLY be obtainable outside of cash. They also explained that she'd rerun with the other anniversary units any time those reran too.

I don't really think this is that big of a problem.
>>
They always do this. When a yokai debuts outside of yokai related event the banner is just standard pool and after it ends they get moved to the limited Yokai banner.

i really don't get the decision to both have dolcera and then make her the focus of a bunch of character shilling as though she's already well known and established when this is the first time she's actually doing anything. i at least get barrow and laplum since they've both appeared a good amount and barrow in particular is both the focus on several storylines and also is actual literal trash and her doll version turning borderline unusable. dolcera isn't even popular and they barely even changed. she basically just got a white dress and that's it. it's so fucking lame, it's an absolute waste of the slot.
>>
i do really like barrow though so i am glad she finally has a version that is not useless or incredibly annoying to use. i'll definitely pull for her at least.

Now this, this might actually be my favorite Cockatrice Monster Design I've seen in a game, this is pretty metal. Charis came from a great place.
Glad to finally have the non-paid costume for her too at least; I've been getting to use her and Dolsera again in the new Labrynth levels since they're on my usual team, and I think the chickens and roosters popping out with her skills is pretty cute. Maybe she should get an anniversary alt and be suped up, I think she'd pull it off well if they pulled from this.

Trying to parse Myneto's dialogue, I am reminded of a youtube video about an experienced Japanese/English speaker trying to deal with a dentist's Japanglish.

>Gespenst is enveloped by an unusual heat
>Antimo! Antimo! Antimo!
>Myneto! Myneto! Myneto!
>standing side by side, no, facing each other, gazes fiercely clashing, are the demon and angel girls
>Antimo, endorsed by the Dams Party
>Myneto, leader of the Myne Party
>an election was about to begin

>an hour earlier
>MC is being suddenly awoken by Antimo
>asking what she's doing here, she says to run in the election being held today obviously
>election...?
>Vivi pops out to explain
>she has always had trouble with decisions and more often than not, violence ends up being used to settle things
>however, she learned from Suzu, about elections, holding a vote, and choosing what do by majority rule
>okay, but on what?
>Special Envoy to Gespenst Island!
>was there such a position!?
>Vivi created it just now to test how an election would go
>it will grant residence rights and have authority to set rules to make things easier for foreign monmusu
>there are two candidates, Antimo, backed by the Dams Party who is here right now as well as Myneto who leads the Myne Party
>Dams Party? Myne Party?
>Vivi says Suzu told her parties are required to run for election, who's a centaur girl!?
>MC tells Vivi she didn't have to include the last bit
>Dams party sounds like Damstow, but Antimo is running?
>Damstow was the initial plan, but she cried and canceled at the last minute, so now it's her
>as always she's wiping Damstow's ass for her
>that's tough
>don't act like it's someone else's problem, Goshuujin, elections require campaign committees, as in the candidates strategists
>so, become my advisor and we'll wipe Damstow's ass together
>ehhh?
>and so began the sudden election for Special Envoy to Gespenst Island
>>
>back to the angel/demon girls chanting and Myneto and Antimo facing each other
>Myneto is quite enthusiastic finding this way of battling Antimo novel
>elections are like festivals, right? so let's enjoy it!
>time for the election to begin, First Heart Open Bright!
>First...?
>oh you mean clashing with our statement of intent/manifistos
>mani-fist?
>it's fighting after all?
>angels and demons, their fists(some with weapons) clash fiercely, equally matched
>Myneto notes how Antimo recruited MC and reveals she has an advisor of her own that's even better
>better than MC?
>who even?
>Everyone! Do you want to do something naughty with Master? If so, give Myneto your clean and naughty vote~
>it is Kuromi
>Myneto shows high confidence as Kuromi knows the ABCs of monmusu
>Antimo is wondering why a demon girl has teamed up with an angel
>Lilith to be more specific, but now MC is wondering why she's evolved
>an evolved Suzu shows up to explain
>Suzu, head of the election committee has been given the role of overseeing the new election system
>in elections, each person casts 1 vote, but if we suddenly gave everybody on the island voting rights, it would get out of hand quickly
>it was decided to break the evolution restriction and limit actual votes to monmusu who could evolve
>there are a limited amount and most are reasonable to talk to
>Kuromi comes by to thank Myneto for her work on the Manifist as she handles the groundwork, she's good at handling roots, you know
>Kuromi then notices we're Antimo's committee member and notes we're an expert at handling roots too
>handling roots?
>you've got some magnificent hanging roots, you're undoubtedly a root-playing master!
>a dirty joke after all!
>not missing a beat, Kuromi advises Myneto to go handle some sticky roots and they fly away to get votes as we watch in stunned silence
>Vivi advises we not be lax as Kuromi has quite the amount of friendship and trust already
>in that case we should aim for more newly evolved monmusu
>>
>Antimo leading the way, we ask where to
>she has apparently heard a plausible rumor that a dragon girl has evolved
>a respected figure amongst dragon girls, if we get her on our side, she would be a very valuable source of information
>Vivi notes while Antimo didn't seem keen on the election, her intelligence gathering is diligent
>she is representing Damstow, so she's certainly not enthusiastic, but that means she's working from behind
>she sighs, even without motivation, she gathers info, but lacking motivation, she stops gathering info, a strange coexisting paradigm
>a boisterous voice laughs and yells, if she gives up so easily, she'll be far from her goals
>clad in pure white clothing, it's Dolcera
>newly evolved, she's now a Gaia Dragon
>Vivi notes she's a highly regarded figure on the island, sometimes considered its Earth Mother Goddess, it will be a huge boost to recruit her
>Dolcera asks what we're talking about
>explaining the election, she's happy to help, but she notes it seems like the votes have to be won by force
>if Antimo isn't strong, then she wouldn't be worth supporting
>so I just have to fight you?
>not a bad idea, but she feels there's some other way
>>
>an exhausted Selen gets up, surprised and embarrassed to let MC see her like this
>Dolcera says Selen asked her to help her with lower body training
>that's supposed to be secret!
>Dolcera doesn't get why she's embarrassed, she just said lower body
>Selen clamoring, tries very much to impress on MC she wasn't doing anything weird
>MC a bit intimidated, doesn't press and accepts the explanation
>Antimo notes Selen is evolved, but also one of the Four Idiots of Gespenst and probably on Kuromi's side
>don't call me that!
>also, well Kuromi did ask me to vote for Myneto, but MC is on Antimo's side..., hmm...
>Dolcera finds this the perfect opportunity to bet their votes
>if Selen wins, she'll vote for Myneto, if we win, Selen will vote for Antimo
>Selen notes this matchup is way too much a disadvantage
>Dolcera balks as Selen has just overcome her special lower body training and gained the embrace of the Earth which causes Selen to go through with it so she doesn't talk further
>Antimo reminds MC to look up the event gimmick
>Selen losing, it seems she's voting for Antimo now
>it's a pretty light vote change
>MC still has no idea what would even be different depending on who wins
>Dolcera's now joined up and helping, she has a lot of stamina to burn having just evolved
>Selen passes as she's way too tired and wishes to rest until the vote, it seems her training also isn't too relevant to all this
>asking Dolcera for leads, she leads the way
>>
>following Dolcera, we come across Barrow and Lapurum who were waiting
>Barrow's annoyed at her being late as Dolcera was the one who suggested they meet up
>she's probably just late from giving advice, Lapurum explains
>MC is surprised to see Lapurum outside her flask
>she's evolved and become a Moonchild girl now
>freed from her cramped living space, she's having the time of her life actually being able to touch stuff
>Barrow says she doesn't have to be that touchy as she watches while blushing slightly
>Barrow is now a Wight Lord
>the three newly evolved girls now share their evolution anniversaries which is quite the coincidence as they're all something of advisors
>Dolcera asks them for their votes which both Barrow and Lapurum are fine with
>Barrow feels it more appropriate for a Wight Lord to vote for the demon side at least
>Antimo notes there's not really any hard rules about that sort of thing considering Kuromi
>at this rate, Dolcera is confident about our prospects of winning
>hold on a second!
>rushing in are Rin and Lauren
>Rin, of the Four Idiots, are you here to steal votes?
>no, we've come to steal MC!
>Me!?
>Lauren is also a bit surprised, since while Rin asked for her to vote Myneto, she had no idea we were on Antimo's side
>Rin just wants to battle for MC
>if we win do we get your votes
>okay
>pretty laid-back ain't it
>Lapurum not down for MC to get poached right after joining feels like putting in a bit more effort
>Rin and Lauren losing, are forced to vote for our side
>thinking about it, if we just join your side, then it's as if we're winning!
>really laid-back
>Antimo delegates them to gather votes
>Rin wanted to be with us though
>they say time apart deepens love
>also, if you work hard and gather votes, MC will have to praise you
>running off, they expect a lot of praise and petting later
>Vivi notes Antimo's cunning
>it seems she just gets worked up thinking about Damstow wanting to rub mud in her face after all this
>>
>now at the volcano, Barrow complains about the sudden scenery change considering we were just in the forest
>it can't be helped, we can't find evolved monmusu and Myneto's faction is on the move as well
>Antimo asks Dolcera if there are really any evolved Monmusu here
>don't know!
>Dolcera remarks that why monmusu evolved hasn't been learnt yet, but she theorized that harsh environments might cause it
>so it was just a guess
>as Barrow gets annoyed, suddenly proving Dolcera's hunch right appears Igni and Teruru
>Barrow worked up from the heat already begins the attack to their surprise and confusion
>come on, let's get their votes quickly so we can get out of this hot place!
>Igni doesn't know why, but she lost
>that feels a bit better, sorry for taking it on you
>if you're going to apologize then don't do it in the first place! Teruru yells at her wondering what's up
>explaining the election, it seems they were already aware
>while they were intending to vote Myneto, since they lost and survival of the fittest, they'll vote for Antimo now
>in a system introduced to settle things without violence, it's core rules are centered around violence
>Lapurum wonders what Myneto's side are doing as they seem to be gathering votes way faster than what basic violence could do
>Teruru explains Myneto and Kuromi's campaign promise
>if they win, you get a free day with MC all to yourself
>so instead of violence it's a deal
>they apparently said offering benefits is a must-have for gathering votes
>Antimo sees, you can certainly sway people quickly with words, but violence is a more reliable method
>MC asks isn't without violence how this is supposed to go?
>Dolcera says not all monmusu are smart, violence is simpler and fairer
>Barrow delirious now, asks if they can leave the volcano
>Antimo decides to go provoke Myneto to test the waters
>despite trailing behind, we make progress by taking their votes, what does Special Envoy actually entail, as MC ponders, to be continued

Her garbling if this is Antimor's "Story Mishion" because she's the welfare in the event was pretty funny once I managed to parse out what she was trying to say, but ManiFISTo was definitely the highlight

>'But I don't like it when people call me a violent person and I'm not sure how to make a decision if I am personally undecided on an issue myself'
>'hmm, I will create a new system that does not involve violence, by holding a vote!'
>'And if someone doesn't vote for me, I will use violence until they are forced to agree with me!'
>It takes until her side starts attacking people unprovoked for her to realize she's already forced the entire thing to revolve around violence again
And she wonders why her island has that reputation lmao
>>
How the island isn't under endless war to obtain the shota is a complete mystery. Are the poachers that much of a unifying threat?
>>
>>2006225
A sizable portion of the island already is at war to try and keep him for themselves, many of them attempt to kidnap him routinely, but besides the poachers giving them something to focus on, Master is protected by a sizable group of Monster Girls (and Vivi) and in some cases gets them to let him go on his own using different means.
>>
>>2006225
There are only a few unified factions like the orcs, lizards, etc and it's implied they have been punished by Vivi for attempting to take over the island. So now there's no war but it's near complete anarchy with Goshujin-kun cult being the only unifying factor. If any single girl tries to keep him to herself they would have to fight the rest of the island and that's not feasible.

>>2006225
It's mainly Vivi keeping the peace through threat of 10,000 years of pain repeated 10,000 times, then oblivion. Having your actual God bodyguarding your greatest desire is a pretty big deterrent. That and she does in fact use MC as a bargaining tool and accept some monmusu's requests.
>>
>>2006261
On one hand it's kind of sad seeing Master thinking about how he can never have any real 'love' relationship with someone because he knows full well it will endanger her life when 99% of all the other monster girls gang up on her out of jealousy

On the other their behavior on trying to actually enact it is almost always incredibly funny, Rin's constantly screaming death threats and has tried to murder inanimate objects or even Master's MAIL just because she thought it might've been sent by someone she hates

If they don't mention a stack cap, then it stacks and for Barrow there is no stack cap. Barrow is a top DPS who simply hits attack cap on her own while also providing support to other units. Dolcera is also extremely powerful. A trifecta unit that has Tanking, Healing, and DPS. I'm actually somewhat certain she could solo every stage in the game though there's probably quite a few units on that theoretical list now.

>>2006335

>>
>>2006383
>what is the attack cap?
anon, the idea of "maximum number" should be self explainatory, the powercreep lately has been all about girls who either immediately hit the attack cap, make everyone else hit it or just start providing damage multipliers because attack buffs have been powercrept so hard that anything less is meaningless now.

she also pretty much immediately hits the crit cap on her own too for good measure. the fact she's still not a contender for the best dps is just a testament to how obscene things have become.
>>
>>2006380
And now I've figured out how to do it properly, why did I even try with AI first
>>
>>2006388
For the reason you probably used it in the first place, which I'm guessing was to save time thinking it would be able to handle it without much problem. I don't mean to grill you or nothing, but that's pretty much where a lot of the problems with AI happen, because it's only really helpful when it's being used as an assistant to help you with a task you're currently doing. More often than not the AI will just cause problems and just make it take even longer. Even if the task should be something as simple as "copy a list of names for me please", it'll find a way to mess it up somehow.

I do think that one anon who made some AI stuff with Okyuu was kind for doing that, though, and I still appreciate and like what he made. The new years one was pretty cute in particular. I know some get all up in arms about the art/soulless prospect of it and I understand that, sure, but the biggest problem with AI is really when someone tries to rely on it for a project, especially coding. I'd wager some of the tech problems MMTD's had recently were caused by an attempt to have AI help with the staff shortage, even. There's really no other way I can conceive of how Mahamut broke the attack speed system as badly as bane broke batman's back.

Ok, I'm at least making progress, the list of names is full now, just got to pick the best translations.
I'll probably go by that new rentry to be safe.
>>
>>2006417
Names are just hard. I try to go by in-game pronunciation, but a few girls don't even say their name in their introduction. Past that, it's choosing what way to spell that pronunciation. Argyuro/Argyro for example. It's definitely pronounced Ar-gyu-ro, but clearly intended to be after Argyro, the Greek name meaning Silver, which also has a slightly different pronunciation. Bau/Bow's another one. Most people would normally spell it Bau, but it's intended to be like the Bow in Bow-Wow since she's a dog-like kobold. Lauren has had her name officially shown as Loren once, but the same Japanese is typically just translated to Lauren as it's the exact same pronunciation.

A lot of names being element references also makes MTL a bit dangerous. Early on Teruru and Tantaru's names were just directly translated to Tellurium and Tantalum as they just mean those elements. The fact nearly every name is a reference with near global geographical possibility due to the game pulling from all mythology further complicates matters. Neal which would be normally spelt Neil is a deep cut as her name is a reference to a specific music album illustrator with a Manticore.
>>
>>2006417
>>2006437
It's pretty tricky sometimes, yeah. Some of the references and the deviation from them can be difficult, I think another good example is Aether/Atheel because her name's clearly supposed to come from "Ether". And some would just be choice, whether it's preferred to keep it 'accurate' or go with the most logical/correct way to spell the name even if the pronunciation is the same either way. As an aside, I know some people have spelled her name 'Okyu', but her name being spelled with the long 'ū' and her pronouncing it with an 'uu' sound like 'you' is why I've always spelled her name Okyuu.
>MTL
I think Suzu getting turned into Tin and Rin into Phosphorus (since that's the literal translation of their names) are probably the funniest things that happen from it, it reminds me of another case where a slime's name got garbled in every single line in the game.
>>
>>2006386
>"maximum number" should be self explainatory
ok, but it's not. crit has a cap with a set percentage for each. can you only raise attack a certain percentage? is it just 9999? the only attack buffers I've ever used are the youkai fox, promestein, and the alien tripod which wouldn't get anywhere near max if it's 9999.
>>
>>2006496
Attack cap is 1000% of base attack or +900%. Both absolute and percentage modifiers apply. So a unit with 1000 base attack would be stuck at 10000 base attack even if buffed with +20000 attack and +2000% attack.

So here is a full list of names (with a few extras that can be ignored), if anyone does not like the idea of their wifes name being misspelt then feel free to edit this.
I don't expect anyone to care that much but you never know.
https://pub.microbin.eu/upload/emu-viper-shark
>>
>>2006793
>I don't expect anyone to care that much
At first I saw "Viviace" instead of "Vivivace" and decided to just comb through to see if there was anything I could find and possibly correct out of principle rather than anything else, and I made a few other changes (Nigryu (she's named after the spring the Catoblepas lived, "Nigris"), Chrome instead of Chrom (the one from MGQ is definitely with an e), Neil, etc), but then I hit a point and realized that some of the japanese names themselves have somehow gotten garbled.
There is no girl in the name who is named "Clarice", and the AI had changed the first kanji in Charis's name into two completely different kanji, which altered the spelling of her name, as I double checked by just putting the kanji it had in the search engine on the wikiru to make sure. There's also no girl named "Sophia", and I have no idea how "ソフィア" even got added in as I can't narrow down a particular page it was taking that from, and it also somehow turned "Anna" into "Sasha" and "Fermi" into "Feri"
It also added "Lilith" as a separate character despite that only being the name of Kuromi's alt, included "Alma" (as in Alma Elma) twice, had both Aether and Atheel listed independently, and added "レミア", which I also found an odd corruption, because the closest I could find was that being "Dungeon", as in not the dungeon girl but the dungeon area itself.

There's a lot more stuff like this further down too, these are just some examples from closer to the top. I'm really not sure how this happened.
>>
>>2006793
>>2007014
tl;dr what I'm trying to say is that if you want an accurate list of all the names of the monster girls it's probably going to be easier for someone to discard that list and start a new one from scratch instead of trying to double-check and correct all the mistakes that it made.
>>
File: lost.jpg (25 KB, 448x368)

actually, wait a sec, I think the Pastebin that one anon made HAS a complete list of names for all of the Monster Girls currently present beyond the last event and this one, and this one is just alts, so it'd really just need two girls added. I think we could just copy paste that over, and then just add in the japanese names and/or get into arguments over spelling lol.
>>

Ok actually don't worry about it I think I can do it, thank you pastebin guy for your dedication to make this list in the first place, I'm pretty much just fine-tuning/double checking the names and then adding the original japanese names and any added alts that have come up. II was able to do all the common girls pretty quickly at least so I might be able to finish it today, and once I've finished it I'll just upload it for everyone else.
>>
>>2007051
I might consider going into the in-game encyclopedia and recording every single introduction and isolating all name pronunciations into individual files which you could put along side each name.

What sucks is some girls don't say their name at all.
>>
>>2007051
calling her lotona instead of ROTona when she's a zombie should be a crime

Her name IS Rot-ona, it's even spelled with an R in the intro when they showed it in english and she's animated doing the bow.
....I just forgot to fix it since that's how it was spelled on the list and didn't notice until you pointed it out.
すみません, as they say.

>>2007088
If you feel like doing it, go ahead. As an aside, somehow the abandoned english wiki actually does have isolated audio voice lines for all of the girls who are actually on it and I've used some of them, but even then some of the pronunciations are still a bit unclear. Ameri says it like "Am-er-ei" and I can't tell if it's meant to be Amelie or Ameri since I know she's named after the Americanum element. I'll probably go with Ameri, unless I find something clearer.
>>
alright got all the way up to Maridula but I'm probably done for the day, it's just a bit tedious. I'll likely finish it tomorrow. There were four girls missing, but three of them were epics (Pyuri, Nutaba, and Polpe) and even though I quite like Polpe I can't really be surprised.
>>
>>2007247
>>2007252
Swimsuit Lotona's event is what makes the L spelling an official one. Another issue is that Nip devs can freely choose L/R as they please and well... simply use both.
>>
>>2007324
They can simply just use both L and R related puns for those names in japanese due to how the language works. I've mentioned that before at least. In any case I think Rotona makes more logical sense due to her name clearly being a zombie pun for her status as a rotting corpse.

Although I admit the intro/opening is not exactly the most reliable source of trying to be 'authentic' either, and sometimes I do wonder how much they get the difference. After finding the alternate spelling her name was based off of (plus her being called Lucy very often), I went with "Lucyle" for her, but I don't think Rucule really fits as much more than a literal transliteration to english. A similar reason is also why I translate Perili with the 'l' instead of as Periri, because her name is based on Beryllium, so for an accurate translation instead of a literal one it makes more sense in english.
At the end of the day, it's just gonna come down to my personal opinions that are definitely objectively correct trying to decide the best way to properly import the r/l into english in order to preserve the most accurate intent behind the name.
>>
>>2007331
There's too much subjectivity in all that which is why I prefer going by pronunciation as much as possible. Especially if they actually do clearly differentiate between L and R in the name. Lucure is pretty concretely Lu-Cu-Re when she says her own name in her introduction. Lucyle would imply something like Lucille.

Hi, is there a way I can play uncensored on my phone without a VPN? Or if not what VPN do you use? Thanks
>>
>>2007539
I don't think that's true, I've been going about it in an objective sense to be impartial.
That being said I don't have all of the girls, so I haven't heard all of them say their own names. I went and listened to her introduction, and she does seem to use a 're' sound, so I'll go with Lucure instead, as it does seem to be more correct.
>>
>>2007624
I was able to get it to work on an android emulator using qooapp, you could try that
>>
>>2007706
You can listen to the introduction of unowned characters in the encyclopedia as it's the default voiceline that plays when you open their page regardless of whether you own them or not.
>>
>>2007853
I do know that, as I've done it before.
It's just either remembering to do so or not thinking I needed to, as really putting Lucure aside I usually only check the voice lines if the name is too unclear and could go one way or another, which I've done a few times. Although like you've said, this unfortunately doesn't help for girls who don't say their name in their lines, and that's really been who I need it for the most, which is why I guess I forgot to do it for Lucure.
However, for some of those cases I ended up using the Monmusu Ecology series, because Vivi says all of their names when introducing them herself, and it was particularly helpful for Atheel as she doesn't say her name at all in any of her isolated voice lines. So instead I checked there and Vivi very clearly pronounces her name as "Atheel", which settled it pretty cleanly thankfully, as her name was one of the most confusing ones for a bit.
I definitely should've checked for Lucure though, I guess I was just getting kinda tired at that point and didn't really think about it. I do like her from what I've seen of her, but like Okyuu she doesn't really seem to show up that often, at least nowadays.
>>

Congrats anon!
And no, Anni!Kuromi is not exclusively good against males; her life steal and attack boost abilities work normally, they just get double the bonus against males as a ribbon effect. She was also the most buffed girl the last patch for buffing anniversary units as they added a magic damage multiplier to her skill, which I'm assuming is going to help her. In any case congrats on the double pull; hope you can get the last of the four, having all the main girls with their super forms should be pretty cool.

I might try to aim for that at some point, but I guess I just want to continue to save, just in case. I'm pretty happy to finally have all the girls I wanted for my team at least.

How do I unlock skill 2?
Is there a requirement or something?
>>
>>2009358
Periodically, the game holds the Ranchiki Festival, which introduces new EX II Skills and allows you to unlock the EX II Skills for any girl who has one. It's only during this period, however. You clear the event levels with added challenge conditions to increase the points dropped from each level, and the cost of the EX II Skill depends on the rarity.
The next Ranchiki Festival is probably close by; it might honestly be the next event even, given the cycle, but I lost track of it due to all the collabs recently

Note: you're allowed to unlock the EX II Skills of ANY girl that you buy the skill of, even if you do not actually own the Monster Girl you're getting the skill for in question. If you attempt to do this, the game will give you a couple prompts asking if you're certain about it, and will then allow you to keep the skill if you proceed, and it will stay in your inventory until you manage to roll or obtain the Monster Girl, at which point she will unlock her EX II Skill automatically. I did this with Atheel, Waemawa and Lucure in advance because I wanted the three of them and didn't know when I'd be able to do it otherwise. Waemawa came quickly thankfully, but I only got Lucure and Atheel this week, so the EX II Skills had been in my inventory for months at this point.
I think it was totally worth it though since now they get to have them without me needing to wait.
>>
>>2009366
I'll wait for my turn then
>>
>>2009385
Happy I could help. Hopefully the wait won't be too long anon. When they do a new Ranchiki Festival it's usually around the start of every other month, so I think it's probably coming up soon as the previous one was at the tail end of February and ended the start of March.
>>
>>2009318
I managed to get 1500 points and buy her.
What's so good about her? I see she procs self-poison and boosts herself from that but I have no idea on which values are good and all.
>>
>>2009557
duplicate bonus lets her be put on melee tiles
high DR that gets doubled during skill + stun immunity + defacto poison immunity because poison constantly buffs her
constantly poison buffs herself

the thing is her skill doesn't just do a tremendous amount of healing but also inflicts piercing damage on all enemies in her radius, rapidly, which becomes increasingly powerful the higher you pump her attack or buff her. at high levels of attack, anniversary rin will rapidly shred through enemies while still constantly healing all the other girls. she's not just "good", and she isn't just one of the best, poison slime rin was the single best healer in the game for years with her only competition being promestein due to the sheer power of her healing combined with high damage output.

this is why the pastebin anon felt it particularly noteworthy to point out that, after all this time, the anniversary dolcera they made has finally succeeded in powercreeping anniversary rin by simply being incomparably superior to her in every single possible way.
which i hate because dolcera's fucking lame, but that's why poison rin shows up in a lot of stuff like rentals.
>>
>>2009588
Holy shit thanks for the detailed explanation
Damn I ran out of mats on Kuromk
>>
>>2009594
yw, rin's true soul and i love her for it. when it comes to anniversary suggestions rin is (or at least was) one of the first suggestions for top priority. even with dolcera's arrival she's still good she just can't hold "the best" healer title anymore unfortunately, but she held out for years and for a unit as old as she is it's impressive.
she does rely on external buffing to really make her cheese everything similar to franci but even on her own she's really strong. the reason prome competed with her is because prome was for a time a candidate for the best attack buffer in the game, but prome's long since been powercrept out of that position too.

i dont mean to discourage you though rin is great and she feels great to use. she'll serve you well if you make a team with the four anniversary alt girls. at the very least i think she's still the best hermit/orb healer in the game, which i guess helps a bit, because priest is just objectively better between the two and dolcera being a priest (and thus having higher attack for her damage aoe) is a factor in why she turned out stronger.

I decided to go back and listen to the Charydbis Girl's isolated introduction again just to double check and make sure, but seeing as you're here, I thought I would also go ahead and ask you what you though her name's pronunciation was supposed to sound like. I don't really care if someone is narrowly better. I cared more if they were passable. I really like when starters of a gacha have usable versions specially if they are constant members of the cast.
Her being the 2nd best healer in the game is more ofa huge bonus
>>
Rin held out for years because she's overtuned and can fulfill multiple roles very well. I'm pretty sure she was among the first of the power creepers so this disgruntled talk of her getting power crept is just the pot meeting the kettle.
>>
>>2009690
perhaps, but it's less "i'm mad rin isn't the bestest healer anymore" and more that they took one of the most lame and undeserving literally-who girls in the game, made her the anniversary pick over all of the legacy characters who would feel more celebratory to have the slot, and then they gave her a kit that's clearly designed to be an objectively direct upgrade over rin in quite literally every single way.
i get it's a gacha, power creep inevitable but they didn't even make her unique she's literally just got the same kit but better to try and make rin obsolete in order to make you roll for her instead.

i'll not go on a tangent over it but it just reinforces the sentiment of trying to replace all the older girls with a bunch of 'random girl of the week' ones who have zero personality and then vanish immediately, which is really the core of my biggest complaint. especially with the increasingly lame and tame designs. so many of the original girls never even get used anymore, much less show up in anything at all, and i usually look forward to the anniversaries because it's nice to see some of the original cast of girls appear again. dolcera had like three lines in one ranchiki as the fifth or sixth "nature mother" girl they've made. if the kit had at least been unique and still was just really overpowered i' probably not take as big an issue with it.

i guess i just never saw rin as "that" overpowered, either, unless you're going out of the way to stacking buffs on her. still the best healer in the game due to being versatile, but you had to actually unlock the melee slot for her, and she had a very long cooldown and her poison buff can't cap herself out. i usually used priests over her for pure healing, as in terms of that priest is just better.
>>
>>2009631
This is more the openness in romanizing the L/Y sound in general. Lyu versus just Lu or Yu isn't something that gets across very well in English. I personally always heard it like Yu-pu-che where the oo sound in pu is quick, but there. Lyu, Lu, or Yu is all fine to me, but doing a hard cut between p to che loses some pronunciation I feel like.
>>
>>2009695
Trying to push new characters is just the lifeblood of any gacha game. There's a certain staleness to focusing on a permanent core cast that gets dozens of alts where you can fill an entire squad with a single character. It's a chicken and egg situation. Are units powerful because they're popular or popular because they're powerful? There are simply major examples of it going both ways and devs do try to push characters with power sometimes. Rather, anniversary alts were all popular or base cast characters before this being rich get richer alts. To get introduced in a Ranchiki is already a shortstick, so I would guess Dolcera's designer really pushed for them. To say a character shouldn't get things because they're nobody just feels mean to me. Power doesn't really correlate to anything like character development or foreshadowing because it's a silly game about monstergirls where very arbitrary monster evolution exists. Literally any girl could get a broken alt and this just feels like being sore because it's not somebody you already liked.
>>
>>2009707
the best years of a game are always the early ones before the cast gets too bloated, i suppose.
that being said i think the power/popularity dichotomy is only ever really prevenient in english/western communities; it's absolutely not in japan. it's very much "popular because powerful" there. this isn't an mmtd or even gacha exclusive thing either though i think this just applies to pretty much every japanese overseas game fanbase, they usually have the most soulless meta chasing tastes. even lulu has this as one of the factors for her crown, because she used to be very powerful back when her barriers were live-or-die, and her magical girl alt helps her stay around.

and yes it's a silly game but i think a lot of the initial cast is well-rounded and unironically fleshed out at least, even if at the core they are all still very dumb funny girls doing stupid and entertaining things. it's why some of them even hold on as stragglers in the popularity polls, even though they keep getting pushed down the list and will never be higher up or in the tens again, there's still a fondness for them. i don't think that's a contradiction, either, as it's just a symptom of the 'popular because powerful' clause ensuring that they'll keep being pushed down as they get powercrept since ultimately nothing personality or sex wise is going to compete with a girl who literally puts the game on autopilot for you in the eyes of nips.

>To say a character shouldn't get things because they're nobody just feels mean to me
it's not like i'm saying she should never get an alt, i want to see them at least try to revitalize some of the older characters who are lost or never used anymore. even if i don't like them, like lagos or atheel, it's kind of a shame that they never show up anymore and i think they have a lot more potential for a cool alt than "literally the same design but white > black".
>>
also
>this just feels like being sore because it's not somebody you already liked.
firstly, i think cool anni alt designs can salvage a girl's concept or aesthetic for me; base fris and igni are pretty mediocre but their revamped looks are some of the coolest in the game, especially fris
secondly barrow is one of my favorite girls who was only ever hampered by her utterly atrocious units and now she has one that's completely busted so it's not like this is some kind of "you're just mad you didn't get a girl you like" situation
i wish barrow hadn't gotten this during the powercreep pallooza since it's kinda hard to use her without her killing everything by herself, but if i put her kinda in the midway field or something then it's pretty fun without entering total wightlord dominance mode. and if i ever feel like having her just totally solo something for me well that's my choice and she can do that now.
>>
oh uh for clarity's sake by the way most of this griping is not for general events, introducing new girls in new event i understand is pretty much necessary and fundamental for this sort of genre and the cast bloat issue is merely a drawback of the medium of a gacha as a whole, and yeah powercreep's it's own issue whether it's new alts for old girls or just new girl that's better than all old girls etc.

most of this is just very specifically directed towards anniversary since they're my favorite time and i generally have a higher expectation/appreciation for them.
it's one thing to introduce a new girl, or give an old girl a new outfit or costume, for example. but with the anniversary alts, they drastically change and revamp the design, because they're "evolving", and it allows for a lot more freedom and creativity with how to take the initial concept.

put everything else about raikon aside, her anniversary alt is fucking awesome. looks phenominal. dramatically changes her design to include even more arms and even her multiple arms are now fingers on two giant hands, it's just a really creative spin. lulu turned into a dragon/plushy hybrid, they made frith and igni into proper dragon girls, suzu is an alicorn with gigantic wings now, selene got wings and a giant buzzsaw, mauro and waemawa look like demigods, franci is a giant lovecraftian spider, platina became a mythologically accurate dullahan complete with the whip made out of a human spine, they turned teruru into a dog-bird from some obscure demon even!

even for the other two, barrow's skull companion fused with her staff and she's carried around by a throng of screaming undead ghosts and laplume became a total manic magic girl bursting with flames and at least doubled in size.

so yes i think dolcera was a waste for the anniversary slot when she and even her weapon look almost completely 1:1 and the biggest change is just 'dress turned white'. they could've easily done something better for improving her.

These are my healers by the way. Any tips on them? I was using Titarea and would like to keep using her because I LOVE this pale evil design.
But if Phylis is good too I'd be glad cause I'm into angels.
... she is an angel right?
>>
>>2009725
Titarea is fine, use her but also carry on leveling with Rin or Dolcera as a backup for when things get tough or you just want a second healer.
Phylis and Serah are fine, you'll probably want them when you make a elemental team.
>>
>>2009725
Principality. She's unfortunately very much a just a healer healer which means she's not great outside of giving light tiles to light teams. Rather you have the two best healers in the game with Poison Rin and Dolcera. Titarea will always have dark tile conversion and stealth as a niche which makes her great if you use Thiel and Letia, but the theoretical dark elf or evolved Thiel and Letia are likely far off.
>>
>>2009725
Phylis is an angel girl yes, and I find her pretty useful. She gives bonus health for allies on light spaces and a breadth of status immunities (stun/blind/petrification/freeze) during her skill and resistances to them off skill, so she's pretty useful for certain challenges or against specific enemies. She also has the 'light allies get light tiles' thing. Titarea is best if you're using her comboed together with Thiele and Leita (the dark elf sisters) because she enables their traits on maps without dark spaces as well.
In terms of pure healing specifically she's probably the best one you have; Rin can fill many roles and also has solid damage and Dolcera is strong if you need her too.

>>2009699
The reason I wrote it that way is because when I'm hearing her pronounce her name, she speaks the "p" with a short quick "peh" sound, making that part of her name sound like "pêcher" (/pɛ.ʃe/). Although I think the french sound is probably a coincidence; I don't think the word it sounds like has much to do with her.
>>
>>2009695
i'm not a meta player or anything, but poison rin always felt weak in high end content because she is extremely squishy there and generally dies in one hit.
>>2009712
so what you're saying is that everyone in japan loves the futa idols?
>>
>>2009729
>Principality
To be clear, that's a type of angel; she's based on the principality from the popularized noncanon hierarchy of angels, which is why she's after Oshnee, because the first three (9 -> 8 -> 7) are angel -> archangel -> principality, and Oshnee is the archangel girl (Myneto is the angel and I think she was shown first but she didn't become recruitable until fairly recently).

The hierarchy is also the reason why there's that common occurrence in media where "archangels" are an angel above the basic angels and yet there's also the group of angels who bear the title of "arch-angel" specifically and are the ones at the top.

>poison rin always felt weak in high end content
no i agree with you somewhat that's part of why i never felt she was too overpowered per-se. without the max health boosting, sure she's still very strong and powerful, but she's also very frail and takes a while to recharge, so you have to protect her so she can actually do her job if you only gave her attack boosting subskills.

>so what you're saying is that everyone in japan loves the futa idols?
tragically (for them), and unfortunately (for them), you cannot vote for dual units, and popularity vote counts consider each an individual character, and their individual units are not broken.

but if japan was allowed to vote for the futa idol unit SPECIFICALLY, then yes i am saying that said unit would probably skyrocket into the top five solely because of how powerful it is. literally every japanese comment i saw that explained why they voted for chupina/hairui was "this character is overpowered and i rely on them so thank you for carrying me" and even lulu and some of the others had a lot of comments like this, such as frith's anniversary alt and that ball loli who gives everyone +50% crit rate who i can't remember the name of.
this is not necessarily derivative, it's just something i notice as a very common reoccuring trend among japanese audiences for games. i don't even like them but i just genuinely think that's how it is man. i'm pretty objective, or at least i try to be.

i think people seem to prefer tantalum between the two of them though, since she did get in the top thirty and the other one didn't
>>
>>2009739
You're welcome anon, glad we could help you.
I'm sure they'll add another angel eventually, i think excluding collab units it's just three plus alts so far.

>>
>>2009772
you know, the dragon veins in the game have that golden glowing geo crack effect on them in the yokai events they show up in.
if they made more of her skin looked like earthen/stone dragon parts and then gave her "cracks" like golden glowing veins and glowing eyes, that might work. i'm not sure how much it'd elevate her, but it'd be a cool idea and suit her new alt.

>Myneto reveals that Kuromi actually approached to join her before the election even started
>Vivi finds that really suspicious, she guesses she heard from Suzu, but to go that far
>Kuromi says Suzu told her that if you win the election, you gain the power to move the world
>Suzu was only saying it was possible
>Kuromi's plan
>become Myneto's election manager
>help her win
>then use her power to expand Mulamuland all over the world and expand the original store into a super version as a sacred site
>Myneto thinks it sounds fun
>Antimo asks if she's really willing to accept this
>theme parks are a part of human life, if understanding spreads, we could build a celestial branch
>MC is shocked at Kuromi's plans possibly endangering the heavens
>anyways, Myneto gave her speech, now she asks for Antimo's
>Antimo admits she doesn't have any grand ambitions
>rather she was recommended by Damstow and her party
>and she doesn't want to tarnish that reputation
>Myneto is impressed by her sisterly love
>voting time fast approaching, Myneto says it's time for the final battle and Antimo prepares her Manifisto
>>
>Vivi and Suzu establish a commentary corner during the final speechbattle
>noting that Myneto was initially leading, Antimo's side has made quite the comeback
>having MC on their side was probably a big factor
>their violence was quite straightforward as well
>Suzu mopes as the election she envisioned wasn't fated to be...
>there's no way monmusu could understand election law...
>Vivi tells us to ignore the commentary being muttered
>anyways, it's quite the surprise the Myneto's party plan was to expand Mulamuland
>if branches were established outside Gespenst that could indeed bridge the gap between the island and the outside world
>the Antimo camp though is primarily concerned with Damstow's reputation
>Antimo gives the impression of a conservative stable leader
>also, above all us, MC is by her side
>we all want to protect him
>about Damstow, there is some concern about her abusing Antimo's power once elected
>the clash of Manifistos is about to commence, we will watch until the very end
>go Myneto, go Antimo!
>Vivi gives the grand start as there's no one else to give the signal
>as Myneto and Antimo's mani-Fists clash, monmusu cast their votes one by one
>as Suzu announces voting is complete and counting will begin, the two finally collapse as there is no longer any more sides with Myneto and Antimo respecting each other's mettle
>elections are quite exciting to watch, they might be popular for quite a while
>Amelie suggest one tomorrow to decide lunch's dessert
>Barrow is amazed she can show her face so soon and asks if she's cheating the vote
>Pelorus has been keeping watch on her to ensure not
>Barrow can trust Pelorus, anyways, she has no intention of running and goes to hand Antimo some water
>Kuromi tries to give Myneto special Lilith brand pink water before Selene knocks that off to give her normal water
>finally the count is done
>>
>it was close, but Antimo has won
>cheers abound
>Myneto wonders if she let her guard down too much
>Antimo thinks there would've been no chance at all if Myneto were serious as they were essentially dead in the water at the start
>however she's not going to let go of her win
>Myneto congratulates her and Antimo accepts gracefully saying it was a good fight with the crowd applausing them
>it seems there's still the winner's speech though
>while hesitant, it must be done, and Antimo thanks all those who supported her
>more importantly, she'd like to give a present to her sister who recommended her to this without her permission and didn't even come
>I will use my authority as Gespenst's special envoy to appoint Damstow as my representative
>and I will throw all that troublesome, boring, and sickening administrative work that will come...
>no, I will make endless, onto her
>grinning gleefully, the crowd now understands why Antimo accepted running for office
>Antimo asks Myneto for her help in creating some tasks
>OK
>Kuromi also joins in hoping to expand Mulamuland still
>Vivi commences the feast celebrating the first election
>and so Gespenst's first election comes to a close with the monmusu not really understanding what it was or how it's any different from violence
>later
>we see somebody in their cell being crowded by endless paperwork as she screams for Antimo to help
>the pathetic screams of a certain demon will echo throughout the island, but that's another story
>and they lived happily ever after

don't think they've ever mentioned muramuraland is a brothel. who would even be working at this brothel? poachers? since kuromi runs it, it's probably a place monster girls go to do stuff in their dreams with MC.
>>
>>2010265
NTA, but it was introduced in an event that's in the archive; it's the one with the 'pink slime girl' who summons blue slime clones of herself, as she's one of the employees under Kuromi's payroll.

It's also admittedly not really a "brothel" per se. It's more just "I made a building where we can all do fun sex related things to master because I'm a succubus brained succubus and sex = best"; but I admit I didn't translate it at the time as I hadn't figured out how to do that yet and I just used the archive to find summary anon's summary of the event in order to get the gist of it.
>>
Silly Japan. Just because you claim there's no insertion happening doesn't mean it's not a brothel.
>>
>>2010283
I'm still calling it a brothel even if I think it isn't technically one since that's basically what it might as well be anyways.

I've used Anni!Fris quite a lot on rental and I find her really fun (although I often also just use her to put down a water space); I don't know if she's stronger per-se but I've found her pretty powerful when I used her.
>>
>>2010418
I would say that Asta will be stronger out of the two of them even including her downtime, in terms of design Asta wins easily.
Also to get slates or mats you do not need to 3 star a map, so feel free to leak and come back to a map when you're stronger.

I had another go at tidying up Lunatranslator, I feel this is the best option to go with that looks most natural.
I just Show and Embed the translations and also Clear the text displayed in game.
>>
>>2010679
It feels somewhat slow when I do that, so I prefer the Show one. Also helps cause it displays the original text for me to compare if they speak in english suddenly

As it turns out Aqua's name is actually plausible to spell as Acqua because of how it's spelled (アックァ) and pronounced (Ak-kwa)

There is no difference other than the fact that "Acqua" is the Italian spelling of the word. Ergo, this would make her also italian/brooklyn like Okyuu.
But I'm too used to Aqua and it just looks 'correct' to me at this point.
Truly, translations are tough......sometimes you almost wanna bury your head in the sand..........

I think Aqua is great, Acqua feels wrong on many levels. I didn't even notice it meant water at first.

That's how I feel too, yeah. "Aqua" just feels like the correct, right spelling of it, at least in particular for an english translation. It's still pronounced the same in english, it's just in japanese that it's pronounced differently.
>I didn't even notice it meant water at first
I'm not sure what else it'd mean, but in all fairness I'd had this on my mind for a while. It was just that while searching posts to see if there was any fanart of her I could find, there were myriad grammatical posts pointing out the distinction between the two spellings and I just figured I'd get it off my chest while I'm still working on the name translations anyway. I'm happy with the idea since it feels kind of fitting for both Okyuu and Aqua to have a connection like that, I just think spelling it "Aqua" just feels right.
Pic related was the only fan art I've found of her so far besides the one pixel-art animation someone made, even though more people seem to like her than I had expected; I'm guessing the main deterrent is simply how Aqua's just pretty difficult to draw. I don't blame them; making her overworld sprite took me around two months.
>>2010736
It means both of those things and also peach. The meaning of the word depends heavily on the context it's being used in. But my point was just that's how her name sounds to me; the problem I was was entirely just with how to write the first part, the 'Lyu'.

why would they be looking to expand if that was their business model? they can't split MC and send him to heaven and keep him on the island at the same time.
>>
>>2011026
>why would they be looking to expand if that was their business model?
idk, Kuromi probably didn't think that far ahead, maybe she's trying to find a way to clone him so everyone can have a goushujin-kun of their very own or something.
