I did have fun with this game but I can't see how the next season will turn out well, feels like a point of no return with all of these awful changes and the devs minmaxing their greed.

I'm simply staying f2p and rolling for whoever I want while putting some effort in PVE modes. PVP is a lost cause anyway.

To appear less greedy, they could divide PvP into leagues to give all types of players the chance to compete without finding themselves up against impossible opponents. NTA but yeah it did harm. Its a combo of c/h spam + must-have one season units + removing pve stuff + whale stats + guild changes. Its a really insidious soft wall having 90 limit.
All the whales have hyper concentrate into top 5 guilds for their ally servers. Not that this wasnt happening under 30 limit but at least whales were spread out, giving f2p chance to ride their coat tails. Battle drills and Clashfront are two big changes that hurt f2p hard. Guild Duel will just be Whale Duel.
Arena and Supreme already had no-member hits and already its the same 3 guilds swamping the top 300 positions.
The game is effectively telling f2p and dolphins to fuck off.

If the plan was always to go with GB Baden, why do this “your actions will have consequences” schtick at all? From what I remember, the choice statistics favored saving Baden. Simply telling the story you want to tell would be better than giving the player a choice that ultimately doesn’t matter.

That’s 10 of 12, and Morgan seems pretty active this season. I wouldn’t rule her out, especially since there’s a timeline where she doesn’t get sacrificed. The game’s been incredibly GB heavy.

I think part of the issue for that is because players were locked out of the GB Baden ending for not choosing enough of the 3 "trust Baba" choices before that point. Like that option is literally unselectable by that point.

They probably just wanted players to spend more time playing or make this season more memorable considering the past two were relatively unremarkable considering they also had to come after Dura season.

EoD and VoM have the same problem where narratively they take place in such staunchly skewed regions that it doesn’t seem like there’s much room for other factions.

At best we get something like Zandrok, a character that’s being released a season before their story debut. Or like Pang, who helped skew things but he was there for an event instead of a main story appearance.

i would say he needs an outright rework but he does surprisingly well in that 3v3man pvp mode we get at the end of season
i think his main problem is all his values (stats, skill %s, and dmg scaling) are just too low for traditional 5v5. same with kafra
