Right click on the tool bar and go to settings, Hook filter duplicate lines is in text processing and there are two different ones, I have ABC one on, though it probably wouldn't hurt to try the S1S1 one too.

This was answered in the last thread but they will only rerun a collaboration pack if they are doing another collaboration event with that series. Tamamo, Kitsu, Alicetromeria, and Vanilla were all reran in the last one, Tamamo and Kitsu being rerun in the second collab as well, and if/when a fourth one happens, Chrome will be reran for that too.

This was my introduction to Okyuu and this is also when I immediately realized who my favorite girl in this game was actually going to be. Introductions really are important; she was the most memorable character in the entire event and she didn’t even have one line! “leg” and “tentacle” are used in japanese interchangeably to describe octopi limbs. If you’ve ever seen an Octopus do that thing where they can alter their appearance and somewhat shapeshifter their body parts, this is essentially what she’s doing. Her two human ‘legs’ are just front tentacles that she makes look like human legs in the same way a lot of other monster girls changed their appearance to look more human.

It’s not a mistranslation. They’re functionally the same to her. She took a cleaver and hacked it off at the thigh to deep fry it and make takoyaki because she’s smart enough to realize that when her pain is temporary and she can just regrow them in seconds her absurd biology has basically given her an infinite money glitch. Honestly this whole secrets was quite comfy, I’ll have to do the Wild Hunt tomorrow but I’m glad I finished the story today. The importance of taking care and responsibility to protect what others can’t! And them finally getting to fulfill their dream of taking Master to the ocean since he’s declined that a couple times when they could’ve solve the not-drowning problem.
Also Bikkinu (somewhat) pulling their leg/tentacle about the whole “by the way if I mess this up you’re all gonna melt into seafoam and cease to exist and I’ll just be out of a bikini and a job” thing (it wouldn’t be as brutal or dramatic). Given some of them have gone to different worlds and done just fine it’s probably more about the body of water itself, and understandably the ocean is nice and they want to keep it that way.
Aqua canonically sleeps buried in the sand for hours at a time so I choose to believe she slept through the whole ordeal because they’d be pretty funny and feels like what would actually happen if they ever brought it up.

First run got 3919, I managed to get to 3942 by using Perili funnily enough, but I can tell the competition is rough. Okyuu and Nonoa are hilariously overpowered when put together though, her SHOOTO is so strong she melts everything that gets in her sight. I think I could still improve my score, but it would hinge on getting a fourth DPS, as currently the other two are Lucule and Mystrana (who are pretty good honestly) and Nonoa mandates the rental space.

I don’t quite understand how pen does better than hydra. I guess she’s just a very strong penguin. If I manage to get Ormea though I think I can make it. I’m sure Poison Rin would help too.

You’re ignoring his clones. As long as they exist, even one of them, Parasitic Lifeform cannot be blocked and retains his invincibility and energy sphere attack. And just like the main body, they also cannot be damaged unless they are blocked. You need to destroy them, or he is simply impossible to defeat, and they come out from across the map to force you to deal with them.

Essentially the Parasitic Lifeform is one of the few bosses that is both a team check and skill check because you need to either have a solid composition of melee and ranged units or the ability to reposition your blockers easily, and he summons them at specific damage thresholds, and if you’re not able to block all of them he simply can’t be killed. He’s honestly a contender for my favorite boss in the game. I think the battle was pretty well designed and he’s a great capstone to that storyline. They also are upfront about all his mechanics but it’s easy to lose track of his guards if there’s too many minions on the field. He’s quite satisfying to defeat, even if the epicness gets undercut by him getting completely lobotmized beforehand. Idiot put the gem in upside-down lmao.

Now I’m just kinda sad that’s not how she normally looks honestly, I think it fixes any issue I had with how she looked so she’s just a cool albino good ol’ chupa. Thick spiny tail, dog ears/legs, and the jacket makes the arms looks lizard-like so she still looks like an hybrid of the two different versions. Also that skull cap is sick. She seems like a staff attacker so I’m curious how she’ll play. Also looking forward to the other four swimsuit characters too whether they’re just costumes or something else. Either way Suzu did a really good job on that costume. Even the oxygen tank full of blood is cool.

Also, are they adding a Boomerang? Because that first weapon description for a new upcoming class sounds exactly like a boomerang. If they’re adding a boomerang I hope Rin gets it eventually.

Well, I think I’ve hit the ceiling on how far these girls can go now, but it’s still really fun to keep battling the endless waves anyway. Okyuu’s just really really powerful there. For fun though I went back and fought the giant crab that you’re not supposed to fight and even without Nonoa skyrocketing her attack Okyuu is strong enough to defeat it, which was nice.
