I might finally beat the game, anons. It only took me 4 years. Been stuck in upper 90s-tier limbo for a while. I started this tour at tier 97 and had a bunch of tickets saved up, so I just dumped as many as I could into my ranked drivers/karts/gliders.

It's a fantastic game if you already have the shit from the gacha, but if you're considering starting it now it's basically not worth bothering. the game is built heavily around gacha powercreep and it feels bad to be throwing single items out when opponents get triple items with a chance of a jackpot spam.

I have been playing this game daily in bed while half asleep in the morning for many years, so I'll miss it, but it takes a long time to get to a place where you actually have enough of the gacha pulls to stop being forced to suck.

I'm going to miss didyougetanon more than the game.
I hope Nintendo does something more with the general control scheme in the future but I really doubt it

Just for fun. You could play multiplayer. Try to get some S+(+) ranked opponents. Because there's rng involved, you might win and mess up their Kart Pro run. Also, losing to an E ranked player dings your score harder.

this game was special to me for years. it was even part of my gaming connection to family members. I don't have the time to play like I used to, but I still have to get soaring jack and at least I'll have a short chance to do so right before the end.

I’m still looking at my coverage for the tracks in the tour and thinking about investments and future ranked tracks and ACRs before realizing that it doesn’t really matter anymore…

My watch is ending soon, it seems.
It was fun while it lasted. this game became part of my daily routine since the pandemic started in early 2020, around the time they started adding the special pipes, crazy, fun times; grinding every single track for its exp and making my own trackers for coverage, getting my top 1000 badges and my occasional top 100. wish I had the time to at least try going for a top 10 badge earlier in the loops just for completionist sake, but now there's really not a point anymore

Spending my level tickets before EOS:
1. Drivers: Pink Mii gives ranked coverage in the Vacation Tour for Peach Circuit R/T. Gold Luigi Knight and Gold Koopa Freerunning join my final list of Lv8 coinboxers (>>2075235) and will have some limited ACR usage.
2. Karts: These are just some pretty karts that I always liked and already had at Lv6. Carrot Kart and Cact-X have unlocked tracks this tour. Holiday Speeder is useful for the Sundae Tour along with some upcoming city tracks.
3. Gliders: These were gliders that I used a lot as a new player up to Lv6 and got passed by newer gliders. Star-Spangled Gilder unlocks Kalimari 2R this tour. Daisy Glider is useful mainly for the Sundae Tour.
I still have enough level tickets to take any Lv1 item to Lv8 for any remaining ACR track gaps. I'm saving cap tickets for a few items that still need to be quad capped for ranked.

Spending advice:
Purchase new and level up Miis with rubies in the Mii Shop for the best deal.
For non-Mii drivers, karts, and gliders: buying level tickets in Daily Selects is still the best deal.

I feel bad for the people who will win ranked on the 2nd week of the Anniversary Tour and reach Tier 80 and get the Gold Mii suit with less than an hour to enjoy it before EOS.

EOS spending: I am playing a LOT of Coin Rush to convert rubies to coins to buy cap and level tickets.
There are only 18 items (13 gliders / 5 karts) that I don't have, of which only 6 (2 gliders / 4 karts) are available before EOS (Reference: pic). So 6 * 70 = 420 rubies. Even if I level up a Mii, I can only buy it 3 times from the shop (3 * 70 = 210). So it makes no sense to keep more than 1000 rubies anymore, especially if the game keeps being generous.
My last 6 items to buy: Fast Frank (Sunshine, Summer, Anniv.), Paintster (Vacation, Summer), Cheep Snorkel (Vacation), Frosty Bells (Sundae), Piranha Plant Hanafuda (Summer), Soaring Jack (Anniv.). I only missed the Goo Goo Pink to possibly have all the karts. For all the gliders, I missed the Jolly Bells and 10 Hanafudas (includes the 6 permanently unavailable).

1. Rosa Chef Lv8/3c->Lv8/4c: Lots of ACR tracks this tour (Paris 2N, Paris 2R/T) and two ranked tracks next week, though both are blocked by Miis. She might be better than my shell Miis for Squeaky Clean Sprint R.
2. Dry Bowser Mii Lv1/1c->Lv8/1c: Lv8 HE ACR coverage for Athens Dash 2R. I can't believe I did this, but there's no reason to save level tickets anymore.
3. Paintster (new): collecting karts. This tour is also the last chance to get Cheep Snorkel.
4. Gold Warrior Wagon Lv8/3c->Lv8/4c: ACR 8/4 coverage for Athens Dash R.
5. Sweet Ride Lv8/2c->Lv8/4c: An old favorite kart that overlaps a lot with Rosa Chef. ACR 8/4 coverage for Bangkok Rush T.
This tour is my first where all tracks have Lv8/4c gliders, so it's nice to finally be saving glider cap tickets.
