The free roll tickets are a noob trap because you still need to spend tickets/gold to redeem what you roll. Every character needs their respective EX weapon (except Juha). Since what you get from the standard banner is random, you're unlikely to get character+weapon pairs. So, despite the gold you're not spending because of the free tickets allowing you to hit more total EXs, you're liable to have a heap of characters/weapons that are effectively incomplete and as such, ineffective. You're better off rolling the rotating banners to keep up with new releases and reruns and have complete characters+weapon pairings. Eventually you'll see a rerun banner you already have or don't want that you can skip in favor of spending some free rolls on the standard banner to fish for things you do want or simply save up for future banners you may want to roll for dupes from.P.S. Once you hit devotion 50+ and MC level cap (60), so long as you do at least 1 gold daily and all your weekly tasks, your income will outpace the cost of rolling every banner rotation.

The two goals to reach in the early game is maxing out your human god/devotion level and having enough strong vanguards to carry you through dopamine. To do the first just progress as far as you can in the main story. For the second you mainly want to focus on the switching banners so you can get both the vanguard and their weapon. Things to avoid:-wasting SS tickets and credits on SS weapons-wasting credits on S vanguards/weapons, if you don’t have an excess of S tickets from the daily store you’re doing something wrong-wasting credits on SS vanguard duplicates (at least in the early game, they are generally the easiest characters to max out so don’t worry to much about skipping them on a banner)-wasting credits on multi search-don’t do weapon exp in the dailies, only gold and in the early game some vanguard exp for the vanguards you use in combat to stay the same level as your HG

If you don't, I suggest you read the boss unit card. You want to avoid triggering the mobs when the boss is about to get a turn, or when the mobs will all get a free attack because you're out of AP. If it does the screetch with a full board of enemies you die, but if you can kill them all first it won't do it at all. You also need a unit that's tough enough to withstand the final bullshit move where it gets 4 free attacks before it actually dies. Double that because you want the weapon for each character, which is on a separate banner. So you should always keep at least 4m gold and 2 EX tickets (or 5.3m gold if no tickets) banked at all times so you can pick up the new character+weapon every rotation. The standard banner primarily exists for older players to fish for dupes when they have excess resources.

Finally started grinding Total War and man is it tedious. Just doing a single Hard battle every morning (can't do Very Hard yet). It's definitely meant for long term play, especially because it definitely tests the depth of your roster. I actually like that you're incentivized to level some of the lesser used vanguards. Probably sucks for newer players though since they won't have the roster depth for quite a while
What are the best single target dmg dealers? The newest spec ops battles (the 3rd and 4th) are absolute cancer and I think the monster that keeps summoning more and more enemies punishes you every time you kill more of his minions

That being said some are stronger than others. Olivia and Juha for instance don't need their weapons and Lissandria is an SS that can DoT most maps down. Basically, unless you're going for 1 round Spec Ops clears you'll be fine as long as you're appropriately leveled and have some skills upgraded and halfway decent stigmatas. That said, grab everyone's weapon when you have the chance. There's a big gap between playable and good.

How am I'm supposed to do these? By like round 3/4, it gets to the point where enemies can spawn, do their setup, and hit the box all before a single character of mine can take their turn even once. Just found out you can apply shields to the box, but I still don't know how you're supposed to wait it out, Lisandria legit kills herself from her passive alone, if I try to use her.

Yea new stage is pretty much an Olivia playground, wish Ines got a buff apart from her demi-god ascension, still use her in the team (because i'm an autist that only build thematic one) but when in a HG comp she really cannot dish out any substantial damage, a worse Olivia in every way, she needs some form of gimmick of her own.

If you put HG in Jesters stigmata focussing on Magic Attack and Speed you can actually solo all 3 levels. The VR defense heavily punishes you for taking turns so you basically just let them all move close to HG and then nuke them once a round. HG can also heal the target if necessary.

As far as I can tell you must have Bella's EX weapon for stage 2&3. Maybe somehow you can clear the 3rd one without it, but I doubt it and there's a 0% chance you can do the 2nd stage on the highest difficultly without it.Anyway I ran HG and Bella only, since this game mode is designed by apes and you get punished for each action you take with more enemy waves. HG is on his leftmost TW trees and built for DPS with his big AOE nuke skill. You need to WASTE AP on movement to minimize the number of turns you get. HG clears the map once per round, Bella runs around to burn AP and heals the the box. That's it, that's the game mode. Fun and interesting gameplay.

I'm a little lost on Mira and Mirana's skills. When is it the best time to use their highest AP skill?Sometimes it does a lot of damage (even turn 1) sometimes it does little damage. I usually pair them together since I think that is what you are supposed to do with their bond passive.

That being said, Juha doesn't really need extra copies of her weapon, so if you're hurting for resources then you can just not redeem the second one.

Fox is actually really fucking good, she can basically double the damage, or even more. The only problem, she's expensive, if you use an AP buffer like Juha and Eugenia instead of her, you'll get the same result for less team cost.

>>2154401If you actually play the game, pick someone you like. If you want to blitz the story with atuobattle, Olivia. Olivia is still good in most content outside of the story as well. Ultimately it doesn't matter though as the game gives you more than enough resources to get everyone eventually. You don't need dupes for EX characters, just roll the first copy of every character and weapon on each banner and save your gold otherwise until you have almost everyone. Ignore the standard banner or use it sparingly.
