yesterday I logged in randomly and noticed the gb already started. 1 hour before reset. Only things left were cheap battles despite me spending an hour rolling, building and upgrading for it. This reminded me yet again how shit everything is in this game. I was literally denied my potential by not having a discord tranny channel where the fights are dictated. so, basically there's a very specific build going around that basically makes cloud nuke every single boss in 30 seconds regardless of the elemental weakness using omnislash. you need very specific mains/outfits/subs/etc but it works

for stg 4/5 you can just play on auto and spam omnislashes right after using cloud's 3, and then refill the lb with aerith's 3

for stg6 you need to get the timing right so it's a little harder but yeah, i'll post the buttons, though there's a lot of room for mistakes on this one unlike crashes

Finally read BC, what a missed opportunity for a boss fight

Is there any reason not to go to Guild Exchange lvl 5 for this last month? Not like we need to save the points.

Also, I kinda wish they'd saved the GB to end in the final week. That way all the reasons left to play could wrap up all at once, instead of this period awkward period where the game's still running for no reason.

I've taken zero precautions when using wemod and have never been banned or warned. The cheats will not even work with some types of ranked content (the battle gets locked up) so it's as if the devs have a way of preventing the cheats but didn't care to implement it entirely.

i just downloaded cheat engine equivalent on linux called pince and search unknown initial value for both health, then set on manual and wait until 1 teammate hit it with the standard attack for like 300 damage, then do "decreased value by 300", and repeat like 2/3 times, and finally set the final 2/3 values found to 1, and it will die in 1 hit. i don't remember the initial hp number because it was big and random

The biggest thing i'm sad did not happen for non-main story related content was having Gilgamesh for an event and possibly as a summon since he got the most overarching sidequest in Rebirth.
The double summon concept was also cool in theory but not used that much, really passed up the possibility of a mudstorm with Titan/Leviathan or fiery tornado with Ifrit/Odin.
