The downside would be having to tab between multiple clubs, which would be annoying if you're just doing dailies. He might have just wanted to go with a more modern style since that kind of retro style might not vibe with a thicc, tights sort of character, which is much more recent in popularity

>>2149136The one thing to say about the booba hag is while that I agree there's some subtle things about it that mean it doesn't fit the retro artstyle (I think mainly it's just the eyes though), the design itself is still simple (good). Hasn't turned to chinkslop overdesign the clothes are straightforward there's some basic accessories no crazy ribbons or layers or anything else. It's still clean and nice.
