It plays like an hsr tag fighter, there's a phase where you drop all your attacks and then the enemy responds, you have choose whether you spend all your AP on attacks or save some to defend based on the actions the enemy will do, displayed at the bottom of their health bar, the round ends and your AP gets refilled.The enemy can also swap and respond to your attacks if they have a team.
