I don’t think anyone really has a good judge of Kid buu or SS3. Kid buu kinda has that Kaiku thing going on though. Early thoughts, it’s between Cell, Gohan and SS3. I’d argue gohans leaderskill makes him the most useful of the 3 at 55%. SS3 has his stacking but you would like his nodes open and gold equips for more consistency. Cell feels like you should judge him for one mode and ignore his ex. Cell isn’t overly impressive at 55%, he doesn’t have a good team and his dependence on the 10% from cell saga shrinks as you get more dupes. Eyeballing it I’d say from least dupe dependant to most would be
Frieza > Nameku >= Kid Buu > Gohan >= SS3 > Cell

500 stones, 2 rotations on Goku and 1 and 2/3 rotations on Buu got me SS3 Goku, GT Gohan/Goten, Str Baby dupe and the banner buff Buu. After scrounging for another 50 stones, I'll do one last multi on Buu's banner plus the freebie and I'll stop there. For now, 5/6 mainline units and all the banner units is pretty good for me this time around. Probably the most lucky I've been for being someone who's constantly throwing stones at banners.

Maybe possible if you’re a whale. Wasting a turn on damage ramp up hurts though, the whole teams damage outside Kid Buu feels pathetic desu. Would probably switch Fat Buu for Buutenks or something. If they would eza Teq Buuhan I think Kid Buu would be the best unit in the game.
I’ve tried sworn enemies and it’s a bit frustrating, I guess it is possible if you run double kid buu and land lucky with Freizas taunt and Int Cells transformation and have Teq cell on the same rotation as him when using the active and no super or crit hits slot 2 but the inability to pick your floater makes it reset hell ontop of rng hell. Think I’ll just accept that this is the make Namek Goku look like the best unit ever stage and move on.

His damage numbers look the same, his defence is better for the opening two turns but it’s not really that much of an equal trade since kaiku has a beam super nullification. If we're lucky, I'd envision each part of the anniversary would have a banner with 2 returning GDC LRs so we cover all 6. yeah, he either needs to dodge or you need one of the other buus next to him to heal on their super before they can take a hit. I'm glad they allowed him to work with the other sworn enemy units, but he doesn't really have much true synergy with cell and frieza. Buu needs to be pretty well built up for you to reliably survive those bad situations. I guess they expect you to let Frieza or Cell slot 1 in some of those bad situations.
Hopefully they give LR super buu the super trunks treatment and the team gets stronger. No BBB on super buu is criminal but infinite regeneration is a gross link

I think I found a bug with SS3 Goku. 3 separate times now, I've had his stats (attacks, dodges, supers, built up defense and attack, hits, etc.) totally reset in the fight.
It seems like this can happen if you use an active skill in the previous turn. The first time, I ended a phase with MV + SS2 active skill. This last time, I popped the standby with buu duo. Both times, on the next rotation, the LR SS3 goku showed he'd been in battle for 4 and 6 turns, but now had all 0s and had his turn 1 SoT defense.
Has anyone else seen this before? I submitted the bug form on the bamco site

he's right up there with super trunks, phy turles, agl kale, and the others as just aggressively, comically mediocre in 2023.
He dropped as the part 2 LR for KALE who he has zero synergy with. Didn't get a 200% leader for nearly an entire year. By the time he finally got a team, he was barely a 6th man on it. Has conditional guard and only guarantees guard against MBS and fused fighters enemies (when there were like none at the time). Loses massive stats and ki after 4 turns. Needs to get hit with guard up to get his additional. Active skill requires you to be under 60% (on a team that heals nonstop) AFTER 5th turn. Just all around a needlessly complex, no payoff, masterclass in game design like 99% of the 2023 characters.
He deserves an ELITE EZA like super trunks.
