Oh there's a vmg thread huh cool. Didn't expect much coming into the CBT and now I'm quite excited for the game. I mentioned it in the /v/ threads but one thing that really stood out to me was how nice and addicting it was to just read. It was only later that I realize that part of it was due to not being bombarded by stupid in-universe terminologies.Most of the chapters also being fully voiced greatly enhanced the experience too. Erin shot up the rankings for me almost purely from how she talks. I hope they go back and have voices for everything moving forward.Finally, it was just nicely paced all around. Prologue was tightly written. Answers a lot of the world already while still leaving all the plot hooks. I was so satisfied I even filled out the survey form. I filled that shit in with high positivity. Only negatives I noted in the survey is that I was disappointed half of the Minato Girls Arc is not voiced. Some of the animations are a bit jank. SFX too. Erin's skill SFX sounds bad.Highly looking forward to the official release.

Speaking on the gameplay side, I expect some kits to be expanded upon a bit more. Like tag skills to be added later on. It was weird that only Erin and Moa have could block Purples and only Chikage could block Reds. Made the trial fight past level 10 rather rigid. I barely snuck in a clear with at level 15 with Runa/Erin/Moa/Chikage. The actual gameplay was far more active than I anticipated especially against the harder bosses. The rounds go by extremely fast even more so if you're up against Astaroth or Yuria. I can see it being real frustrating losing a run due to messing up a guard or not breaking on time. Once you put it all together though it feels great. The battle system as a whole has like a rhythm to it that I quite liked in the end.
The pre-release phase of this game has been a wild ride so far.
