I think poor Kiki would feel incomplete regardless, with or without a lover by his side. It's human nature to be generally unsatisfied with oneself and to always feel like there's something to work towards and improve on, and with the fundamentally human way Kiki is written I feel like he wears this kind of vulnerability on his sleeve. Even after mellowing out he'd probably fall into a lot of patterns of self-doubt and have instances where he feels like he's lacking something, and even more so in the context of a relationship with (You). Will (You) reassure him...?
